If my dad were a police officer and maced nonviolent women, I would not be surprised if the entire family got blowback right up until we left dad all by himself to sit around and play with his mace. What part are you still confused about?

I'm not asking what you would expect, rather if you would deserve it. So in that situation, would you deserve to be held accountable for your fathers actions?

I don't agree with that. I think the vast majority are protesting for good cause and have a very valid reason. Of course in any group of protesters you are going to find those that grandstand to garner attention. I don't actually think these young women were though. I was very VERY impressed with the interview one gave.

This thread is about whether or not it is acceptable to subject a persons family to public ridicule and harassment based on another family members actions. I say NO!

1. they don't forget

I hope they send the video to his mom, wife, kids and any other family members while at the same time sending it to NYPD police to let them the consequences of their childish behavior. Every time I see one of those video's I wish I could steal toe boot kick one of them in the face. Its not a option because if I do they will end up winning. Finding alternatives like this is grate. If you ever see this in action make sure you get a good shot of the cops face and if you cant get that get his badge number. This is a war, cops have peper spray, guns, hitting sticks, tazers, gas, microwave weapons, sound cannons and much more. I just saw a article of the NYPD police chief talking about how they have the capability to take out a plane. We have our camera's and the internet. The camera and internet is our gun. The only thing that lies in between us and them is our guns, camera's and internet. Just as we have a right in the constitution to own a gun we should have the right to use the internet FREELY and use our camera's ANY where we chose. # violence their is all ways another way. You use violence and they will lock you up and post your pic all over CNN.
