Judge William Adams beats daughter for using the Internet

I only got as far as 1.23 before I had to stop the clip.
A truly cruel,sadistic ,horrible sight to witness.
Even worse, for a child to have to live through.

I can't believe how anyone can watch this clip, & continue to state that our freedom/right to raise our children as we believe,is more important than our moral duty of care to our fellow man (Especially the vulnerable) .

If it is a freedom/right, then heartless pigs like this man will help see them revoked.
Beatings like this are not tolerated by society for good reason.

This is plainly wrong.

I dont care if you think it is hypocrisy, I didn't threaten him. I was explaining what happens in the real world if he said in public, instead he feels like he can get away with it here. Like he gets away with it. Thats not debating it... Its being inappropriate ...There is a difference.

The father did not spank her for using the internet. He spanked her because she disobeyed his order not to use the internet or turn on the computer, whatever.

So she told the world, " Hey, this is what happens when I'm a bad girl and willfully disobey my father." .The solution is simple. Obey your father and you will not get spanked. Problem solved.

This was not abuse. I've seen abuse and believe me this is not it. Did he break her arm with a baseball bat? Did he put out lit cigarettes on her breasts? Did he lock her in a closet for a month only giving her bread and water once every 3 days and not letting her have any light? No, he spanked her. hard yes, but still only a spanking.

You are making this seem worse than it is by applying terms like "violence" and Abuse" which are not there.

Remember I told you that I got spankings like this or sometimes worse?

My mother told me recently, sometimes she spanked us out of anger and that it was wrong for her to spank us when angry. She felt bad about it and yes, I remember some of those spankings were just as harsh as the spanking this man gave his child. Perhaps he was angry.

Do I look at my mothers spankings and feel she was being violent or abusive to me? Not at all.

I know I deserved the spanking because it was I who choose to disobey. My mother and I have a great relationship. I love her dearly, see her every week and try to always be there for her when she needs something. She did the best she knew how with us kids and we all turned out just fine. We know the spankings were a form of discipline harsh yes, but done out of love to teach us right from wrong and to obey - sometimes parents have good reasons why they don't want us to do something -

in this case, we don't know why the girl was asked to abstain from the computer. Perhaps she was watching porn, or talking to her boyfriends/girlfriends when she was supposed to be doing homework etc.

This girl was 16 they said? Hardly a child. In some cultures around the world this girl was a full grown woman. You do not know that she had these kinds of spankings every time she was spanked. That's only your assumption.

i didn't say anything about bombing other countries but I do not think we should kill women and children, it's bad enough in war they have to kill male solders.

He's a worm for doing that. I'm glad this video has gone viral. I agree that it's not anyones business what happens in other peoples houses, but still, you cannot just sit here and agree with the father. That was torture.

I had no intentions for that to happen. I profusely apologize for this critical miscalculation.

I can't imagine how bad it would be to be a public defender of a murderer or rapist in a real life court trial. Can you imagine the insanity those lawyers must face??

As for the laws.... Look up domestic violence involving a minor. Federal laws will apply. I hope you retract the above statements and that other that call me a hypocrite can see I am well within my rights to be angry.

Anyway... Is this little girl still living with them...?

She needs to be taken out of their custody and put into a caring home.

Did you read the info's i posted as to what the proffessionals regard "Abuse" as.

The way a child is treated by a parent, against, The way two strangers treat each other.
Do you have reading problems?.
If two strangers meet, one attacks the other like that, a crime is committed.
A parent attacks a child with violence, and, does not stop, that is an assault, he delivered punishment three times over, that is abuse, and, children damaged so badly that they do not recognise an abusive assault when they see it as regards their own treatment, is nothing more than an ongoing symptom of abuse that needs addressing.

I'm sorry but I have to disagree with you.

Muzzleflash is NO supporter of child beatings or wrong doings to people.
I been around for a bit and got to know his posts, which I enjoy very much.
As you can see, my opinions on this matter are different to his, but still, you're going way off key here.
Muzzleflash is a well respected member of Ats and the un-official best poster for me.

These are the same professionals that condone pumping children with harmful or risky drugs to control their behavior , that is far far more abusive than a belt.

A belt you can heal from in a day or two.

The implied consent that it is OK to attack a child because other children elsewhere are being attacked defeats the purpose of defending everyone against violence.
You may believe their are bigger problems out there, but, deal with the problems in your own backyard first.

I actually doubt very much the person who stated those words has anything but the best interests of children at heart, i do not agree with any act of violence towards children, its worse than beating a puppy for pissing on the floor.

What the video I posted is showing is the attitude of teens today. The video I posted was about some girls who stole money from girl scouts. If you watched the video I posted, you would see that not only do these girls have no remorse for stealing money from some girl scouts, they actually believed they are entitled to it and it is the Girl Scouts fault. My argument is, if those girls in the video I linked got whooped a few times, they would have more respect for others.

Or they would think its right to harm teenage girls.

If anything it gives them LESS respect for people..

Violence is NEVER the answer, i don't care what any holy book says.
