Why do you not practice what you preach, namely = LOVE thy neighbours and Let the man who cast stones be without SIN?

(1) I was agnostic before i became a Christian, I believed in God but didn't know who God was.
(2) Well enough, I know its another deceptive Neopagan religion with a strong influence of Satanism.
(3) Your moral code.
(4) Not entirely, but I know its something to do with the seasons.
(5) I honestly don't, in-fact my grandmother was one, but now I'm a Christian I can see the dark path its leads to.
(6) Who said I didn't? It would be unwise to judge my character off a thread would it not? I love everyone here and know that I myself am a sinner, we are all sinners, but theirs a difference between embracing evil and turning from your sin in repentance. Children today are being taught witchcraft on all fronts... And that is such an evil thing as witchcraft is absolutely forbidden in the bible and for good reasons, its satanic.

Gonna try and ask the op a question bet he doesnt answer because he added me as a foe lol (very unchristian)

Ok it seems to me you have not made any of the wicca's see the light, so what should be done to them eh?
Do you agree with the bible and they should be killed or are you just gonna threaten them with Hell?

If you have sincere questions, I'll be more than happy to answer. But remember this is a thread about witchcraft so lets try and avoid topic drift if we can.

You are correct, this thread IS about witchcraft, BUT it is based on your opinion (no matter where that opinion came from) and many of us would like to know how you came to believe what you do before expanding upon the topic at hand.

I just can not deal with double standards, I am all for a person standing by their beliefs and having faith in what they believe, but if your going to preach something please live it. I have quoted from the bible multiple passages relating to what I am saying, the very bible he is defending. I am just a little confused on that.

Thanks for the star!!!!

Exodus 22:18 does not apply to the time of today, it applied to the time of the Egyptians.

Anything else you would like to take out of context?

So you didn't just say that Jesus agrees with this statement from Exodus?

Perhaps you should scroll up...

What do you mean "does he agree with it" ?

The Old Testament Law prescribed the death penalty for an extensive list of crimes, it was the law at the time for the Hebrews.

if Jesus met a witch in his day, do you believe he would command her/him to be destroyed?

Would you mind answering my question?

Romans 12:9 KJV
Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

In this verse we are told to Abhor evil (which means hate) and love what is good.

Colossians 2:8 ESV
See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ.

Elemental spirits of the world? Sounds alot like wicca to me. Just because wiccans practice nature base witchcraft doesn't mean its any less worse than satanic witchcraft.

1 Timothy 4:1 ESVs
Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons,

I also think the above verse is very note worthy for the subject of wicca and anyone considering partaking in it.

John 14:6 ESV
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me..

Finally for anyone worshipping other spirits or deity's this is what Jesus said in his own words.

Like someone said before If someone posted a thread titled Exposing the evils of Christianity the thread would be shut down.
But seeing its to do with wicca's it isnt (Which is a real religion)

link to prove it is (In Law)
www.religioustolerance.org...

But the OP is allowed to make a thread saying that wicca's are the work of the Devil and they will goto Hell.
I bet any other religion would have been defended more.

Oh and to the OP you have contradicted yourself many times in your thread and even said that being Jealous isnt against the 10 commandments (read the 10th one again)
Why can't you live your life and let other people live theirs?
God gave us freewill didn't he? let people use it instead of preaching.

Just found the post lol

Your mother and grandmother must be so proud of you and a little disappointed in how badly you are using your magic to conjure up the spirit of Jesus, and apply his curses to scare us witches. You are even trying to use magic when you continue to manipulate your affirmations of these curses and affirm that you are correct and have the last word. Magicly! Anything that you do willing to impinge your will onto reality is magic. You are performing magic, badly.

You avatar is supposed to portray Jesus? He looks like an evil sorcerer to me. That's ok, all sorcerery is scary, and seeing as how good at it Jesus was, he would appear to be scarey. I think it's funny you are hiding behind such a big scary sorcerer of an avatar.

Jesus performed sorcerery when he went to the dessert for a shamanistic vision quest, in which he was tested for the purpose of mastering his powers. He followed the wind to the desert as was commanded of him by the wind and he answered the wind.

It was the mastery of this sorcerer over the wind after his vision quest in the desert that gave him the power to silence the wind on the Sea of Gallilee. It was sorcery that turned water to wine, and fed the masses from loaves of bread and fish.

Yes I am aware of those passages, believe it or not I am not against Christianity, nor am I against wiccan or any persons religious views. We can agree to disagree. Each person comes to their belief system by experiences. Whatever path you are on lead you to Christianity, that is great, it works for you and your spirit. There are others who have taken a different path, wether it leads to Wicca, Islam or Buddhism depends on what works for them spiritually. We should be grateful that most religions have very postive and good core values, resulting in positive and good people. I think that devil worshipers need a dose of your post........lol.

