it is subliminal. you say it isn't because your attention was drawn to that. if you weren't told about that "message" being there i don't think your conscious mind would have caught that.

Advertising doesn't work on me, but in general, yes it does work, and like a charm. A simple glance at society will tell you that. As far as subliminal not working, I don't buy that either. Your mind takes in everything, but filters most of it as useless garbage, so anything that is underlying the conscious information that is being fully processed is still imbedding in your mind. How well it works is probably a matter of each person's receptivity/defenses against subliminal influence.

I don't think it has to do with the Occupy Wall Street movement. The commercial was posted on YouTube in July, months before the Occupy protests started.

I don't think people want to hear that because it would prove Alex Jones wrong and people don't seem to want to believe that not only is he wrong, he is making people believe a wrong.

I don't follow Alex Jones, on the simple grounds that my common sense threatens to leap up and hit my cerebellum with a frying pan if I watch for more than a few moments.

However, I will say in this instance, he's likely on target.

To be truly subliminal, there would be nothing noticed by the viewer. If there were a placard placed in-between frames then you would have a subliminal message.

I actually saw the anti-protest sign without it being pointed out so it was not subliminal. The nudity in Roger Rabbit and the SEX flash in Harry Potter were subliminal.

Advertisers use a lot of psychology to target audiences. Placing something in the open to attract viewing is done all the time as well as the changing of audio volume. By definition, something subliminal is not viewed or heard in the open. It is done all the time, but not in the Sharpie commercial.

One of the number one things to target audiences is FEAR. Think about it.

I'm positive that there is all the esoteric (symbolism, subliminals, ect) elements in this ad that point to mind control and conditioning.

Just looking at all the "shill" posts in this thread indicates that something much deeper and more insidious is afoot.


The power elite LOVE to use esoteric elements in their works, heck I'd call the illuminati a "craft". Truly diabolical.

I would say their most popular "calling card" is their clever ridicule of those that CAN SEE their works and are able to explain them to the masses. When "they" ridicule you ...you are right over the target and they know it.

I don't believe you actually read my post. You just saw a few things that reminded you of someone else and argued with them in your post instead. My post was very clear that I believe strongly in the power of propaganda to be subtle, insidious and unnoticed by the viewer on a conscious level.

Your right, it isn't subliminal influence, it's just the rich taking advantage of the stupid and sit around laughing while we argue about the fact that nobody cares enough to stand up and stop being screwed anally.

The fact is part of the reason WHY there are so many brain dead citizens in the USA is because of the SUBLIMINAL conditioning brain washing that the children get as "education" in the "public Fool (school) system.

You are forgetting that mind control begins in our country at a very early age which includes many things including the boob tube....just the electronic flicker alone of that stupid box makes people very susceptible to what might otherwise be plain tripe on TV.

The assaults on people are everywhere , from poisons like fluoride in the water ( calming agent) to chemicals in the foods we eat, to what I mentioned above, we the people are being attacked by the elite even as we do normal everyday things in life.

While I think Ron Paul is not a tool of the elite, I doubt that he will ever get elected with our corrupt rigged voting system. I think you know what we as citizens must eventually do if we ever want our liberties back.

Deep within the very meaning of what it means to be an "individual", there are soldiers of humanity brewing. You might not understand how this is relevant or how it even makes sense, I don't completely either. Just know that as long as everyone is not "stupefied", the more and more others will try to pull and advance human culture and individuality. There is a balance that is met with opposing force just like everything else in nature, economics, any self sustaining system.

Humanity functions like a heartbeat, it undergoes a fast, stressful pulse of progression then mellows out for a bit. It settles then another progressive revolution of some kind happens. It's a revolution in human thought, its called a revolution because it happens over and over again constantly. We are getting smarter and our collective push cannot be controlled.

Okay, apologies for the motivational lecture. I go off on quasi-religious philosophical rants from time to time.

I wouldn't go so far as to call this subliminal at all. I actually saw this ad a couple days back and immediately pointed it out to my wife. She didn't notice it. I was like, LOL "did you see that crap? That was about as blatant as anything I have seen?" She simply missed it and I had to rewind it. Her attitude though is like so many other passives out there. "Oh, I'm not stupid enough to believe that crap."

Well, it happens all of the time in virtually every single thing you see on TV. This has been proven over and over. Yet so many keep dismissing it.
