It's not for Obama to act. It's not for the world to act. The only threats being made are for ambiguous and transparently false reasons by those who are claiming the moral high ground. Iran has made no violent overtures. Israel, the US, and the UK have done, however. Is Iran at war with anyone? Is Israel's army mobilized? Is the US's? The UK's? Hmm... See what's happening - again!?

I'm not happy at the prospect of another 'just war', but this situation hasn't come to us out of the blue. The USA and Iran have history, especially since the fall of the Shah, but before then as well.

That's what happens when the U.s Prop up leaders the people don't want !

Gaza? According to the first line of the video description it is the West Bank.

Images of dehumanization at Israeli checkpoints in the Occupied West Bank. Fathers, Mothers, Children, Babies, forced to endure hours in fenced-in cages just to leave their city or village.

The video says West Bank, can you prove otherwise?

If you can prove to me that isn't the West Bank then I will apologize but until then we will have to accept it as truth because when you present a YouTube video you expect us to believe it's the word of god.

Yeah yeah I know anyone can put upYouTube vids with any description they want. Some ATS members do it religiously

The military is really endangering the citizens of the US. If they allow greedy corporations to start wars and produce terrorists bent on revenge, they are not to be supported. Don't be fooled again, it is all about the oil.

You know, that's all very nice logic and reasoning, but what you fail to understand is that you need to....

"Think, learn, read, understand, realize, discover, comprehend, define, and at the end of that process," realize that it's never going to change, and those that think it will, are the ignorant ones.

It's been this way since the beginning of time and will continue to be, because we are human. We will make the same mistakes over and over again because we're not capable of learning from our experiences due to pride, ego and the thirst for power.

Those who cry for world peace are wasting their time and would be better off living in their own little world away from the political scene. They should either be educating themselves on reality or joining other groups like themselves to relieve their stress and anxiety by creating their own little bubble world.

It is precisely that kind of thinking that keeps us spinning our wheels in the same place. Try repeating this instead: "I learn from my mistakes because mistakes are how we learn. I love my fellow human beings with all their quirks and idiosyncrasies. Without them, my life would be lonely and colorless. I am grateful for all they give me. I am grateful for all life has given me. I know only truth, benevolence of thought and action, generosity with love and resources, and with my love. I give it freely and willingly, and I accept the love of others in return."

I know it's hard to do that because it's so bloody foreign to even consider that life could be so peaceful and easy and we could actually make a great deal of progress in so many ways that we're absolutely stifled now.

I'm just merely pointing out reality. I like your mantra, but me repeating it isn't going to change the thoughts of leaders. I respect your ideology, but you're wasting it on me and need to send it to Washington and Iran right now.

Cosmic, I take it you're not religious, or you'd know that man's destiny is already written until evil is taken out of the way. And guess what? Man isn't the one who's capable or going to be the one to remove evil from the world. But it will happen! I'll tuck your little mantra in my pocket for when that time comes!!!

Man can do it - with Woman's guidance, of course.

There is no good reason to give up that easily. It can be done. You may think you have a small voice but it's not about size, baby. It's about the strength of your will. You don't need to *do* anything in particular. Think those thoughts. Chant that mantra. Not out loud, no need to teach it to others, no need to do anything other than believe it to be true and you will make that change. Each of us is an whole in the whole of everything. Each of us just thinking, knowing, believing what we know to be right is all that's needed for the change.

Rupert Sheldrake wrote about and studied something called morphic fields. In a very oversimplified (or perhaps not so much) it means that our thoughts produce a field that is detectable by others. It creates a morphic resonance. He postulates that this is what influences and even forms our societies and cultures. We are conscious beings *unless we decide not to be*. Our culture lately has been exactly that. We have surrendered our awareness because, apparently, we prefer being numb. We can change this though. It's not a death sentence. We are the judge and jury in our lives. If we say it is so, it is so.

You can change your world with your thoughts. Your thoughts are what are keeping things the way they are, but only for as long as you surrender your sovereignty of mind, heart, and body to those fields who are more pervasive than your own. They have taken a long time to become so entrenched in our kind. We can change it in the blink of an eye though. It's a lot easier than you might think.

And guess what, Iran has done the same thing over and over again through Hamas, Hezbollah, the PRC, the Taliban, the Quds Force, etc., etc.......

Don't even mention the words "crimes against humanity" to me when Iran is one of the worst offenders against it's own people. If they will do it to their own, what do you think they'll do to others? Wake up!

edit on 7-11-2011 by Deetermined because: (no reason given)

What the bloody hell are you talking about? Are you just throwing around names of muslim militant/paramilitary organizations as being inhumane in hopes that I am too stupid to already know what they are? Just because they aren't alligned with the US or Israel, they are automatically horrible people who commit crimes against humanity? I don't even think that you know what the definition is for crimes against humanity, because if you did, you would probably change your tune.

And Iran is a "worst offender" of "crimes against humanity" against its own people? Yeah, under the US-backed Shah 32 years ago.

You dare tell me to "wake up"? Pathetic.

OldCorp-
Er... ummmm, not to point fingers, but you have your facts confused. It was Lebanese Christians that went into Sabra and Shatila, not Israeli Jews. Oh yeah, I know, "Well the Jews let them do it." BS. Put the blame where it belongs or go peddle your disinfo elsewhere to people dumb enough to buy it.

Excuse me? I got my facts straight out of a book called "The Politics of Genocide" which has a whole chapter on it, with many references. You're the one spreading disinformation.

PS Thanks for putting words in my mouth. I specifically refer to Israelis as Israelis, not Jews. I label people based on their nationality, not personal religious preference which is none of my business.