See and yet I find another flaw in the multiple diety worship idea. When I was a practicing Catholic I prayed a rosary to mary, called on patron saints in times of need. When you go into a Catholic church there are many statues and icons representing saints and angels. So I ask why is it OK to pray to these other saintly people, one would think that God, being the jealous God the bible claims him to be, would not be very happy with this practice. Just a thought!!

There is a thread purporting to expose the evils of Christianity, in fact.

But instead of using that thread well, they're attacking Christians instead of Christianity. It was made specifically to attack the OP of this thread, which in my eyes makes it a completely useless thread. We should be trying to prove them wrong, not accidentally proving them right.

There have been many threads in this forum and others on this site attacking Christianity, and many others logically and rationally addressing issues with Christianity. None have been deleted except for violating the terms of service.

Perhaps some fact checking is in order before you post?

This theory of Jesus going around enchanting people is a weak one, but not only that, it is derived out of the fact that some people cannot face the thought that Jesus might be telling the truth, that he is the living God and can do anything he wants without the need for sorcery or witchcraft.

It is uncomfortable for you to believe that Jesus did actually accomplish miracles. Why? Because if he really did as the Bible said then we need to change, we need to repent, and we need to trust in him. Following Jesus is not a philosophy, it is an active lifestyle. Jesus requires everything from us, and we get more than the world in return.

To avoid this problem, you have convinced yourself that Jesus was some kind of magician or enchanter, which is the exact same false accusations that the Jewish scribes made at the time.

It is a pitty, but the more you falsely accuse Jesus of being a witch the more you are proving my point that wicca leads down a very dark path, a path of deceit where the demonic spirits (nature spirits) you have communicated have been lying to you. Wake up...

Why do you keep trying to teach, when you have not learned yourself? You admit you know less about the Bible than a Pagan. Consider that.
You know less about your Bible, than someone who you say is in league with Satan.

Time for you to get offline, and go read. You do not know the will of God, and to claim you do when you have only recently converted is arrogant and extremely un-Christian of you.

Thank you for answeing my first set of questions, now I am going to ask you to do some research =
Google Gaïa and tell me what you find.
Google Khali and tell me what you find.
As for answer number 2 = Satan is by definition a part of the Christian religion, therefore I do not recognise this "entity" as being any more real than I find the Toothfairy real. Is that understandable to you? If not please tell me so that I can clarify it further for you.
As for answer number 4 = Well that tells me that you have not done a lot of research as those are the laws we must abide. The greatest law of all is that = Everything you send out into the world, you wil recieve back threefold.
This means that no matter what kind of emotions we feel towards another living being, it will be recieved back, only 3 times as powerful. Which is why we try to send nothing but LOVE and JOY out in to the world. Also known as KHARMA.
So next time, do me a favour. Think and RESEARCH before you start insulting me and my kin.

Is exorcism practiced in Wicca? No. Is faith healing practiced in Wicca? No. Is supernatural winemaking practiced in Wicca? No. And did he summon them? No.

I didn't comment on whether or not Jesus' practices coincided with Wiccan ones. The thread is about a Christian poster's attitude toward Wicca. What Jesus is said to have done might reasonably influence a Christian's attitude about anything.

Although Wicca lies 1,900 years in Jesus' future, "Cleansing spells" and "healing spells" are staples of Wiccan practice. Cleansing spells are a type of exorcism. Healing spells speak for themselves.

As for the other acts I mentioned, Akragon posted in the thread, and asked the community,

if Jesus met a witch in his day, do you believe he would command her/him to be destroyed?

What Jesus did in the Transfiguration is what the Witch of Endor did, except Jesus did her one better. What Jesus did at the Marriage of Cana would invite comparison with Bacchus by First Century Roman subjects. So, both of these acts would be of interest and possible concern to Jesus' neighbors, as would the two practices where Jesus more directly parallels Wicca.

All four acts suggest that the answer to Akragon's question is that Jesus might well have had a more permissive attitude toward sorcery in general than his time, place and religion might suggest. This would make the OP's extravagant rejection of a specific and mild kind of witchcraft all the more remarkable.

Wicca, Islam or Buddhism are all works of satan and if you studied the roots of those religions it is clear. Jesus said there is only one path to heaven, not multiple paths of different religions. Being a "good person" is not good enough, clearly if that was the case their would of been no need for Jesus to come and die for us on the cross.

So that explains things clearly to me, you was a catholic, unfortunately Catholicism is one of greatest evils that turns people away from true Christianity. Praying to Mary is idolatry. It is NOT ok to pray to other saintly people, this is the danger of Catholicism, it makes you think some things are ok which clearly are not ok in the bible.
