you mean there are psycho's mixing in with ows. sane people don't hang around parks in new york at 3:00 am.

and that goes for every major city. if you're going to pitch a tent in a down town park, you're going to infringe on psycho territory.

OWS has committed NO CRIMES actually, american citizens have committed crimes just as they do EVERY DAY all over the USA and the fact that police rather then doing their jobs and keeping the protesters safe from people committing crimes are to busy beating and arresting innocent protesters is the real reason that these crimes are able to be committed in the first place..

Its funny with all these cops around how any crimes at all would be committed don't you think that is pretty ironic.

The same reason pick pockets go to crowded events to steal from people is the same reason why you are getting a high rate of crime around these huge protests there isn't to much you can do about it but like I said maybe if the police were actually doing their job maybe there would be less crime happening in these areas.

Why dont you waste more time doing a list of republicans and democrats that have been and are in office or government and lets look at their crimes (that we know about) and lets compare them to the AMERICAN CITIZENS that have committed crimes in the vicinity of OWS movements... While you at it why don't you make a list of Corperations, CEO's, Wallstreet bankers, and Bank CEO's and their crimes for us....

Then I want you to take all of those lists of people who have done illegal things compare them to see how many of those people are in jail/were jailed for their crimes, and compare the amount of people they hurt due to their actions....

When you do all of that post it and lets so who the real problem is OWS or the other guys

So by your logic you also don't support ghettos, housing projects, mexico, jails, movies/TV or anything else that has had crimes committed in them. There problems/crimes committed in every social sphere of every place on earth. So what point are you trying to make, that OWS isn't perfect? Because by golly you're right! Way to go! But the good far outweighs the bad when it comes to OWS. You fail big time.

Many of you OWS supporters either don’t believe the info gathered in the OP is legit or believe that somehow this is not representative of the behavior of the majority at OWS.

For those who believe the stories are contrived I ask – Who would have the power to influence local and national media outlets across the country to make up these reports just to slander OWS? Right-Wingers? Tea Partiers?

For those who think the crimes reported are not representative of the majority at OWS I ask – How come nobody has ever compiled a similar list of crimes committed by the Tea Party? The media bias in this country obviously swings left, so where are the reports of crimes committed by the Tea Party (who number in the millions…much bigger than OWS)?

News stories are often slanted one way or the other by the media but it is very rare that stories are completely fabricated. The cards are stacked in favor of OWS yet all these crimes are reported? I think that’s a pretty good indication that this behavior IS representative of how OWS conducts itself. Seems like a logical conclusion!

Rest easy folks. OWS now has a new commercial to explain things. I think.... All I hear is "I WANT..." not We Want nor did I hear any solutions or simple suggestions.

Seems as how they'll welcome a stew of leftists to their mix, groups like ACORN and SEIU(run by international socialists)...And then the first person they list is Michael Moore...Interesting.

And THEN Ron Paul, who is, by all accounts, a VERY conservative person. Who in an interview with Fox News yesterday morning said that he agreed with OWS anger toward bailouts but not their methodology.

People around here act like Ron Paul is in the bag for OWS. And that simply isn't the case.

He listed, what 20-30 stories? And lets factor in another 20-30 that didn't get reported. That gives us around 60-100 people involved in these crimes. This movement is in 1500+ cities in the world. Do the math, it doesn't ad up to the majority being bad. Society is flawed in the way we treat each other. So OBVIOUSLY that is going to trickle down into OWS somewhat. But to say that's representative of the majority of protestors is downright absurd.
