Adam Slinger: He saw two different events. Now this is a picture of the first event.
He saw this little orange dot streaking across the sky it did not make a sound and he says it hovered above the clouds for about 15 minutes or so before it disappeared into the atmosphere.
Then about 30 minutes later he saw a meteorite.
Brian McElhatten: And you could see pieces falling off, it almost looked like almost like a Roman candle flying horizontally through the sky if you're familiar with that and it lasted almost 4-5 seconds.
Our multimedia journalist Brien McElhatten captured two photos when he saw a glowing orange light before an object started streaking across the sky. One photo shows how the glowing light looked in Chandler.
The other image was taken as McElhatten kept the shutter open to show the object streaking across the sky.

That's the problem with videos like this.

That's the problem with videos like this.
It can be a UFO (because it is unidentified), but it may not even be flying, so we cannot call it a UFO.
We could call it a light in the sky, but we do not even know if that's true, it could be all CGI.

This is PROOF that the OP's video is the Space Shuttle Endeavor STS-130 taking off on Feb. 7, 2010.
Here is the source video:
www.youtube.com...
The OP's video lied about it being a UFO. They lied about the location. They lied about the date. It is complete deception. It is a HOAX.

This is my first ATS post! Woo! Be prepared for the awesomeness that follows:
(the following refers to the OP video) I'm perfectly willing to believe in UFOs, aliens, etc when all possible or logical explanations have been eliminated. When someone says, "It's a UFO," and then I see multiple videos of a space shuttle launch doing the same thing, there is just something inside me that can't possibly believe it is anything other than the space shuttle. Someone posted as to how the video could be uploaded so quickly that night. Well, if I was in the habit of trying to make thousands of hits on my Youtube page, I would be as creative as possible to make this happen. The video is completely legit. The idea of it being a UFO is not legit.
The ABC video of the ballpark is clearly something burning up in the atmosphere. I don't care what it is, it's burning up in the atmosphere. Could it be an alien ship from Zorgon? Sure, but it's clearly burning up in the atmosphere so I don't care what it is because it's burned up now. I'm still inclined to believe it was a meteor because if aliens managed to travel billions of light years to Earth only to have a fatal mishap in our atmosphere, then well, the joke is on them. They really need to work on their invasion/observation techniques.
"Is (1 + 1 = 2) a truth? The equation is consistent and repeatable within the system of mathematical thought, but outside of that system, and similar ones, the consistency and repeatability of the equation does not stand to reason. For example, in terms of time and space, there is no such thing as two identical units. So 1 + 1 cannot equal 2. From another perspective, when the units and signs of the equation are broken down in terms of their meanings, they come to an unknown. So we really don't know if 1 + 1 = 2 is a truth. Further, if the units and signs are mere invented labels with invented meanings, it follows that it is unlikely that the equation really is a truth (ie. truth does not equate with the fabrication of thought)."

Here I even transcribed the important parts so anyone who is feeling particularly lazy can just read it here instead of watching it in the video.

I wonder if everybody has forgotten about this 1st event prior to the meteor that was reported on September 14, 2011. It seems to me that this is at least a credible piece of information on the 1st event given it came from reporter Brien McElhatten from ABC15 News. Here's his bio if you're want to know more about him and judge for yourself if he is a worthy source of information.

I think everybody needs to calm down a little bit and stop implying that other members are lying or making things up. It's obvious from this news report that people saw two different events that night which would account for the different stories we've been hearing. Hence the confusion here on ATS.
Now obviously there has been a lot of problems with the youtube vids that have been popping up regarding this event. I know a couple of them have been proven to be hoaxes, HOWEVER, it is important not to throw the baby out with the bathwater, doncha think?
Perhaps we should get back to the credible evidence we have on hand and speculate from there.

They (YouTube and media companies) are all on the same side, making money fast with little work.
Just read point 6.C from the YouTube Terms of Service:

No risk of a lawsuit (at least from my understanding of all that legalese ).
