What makes you think anyone looks up to the royals in any country?
I'm from the UK, and despite the postcards of corgis, and the royal 24hr alcohol binge (sorry.. wedding )

The majority of us think the royals are a bunch of scrounging unelected spongers...

We only care about the royals, if whatever they are doing in their uninteresting, pathetic lives gives us a bank holiday!!!

Why is this a problem? Royalty is merely a figure head in any modern day country. Our royalty is considered to be the presidents family.

Err... you know (from a british point of view) the Royal family are not really somthing that the general masses look up too and infact see them as a financial burden on the state.

And im well aware people may argue about.. tourism.. business... even just ties to other countries they bring, but absolutley the bad out weighs the good!!

and anyway... why not just vote Obama then

he's going to be the ruler of the Empire soon anyway

I think this is a great Idea we need royalty to look down upon and spit on.
