Having a good time with all of you, and would like to see this thread through its natural conclusion (if there is any). As long as we are together here, I'll keep popping in. I wouldn't mind if it is the never-ending thread, even if we all get bored with the Open saga.

Here's a tentative list of things that Open is still waiting for (besides the bus to the ward...).

1 - The cat to come home, after escaping from the box
2 - The mothership
3 - 11.11.11 (and deeply regretting not having called the site like that)
4 - A new pair of reading glasses, this time for the third eye
5 - Mom's basement remodeling
6 - New followers unaware of the missing wiki
7 - A logo to trademark his "movement"
8 - New batteries for the clock on crack
9 - A cool idea for manual #5
10 - The coordinates to come back to this timeline
11 - S/he is not waiting for anything at all, it was a lie

I do think that the correct answer is #11. Here's what I think happened, after the successful 8311 hoax "open" decided to do a hoax site originally hosting it off the project pixels domain to see if people would play along. Once interest was shown, then the oct28 site was launched.

Most annoying I agree - I gave the Record a miss for a while as I like the option of playing videos or not - didn't even watch the one that starts off with a Buddha like figure, paused it straight away - I take it that was the offending one?

I don't watch the vids over there. No reason to. But the yogurt guy with the stupid laughing music is the most annoying, along with the vids set to autoplay, but those can be paused.

The only reason I go the record site is to see what fresh testimonials the "marketing department" has come up with. It gives me the giggles.
