This move by anonymous has the very real potential to backfire on them, badly. Publishing a cop's home address most likely won't get the cop hurt. If attacking the cop was what someone was after, they know exactly where he'll be. He's a cop after all He has a very predictable and assigned area with times to expect him. However, someone who wouldn't have the guts to attack the cop directly might well go for a wife and/or kids.

I hope this doesn't end badly for the family of this Cop. If it does....Anonymous will have crossed a line with me and millions more like me. You don't put a bulls eye on the FAMILY of the person you want to target for something. That may sound old fashioned to some, and to be totally honest here, I grew up as the son of a Cop so my view is hardly without bias...but some lines have been respected by even the worst of organized crime. Why can't Anonymous show some class too? Oh well...

This is all publicly available information. As long as the information was obtained legally, there's not much they can do. The county I live in publishes property information. I know where Stevie Nicks and Alice Cooper live and anybody can get that information.

But I agree, Anonymous could grow up a little and show some class. I don't like where our law enforcement is going. We have cameras on every corner, cops video tape traffic stops but if we video tape them on a public street, we're violating "wiretapping" laws. It is getting out of control with rogue law enforcement. They have the judges and the commissioners on their side and nobody will hold them accountable. I think it's time we remind them who they really serve.

Agreed. But it might be a good lesson if the copper gets a call from his wife who says "Someone just rang the doorbell, and when I answered it, I got a face full of mace."

There is no "membership" in Anon, there is us, we are hive mind. Everyone and anyone can be Anonymous. This is why some people make the irrelevant argument of a CIA controlled Anon. You cant control something that does not officially exist. It is quite simple actually so simple many people struggle to understand what Anon is when it is staring them in the face. There is no sign up, so fee, no initiation. There is no leadership ranking system that is the beauty of it it can not be corrupted. United as one / divided by zero. Anonymous is Chaos, a 5 headed Hydra. Remove one head 5 take it's place. It can not be controlled or infiltrated it is a blob, amoeba constantly consuming growing and evolving. It is you, me all of us who have a voice and ideas

Then you can really really tell anonymous MEMBERS - what you claim to be, membership dues or no - by the way they feel the need to prove to you they are anonymous. Guess you are not getting the meaning of the word anonymous are you?

Now question is what does Officer Bologna want on his Pizza?

Feta cheese
Jalepeno's
Hot sauce
Pork

eh that should do
edit on 26-9-2011 by Unknown Soldier because: (no reason given)

First of all, did you even think of the cops family? Do you have any idea how hot sauce might hurt his daughter?
Second of all, what the hell does bombarding anyone with pizzas accomplish other than wasting pizzas?

P.S. Being of hive mind is hardly something to brag about.

There is something i dont get, why not have an attorney during protests? one that knows the constitution? Have that attorney talk to the cops and tell them whats legal and whats not and that he would be monitoring the protest and anything the cops do in front of him will be taken to court?

I am all for anonymous doing their thing, but the legal system must also have some loopholes does it not?

I think the idea you have is good on its surface but I would have to question the practicality. My lawyer charges $250/hr and he is kind of cheap. But you have to wonder then why there are no lawyers there protesting, or really at any protests.

OK then you should be able to PM me with My Name, Identity since I am not "Anonymous"

After all i have been activist and protested in person Scientology, Operations ect I am nobody

That is all i will say... it is all about making a statement

Do i care about the Cop? No not at all. His name is on his badge and any guy on the street can access his information... phone book. This is public domain. Now if someone chooses to do something drastic or violent that is their own doing. Bologna exposed himself with his vile actions. He abused the constitutional rights of protesters and assaulted them with mace. The DOX expose his history more so and paints a telling picture of an abusive cop power mad and out of control. Violation of civil rights case after case. I have no sympathy for pond scum of his sort. Why would I?

Bragging? i gave you an answer to your statement, we are united as one, You are arguing for the sake of arguing.

Silly

So yeah what about the +20 sword?

Did you forget which name you were posting under or does this response to my response to SOMEONE ELSE make no sense?

no, this is not domo1. this is undo. i don't know domo1. but i do know that apologizing to anonymous gets you into even more trouble. they don't want apologies or changes in behavior. once you do anything to irritate them you go on their list. they don't want you to straighten up and fly right. they want to make your life hell because you disagreed with any of them, at any point in time. did you see what they did to that lady that they claimed was clinically insane? if you know someone is medically ill, especially from a mental disorder, why would then go on a campaign to harrass her everywhere she goes, post all her data up on the net for people to abuse, and make the lives of her and her son and her friends, hell?

i don't understand the rest of your question.
i just commented that i understand the wow nerd thing (you sure you don't give people silly names?) because i am a wow nerd.

Some people feel that people getting hurt and property destruction is what this country needs. You don't know those women's back grounds. A lot of those protesters gave up their jobs to follow their integrity and protest political and corporate activity they know is wrong. Good for them. They just endured incredible pain to stand up for what they believe in.

There could be a sort of experimentation. It could help protesters if they all chipped in a lil who knows, maybe the hour the lawyer is there would help spread the word to other cops to leave protesters alone.

its a long shot but it can work. Since it is still in the constitution.

any help for individual citizens in that constitution? because with the way things are going, it'll soon be grounds to be tried in a court of law if you even disagree with someone. screw the mace. just having an opinion can get you f'ed with.

Exactly it is now a crime to occupy a public space, they had no reason to mace them. If your unit cant handle a couple of women then i have to lol at the incompetence of the NYPD. They made a b***** move. They abused their power. Remember what resulted in the Rodney King beating? The people will not stand for these gestapo style SS enforcers, they are just henchmen serving the corporate machines interests. Not to protect and serve but serve a beating to peaceful protesters.

Pathetic, these are not honorable men

yah but you missed the point in my post. A lawyer is a powerful figure in itself. By having the lawyer present to represent the rights, would a cop try and mug down someone who has studied law and can easily sue them by simply knowing the loophole in the system?

That is what im asking. I dont think it's been done before. Least from my knowledge.

i agree, btw, that they didn't need to mace anyone in that scenario. before the ladies by the orange thingy were maced, somewhere further ahead, i could hear females screaming. what was that about?

Cant decide if these cops were just lazy and did not want to exert the energy "grab them by the arm" and escort them away or they are flat out cowards. Maybe a bit of both. This is just like with cops shooting dogs for barking at them. Trigger happy, mindless robots.

Now you start posting your resume?

I only have one good thing I can say about that group and that is that they do understand how the internet works and their way around social media which makes them more than familiar with the worth of forum claims. Why make it if you cant back it up? Oh cuz that is the luck loophole. Sorry but I am just not impressed and if you really were one, I would be even less so. You are really trying much harder than you should be to convince me. Ask yourself why.

I dunno, has that happened? How many pizzas does it take to push a family over the edge? How many have they gotten so far? Did you get mad at the phonebook?

OK. The person I addressed it to did and that is all that mattered to me. No, I do not give people silly names. I have not called anyone a name once.

There are far too many off topic things being addressed to me. Why is that? You guys all really really seem to like talking to me.
