Funny...just a bad nickname my stepdad used to call me, "Who do you think you are?" "The F****** Queen of Sheba?" Yep, that's me....sassy as ever...
And honestly, as a child I used to think I was adopted and my "real" family was out there somewhere and soon they'd come back to claim me.

Some old-school computer nerds have a system running with the newest windows and broadband internet, but never got rid of the previous 3.11 installation and 56k modem.

Having an old system running a new os might not work smoothly every time so keeping the backup os might come in handy now and then.

When you have a brand new system, you shouldn't even consider installing something like w3.11. I bet it wouldn't even start up.

Yep, I do know who he is and yes, he has dimples (I'm pretty sure at least) and has a killer smile. Really liked him in The Toothfairy. But yes the Scorpion King too where he's playing the serious killer creature and all bad a**. I don't know, I just remember seeing him in an interview or something where his smile just about did me in. Hee, hee. So, do ya think we'll get in trouble with the mods for getting "off topic" in this silly thread? Have to admit, this has been about the most fun I've had on ATS in a while.

If you want a Royal Family Please Please take the UK Royal Family..
You are more than welcome to them..
They still refer to us as Subjects.Yea subjects. May as well just call us objects..
Ublike you we have no Bill Of Rights, no laid down rights..
80% of the land is owned by 10% of the rich farmholders..
Oh yea this is a fine example of modern day slavery..
Be careful what you wish for Fella.. You might just get it..
Regards
Plazmuh

Instead of a king or queen why not get a mascot? They're colorful so children will look up to them too.

Dear Tangled4U,

A King of America? Excuse me while I fall off my chair laughing. You ask for thoughts, so here goes: That is the most absurd and ludicrous thing i've read here on ATS to date, and there is a lot cooky stuff here, so you should be proud!

The UK is not a "better" country because it has a royal family. It's arguable it isn't even a "better" country, but that's another discussion for another thread. The French killed all their royalty an age ago, with it they created the concept of the rights and equality of man. Without that, the US's bill of rights and constitution wouldn't exist.

What the US needs is not royalty, far from it. It needs to get rid of all the corrupt bankers, the way in which the houses are bought and paid for, and more than anything, the arrogant belief the US is the world's police force and should intervene in everything.

Clearly the OP Knows nothing of the royal family, The average brit does not look up too the royal family & the queen does not have 'a little' bit of power, she has lots of worldwide power.

In Reality the royal family are just a bunch of inbred eugenic supporters who can afford such a lavish lifestyle at the expense of the taxpayers (slaves) of the queens sovereign nations.

As soon as i saw the title of this thread i *facepalmed

Not sure I put this in the right spot since i'm still getting used to the rules...Sorry

Anyways I think if we had a family like Kings and Queens with little power similar to England it would go a long way to bringing unity to the States. The closest we had were the Kennedy's and the country was getting used to them as people to look up too.

An amendment to the Constitution to allow a vote for a King of America in name only would bring us together as a people and give us something to focus our energy on rather than just following Brad and the thing he calls a mate.

The King would recieve no benefits from this title and have absolutely no power but he could be sent around the world as an ambassador of sorts to help smooth any feathers that our string of recent Presidents always seem to ruffle.

For nominations we could pick the Bush family or the Clinton family but it doesn't have to be people involved in politics. For example we could elect the Kardashians to represent us.

Thoughts?

I hate you with every fiber of my being.

Don't feel bad, it's a big club. I think there are lot of people that would support your idea and this is why I weep for my species.
