I think the simplest answer to that is:

I am Spartacus!

if it has to be explained I don't think one would understand. I am sure there are far more peeps here that could post a bunch about the reasons why. I just like to keep things simple

Typical Tea Party propaganda about unions being bad and business owners good. Part of their stance that worker rights, minimum wage, and all regulations against corporations are bad. If the tea party is real why don't you run as a 3rd party instead of a weak faction within the Republican Party?

Because third parties never gain any status or steam. Just look at the Constitution Party.

You guys realize that for every example posted about an injustice from the other side of the aisle, there is an example to the contrary form the opponents side, thus making all of this tit for tat futility. I think most of us know this too. So when we post this kind of stuff, we are just stirring the pot no? The 'us and them' should be those in control and us, not us and us. And 'those in control' are both gov and corps, not just one or the other. Maybe some enjoy making other fellow citizens cringe, but what value does it have?
Just sayin....

That's complete BULLSH*T beezer and you know it!!

These union protesters have good reason to do what they're doing.

What you FAIL to realize is that the REASONS and the TARGETS of such protest are EXTREMELY IMPORTANT to whether or not people support their actions.

If the Tea Party engaged in such a thing... I imagine it would be to the WRONG targets and for the WRONG reasons. However, if they targeted the RIGHT things and for the RIGHT reasons, I WOULD SUPPORT THEM!! But until they wise up and do the right thing, the tea party has only proven it is a puppet movement meant to rally scared xenophobes into fighting against their own best interests. These union members are FIGHTING FOR THEIR BEST INTERESTS and not taking any crap from higher-ups and corporate pigs. And MORE POWER TO THEM.

Stop your divisive propaganda and wake up to the DETAILS of reality, your assumptions are false and your support misguided.

Those guys are lucky they didn't try that in Miami.
The riot police would be out and they'd all be arrested.

Oh well. Nice troll.

Well, there are bad apples in all types of organizations

I think you're missing the point. For the last 2 years or more, the US media and Democrat party demonized the tea parties as extreme, violent racists. Even when they're probably among the most non-violent protests ever seen in America and examples of racism are few and far between?

Yet, these leftists can battle in the streets with riot police and take people hostage without any of the same condemnation or hand ringing from the MSM. I think it's pretty safe to say at this point, that our media is nothing more than the attack arm of the Democrat party.

2 years that's not too bad. The GOP has been demonizing unions since the 80's. And if you think the media supports the left all the time you really need to turn your tv on.

Not really, he is just telling it the way it is.

If the tea party did that you would have the typical ATS liberal crowd crowing about it.....when it is a union, it is ok. Funny how the private sector hasn't really gotten any raises in years while the public sector is living the high life. In comparison of wages, in the same job, the private is about 10 years behind the public.

Yes, there is a reason for unions, but now, as most of the government, it is part of the corruption that is crippling the system.

I am a proud progressive and am in novway an extremist. The tea party members however are usually uncompromising and stubbornly devoted to their ideaology no matter what reason and the facts say.

And who exactly said all union members are peaceful?

I do remember right wing media blatantly lying and misrepresenting the peaceful Wisconsin protests though but never heard any one say all unions are peaceful.

Yahoo: AP Link: Longshoremen storm Wash. state port, damage RR

The International Longshore and Warehouse Union believes it has the right to work at the facility, but the company has hired a contractor that's staffing a workforce of other union laborers.

LA Times Link: Hundreds of longshoremen storm grain terminal in Washington

Hundreds of angry longshoremen stormed through a grain shipping terminal in Longview, Wash., early Thursday and held security guards at bay while descending on a disputed train full of grain, cutting brake lines and dumping cargo.

The predawn labor protests came after a clash with police Wednesday in which hundreds of longshoremen blocked railroad tracks near Vancouver, Wash., to prevent grain cargo from reaching an export terminal 45 miles farther west. In that protest, they far outnumbered officers, pelting police with rocks and spraying them with pepper spray, police said.

The call for mobilization hit the International Longshore and Warehouse Union's Facebook page Thursday morning: "Call out the troops, we're going on a road trip!" one union member wrote.

Unions Support Progressive Democrats.

Looks like the unions are fighting each other.

Tea Party had nothing to do with this issue.

Good find beezzer.

His idea of progressives comes from the outrageous lies of glen beck and other right wing media.

Beck has lied so much about progressives that it makes any misrepresentation of the tea party, whether real or imagined, pale in comparison.

The man has actually distorted history and convinced the teapublicans that the nazis were left wing and learned their propoganda from American progressives. When actually they learned their propoganda from the British, that lie comes from a quote cherry picked from a Goebells speech and the nazis were actually far right extremist.

Truthfully America is facing its weinmar moment and all the right needs is a scapegoat to blame all of the countries problems on... Oh wait a minute.

No not mad I knew it was bs as soon as I saw the title.

The tea party has given me plenty of reason to bash and criticize their fake astroturf populist "movement", I don't need another one.

The tea party is to American politics what taco bell is to Mexican food,
A cheap populist substitute that leaves you full of crap.

There I got a little bashing in.

Those darned Tea Party trouble-makers....they're the only group of a MILLION people who DON'T leave any trash on the ground when they leave, either.

....compared to the union leftists. Evidence = Wisconsin capital building.
