My wife, who was my girlfriend at the time, was involved with Code Pink and other hard left organizations. Today she is much like me. Tired of the left wing tactics. Tired of her Hispanic immigrant husband being called a racist for being a Tea Party member and not supporting illegals. Tired of her husband being called a murderer and a baby killer for choosing to protect this country...Simply tired of Obama's lies and the doublespeak(as our lefty friends like to put it) of the very minions who reject the moniker of Socialist or Communist and yet defend the failed systems, the murderous systems, at every turn.
Simply tired of the hypocrisy and the lies. Hiding from history and distorting it at every turn. Because if they ever figure out that it has and always will be the left that perpetuated racist policy in the US-from Jim Crow to the racist zoning policies of the PROGRESSIVE ERA that gave birth to the ghetto we know today, that took over Europe igniting WW2, with national socialism and communism fighting for the control of the proletariat, their heads would simply cave in.
And today they threaten to start a revolution of the so-called "99%" and we wonder where we fit into this revolution. Are we, their fellow Americans, the enemy? It seems so. Since they keep calling her, and myself lackeys of the "1%" simply for not agreeing with their far left wing ideology.
We, like I said on page one, are the 53% of Americans who work for a living, love this country, and wish to preserve the foundations it was built on.
by creating giant mobs of useless eaters, all to eat the fruits of the labor of the productive so that they don't have to feel the discomfort of their failure anymore.

What a lot of these people don't realize is that not so long ago I was a hardcore left winger. People like centurion1211 could attest to that. I even supported Barack Obama for the presidency in 08. But unlike my fellow left wing counter parts, I was never anti-capitalist, I was never anti-gun, anti-profit, or anti Wall St.
What changed in me? Watching the Liberal left I supported become a huge conglomeration of whiny entitlement peddling brats who threaten revolution, and call racism, and use mob tactics as a means to effect change in the system.
I got tired of it. You could say I GREW THE HELL UP.

that sure was the pot calling the kettle or what is better known as hypocrisy.

I see what you're saying.
I, for one, have listed a volley of bank regulations that I believe are IMPERATIVE to the safety and soundness of our banking institutions as well as restrictions on what government can do in order to maintain bank stability.
I'm not ANTI-regulation. I'm for regulations that make sound business possible and bad business is minimized.
You can never get rid of corruption. But you CAN minimize it.

Wrong, I constantly question my beliefs, but I haven't been given a good reason to CHANGE them. I have changed my mind in the past when confronted with undeniable facts. I am ALWAYS open to changing my views, but what I see here is a VAST amount of brainwashed ignorance, I'm very serious, and I don't care how sure you all are of it, you're so wrong I can taste it.
emphasis mine
Origins of "Jim Crow" laws
“One of the strangest things about the career of Jim Crow was that the system was born in the North and reached an advanced age before moving South in force.”
--- snipit ---
Discriminatory laws were comon in virtually every Northern State as of 1860. In 1847 Ohioans prohibited the settlement of the 518 emancipated slaves of the Virginia statesman John Randolph. An Ohio congressman threatened that if any blacks tried to cross the border into Ohio, "the banks fo the Ohio River...would be lined with men with muskets on their shoulders to keep off the emancipated slaves."
The only Northern States where blacks were permitted to vote were Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine; and even there they were intimidated out of showing up at the polls. Only 6% of all the "free" blacks in the North lived in these States, however; 94% of all Northern blacks did not enjoy the right to vote as of 1860.
--- snipit ---
Illinois Senator Lyman Trumbull explained that "there is a great aversion in the West---I know it to be so in my State---against having free Negroes come among us. Our people want nothing to do with the Negro."