Iran has the second highest execution rate in the world next to China! Look up the CURRENT numbers of those that were public and the number that were done in private and are kept secret.

This has got to be one of the biggest propaganda pieces I have seen in a while. It is full of false accusations about Iran. It blames Iran for having secret nuclear facilities when everyone knows Iran told everyone about that exact facility as they were building it.

The article goes on to remind us of the Iranian bogeyman. This is geared to prepare all of us for an attack on Iran. I hope the public doesn't buy it. They are definitely stepping up their psy-op campagin on the public.

I waited for 1 week before reading this because of your headline. Now I realize you are not a douchebag FOX follower. I am glad you were not fooled by the propaganda campaign waged by the CIA and Israel. They want Iran bad and must feel like it is now or never because their support base is crumbling.

Even Christians are starting to question Jewish intentions even though they could care less about another muzzie nation getting bombed into caveman times. That is not to say they would not stand behind Israel no matter what they do, but they are starting to question the reasons. It's a start i guess.

Christians and Israelis will usher in Armageddon one way or another so I guess I should just shut up and let them get at it. It is futile to talk sense to either one. Makes me feel all warm inside thinking about how each of them hate each other, but want to use their shared hatred of Muslims to bring about God's return so the Christians can go straight to heaven and the Jews can get judged for killing Jesus.

I am glad I found out how crazy both of them are before I fell for their BS.

I never thought about it until now, but by reading the title it's possible to interpret that it may have been one of those bomb Iran threads. I don't blame you. I'm glad you decided to join in. You make some good points.

I have gotten to the point of worry and fear due to all the people eating all this up in the real world. It's like we live in a huge mental institution with crazy attendants running the show.

Not only do people not see the obvious, they get mad when you point it out. Oh well, it's always been that way. I'm not sure if you were under the impression that I support these war criminals. Trust me, I have known about these clowns for a long while.

Cheers.

President Obama has pledged change. He has pledged to get us out of the wars in the Middle East. Oh wait, that thing with Libya....

If he mindlessly follows Israel into Iran, I will be surprised.

But then, I was surprised when I woke up one morning and found out we had invaded Iraq.

At that moment, my first thought was "Crap, bet we don't have an exit strategy."

Just wondering how much money we have given to Iran in the past to train their troops and build up their military like we did with Saddam Hussein and Osama Bin Laden....Wow, sounds a little like Obama Hussein.....POTUS.

Just read an article in The Washington Post about how the banks made more profit in the 2.5 years under Pres. Obama than they did in the 8 years under Pres. Bush. www.washingtonpost.com... d=z1

Maybe I don't know what the heck is really going on. Think I'll go back to work.

The banks just got over a trillion dollars free and clear with NO INTEREST from Bush on his exit. Remember the big hooplah and the subsequent stock market crash and failed mortgages? Mickey mouse could have been president right now with the same results. Banks shorted themselves and then bought their own stocks back at a better price. They leveraged trillions of dollars against their own made up crisis. They paid their top brass a lot of money in bonuses because they had to get rid of all that money somehow.

I would think most of that money has been transferred to their personal accounts offshore by now. It's just numbers in a computer anyway.

As this whole incident has re-sparked interest in me. I have looked up some old incidents concerning IRAN. You could label some propaganda and some not. Its up to your own outlook and common sense Here is a link to an interesting read it is what the title suggests Please read...... Halliburton Charged with Selling Nuclear Technologies to Iran LINK
Here is the first few lines if you find your self interested read the full article. quote from the article
article Source: Global Research.ca, August 5, 2005, Title: “Halliburton Secretly Doing Business With Key Member of Iran’s Nuclear Team,” Author: Jason Leopold

former Cheney company Halliburton allege that, as recently as January of 2005, Halliburton sold key components for a nuclear reactor to an Iranian oil development company. Leopold says his Halliburton sources have intimate knowledge of the business dealings of both Halliburton and Oriental Oil Kish, one of Iran’s largest private oil companies

IT just shows that the interest transcends who is in power at any given time

Interesting read, I quickly gazed over it so I will have to look into the wording and the source later on. Cheny has always had his Hand in the pie. He bombs countries the rebuilds them. It's a booming business. That's not even mentioning every thing else he has a piece of the pie in.

Whether it was Gaza or the West Bank is irrelevant, I was speaking specifically about Israeli Arabs in Israel proper and you know that. This is the third time I have stated that, yet you want to argue about semantics. This video, a good job of evenhanded foreign reporting, shows exactly what Israeli Arabs have to complain about: The National Anthem and High School curricula.

Oh my.
Such terrible living conditions. They don't like the National Anthem and they wish they could have more Arabic poetry in the classrooms. Oh well, them's the breaks when you're an Arab Muslim living in a Jewish state. How much you want to bet that Jews in Muslim countries live under much harsher restrictions?

Carry on.

Top ten execution nations.
1.China.
2.Iran.
3.North Korea.
4.Yemen.
5.United States.
6.Saudi Arabia.
7.Libya.
8.Syria.
9.Bangladesh.
10.Somalia.

I wouldn't be using execution rates as a moral high ground if i was from any of these nations.

Don't try and weasel your way out of this one oldcorp. Your whole basis for your argument was:

the Arab Israelis who live inside Israel, and you come back with some Boo Hoo piece about the border crossings between Gaza and Israel. They are hardly the same thing.

I pointed out it was the west bank and arab Israelis. So what are you trying to twist my words into now.

I even quoted your post. Another one of your lies exposed. I will understand if you shamefully not respond.
