Sure let's have a monarchy in the U.S. A return to the dark ages is just what we need. How about an inquisition too?

As for royalty you can have the parasite Queen we have in Canada occupying our country.

but in US they are straight going into dark ages even without a King man !!!
don't know for Canada .... but it's international anyway ......
neo-capitalism and corporatism are killing your society, Monsanto is killing yourself

you screw the whole world with your banks playing G-d ( forgotten Lehman ?? forgotten subprimes ?? forgotten

news.bbc.co.uk... ??

only for greed all over .... the dark ages are coming because yeah you have no respect for your own society, your own people man ! Nothing to do with Kings !!! but all with RESPECT and RULES that benefit the whole society and nature !!!!

Anyways I think if we had a family like Kings and Queens with little power similar to England it would go a long way to bringing unity to the States. The closest we had were the Kennedy's and the country was getting used to them as people to look up too.

An amendment to the Constitution to allow a vote for a King of America in name only would bring us together as a people and give us something to focus our energy on rather than just following Brad and the thing he calls a mate.

The King would recieve no benefits from this title and have absolutely no power but he could be sent around the world as an ambassador of sorts to help smooth any feathers that our string of recent Presidents always seem to ruffle.

For nominations we could pick the Bush family or the Clinton family but it doesn't have to be people involved in politics. For example we could elect the Kardashians to represent us.

Thoughts?

Are you on meth? Idolization of royalty and government is how we got into this mess.

Why don't we have a king? Read the Declaration of Independence and stop having others do your homework so you can learn the correct context in which to use the word "too".

No, but we have comic book heroes.

A case can be made they are better at uniting the country and the world then Royalty.

Royalty?.... Only Royals we come close to having in America is the Kansas City Royals. I rather just have a baseball team then have actual Royals. Money = Power, Power = To do what ever I say.

A kind queen scenerio coulda worked back when america first was taken from the natives. But, know we have such harsh people a single rulership would lead to dictatorship. Besides all that, Id never ever want a kind or queen as my leader. They are just people who have managed to get into a elite position for many a millinium and their people actually think they are special(er) then others...lolol we are all one equal people. when we realize this is when peace shall prevail...peace

I rarely post, and I hate for this to be one of them ~

Do your homework regarding 'Royalty' . . .

I have to take this post as a joke, since it's quite clear that Tangled4u doesn't know what's going on in the world of royalties.

btw presidents (and any of the 'A'merican government) are jokes too Tangled

The elite rich think they are royalty. We are no better than peasants to them. But I think they would be wise to keep that under their hats. If they were to claim this out right their heads might roll not unlike the French royalty when their peasants finally had enough.

Why king?

Emperor has a much better ring to it.

I nominate Marlyn Manson...that should cause the rest of the world to quirk an eyebrow

so royalty is the answer to the issues in america...what has royalty done to help europe? Tyranny, complacency, crumbling economies....no, royalty is not the answer. the idea is just laughable.

First, it's "look up *TO*". You made this mistake twice. HOW? Jesus, the educational system is clearly broken.

Secondly, you suggested the Bush family? REALLY? May I ask how old you are? Is it somewhere between the ages of 7 and 14? You even recommended the Clintons....dear God.

Lastly, if there ever WAS a King / Queen of the USA and they held no power, what use would they be?

Monarchy in ancient times was supposed to be a bloodline of divine lineage which is why many stories surrounding royalty avoided slaying them. It was out of fear of divine wrath.

Since we're no longer living in medieval times, and divinity itself is now a questionable belief, it should stand to reason that all monarchies should be ended, and made plainly obvious that even England's own monarchy are nothing more than regular people, born into wealth and influence, with the stigma of their bloodline being their only real caveat.

One further thing to add.....royalty CAN NOT exist in america. It is against the constitution. what you are advocating is a takeover of america by the 'elite'.

Even if royalty did solve the issues in america (which history proves it wouldnt, it would only make them worse), it would no longer be america, and therefore, your premise is wrong.

Are you mental??!!!
Was your nation not formed due to unjust royal taxation on the colonies??
did you not fight a revolutionary war?? second thoughts, seems almost ideal for you guys, due to the fact that we brits shell out millions and millions of pounds in( welfare) taxes, just so they can swan about the globe, patronising natives like self sanctified mugs, like some kind of galactic heros, when there nothing more than inbred half baked loons.

make then commander in chief too,and you have a perfect union.

If your an American Citizen you should be "arrested" for treason. The problem with America is the fact that idiots are idolozing other human beings. Americans should look up to Doctors, Teachers(most teachers should be fired and replaced with people worth looking up to), firemen, mechanics, engineers, dentist's and other hard working decent folk.

People like the Kardashians, Clintons, Rockefellers and other anti-American families should have their asset's seized and given a one way ticket to Euro-Land.

Being British I couldn't disagree more, NOBODY I know has any respect for them or for that matter sees any point in them other than tourism, and we have some lovely historic sights and sweeping rural vistas for that! Oh and did you not hear about the week of rioting that swept through several of our major cities? Unity? I think not ...

yea, no. We do have royalty. It's called movie stars. And they blow.

As to your royalty across the pool, they aren't so great. And a rightful man ought to look to himself and his fathers to see how to act, not the ineptitude of oligarchy.

Wrong nation.

United States was built as an anti-monarchy society. Read the Declaration of Independence.
