Yes, well I guess some feel comforted by bugs.

And some feel comforted by telling themselves that it is an alien spacecraft, no matter what the terrestrial explanation really is.

Agreed. Now let me posit an interesting hypothesis...
Something original and looked over...
It's a moth

Although this thread is highly absurd I did learn some things
1) How to become a high level contributor quickly
2) Making ridiculous claims in defense of your thread incites a circular discussion, gaining notoriety
3) If someone disproves what you post, just post more in hopes that nobody will read their perfectly logical and obvious debunking on the very first page

Thanks OP

Jack,

I just joined ATS yesterday, I wouldnt know.
I dont know Jack.

Jack, please discuss the topic, not me, what you think of me, or the other contributors.
Maybe its a flying troll! Have you considered that?
I mean I know you think its a moth, I think you have said that like ...how many times?

Did you see the video of the moths, would you like another moth video?

Oh and thank you Jack.

I have many times over. See #2 of my post. That's what has happened. In fact, I've made this very statement several times as well.

Circular discussion is circular

Your questions agree with my point exactly. Every single UFO is a quick flyby. How convenient and is the only consistent pattern of UFO's,,,,,mmmmm. These UFO's are as insecure as a high school girl with her face filled with pimples ..So the ONLY way for an authentic UFO moment is when the dam thing just sits close enough ,above a well known city, and everyone is looking and filming with there own cell phones. Only then will (any)Government have a very hard time explaining what is going on.

But I for that ,,would NEVER want that day to come. Not because it wouldn't be cool but because it wouldn't end well. Nothing good or productive will come out of an actual visitation.

I am not ignorant to think there isn't intelligent life out somewhere in this magnificent infinite universe. I get it. But I do also know that to travel ultra vast distances one has to do two things(or either or) : travel in "light speed" or with "worm holes",which both are theoretically impossible OR they(ET) have defeated aging and are literally immortals and can travel endlessly for a billion years(with no worries)(just refueling).

Either way any intelligent being that can accomplish that will have a massive "GOD COMPLEX".

And we all know too well what happens when someone thinks they are some what god-like. Hence the roman times.

The whole scenario is just not healthy.

We need to be the first to stop aging and only then could we be aliens.

All this UFO video crap is just that ,,,crap. Meaningless crap.

No thanks on another moth video. You know full well what this was and you played your hand well. good job on snatching up those stars and flags. In all honesty, your new thread is much more my speed and I'll be in shortly with what will likely be a much more positive attitude.

So your take on this is rather selfish? Your malfunction seems to be based on jealousy. You yourself mention "stars and flags." Come on fella, what's your story?

A bug. A moth flying around the camera

interesting, however to debunk you, if you study the image more closely you will notice that the light fades slightly in the horizon, as if it were behind trees or something and then shoots back up. It followed a straight horizontal line, and just happened to be right on the horizon where lands meets sky.

However, to debunk YOU, it is a moth or a bird or something much closer to the camera. The "fading" you are referring to is the moth flying out of and then back into a light source.

Is everything an alien spaceship to all you knuckleheads? How about going to a park or something once in a while and get a taste of reality.

It's so sad that the threads that garner the most posts are ones featuring umbrellas on porches, and moths.

If nothing else, utilize some common sense. It's a bug.

You are welcome verily, but I hope it isn't too much to ask of the NBC affiliate, there has to be a stream somewhere someone can encode, especially with the vitriol those attempting to debunk the thread are tossing about ever so nonchalantly without any more hard evidence as we have who'd like to learn more.

I've grown up reading tales of abduction and sightings. All the classics if you will. It's just been one shame after another. Barney and Betty Hill admitting a hoax, Billy Meier enrapturing my young mind and then taking a crap on it, etc. I've been a lover of this sort of thing for years. I've continued to read, study, and watch the UFO lore on a pretty consistent basis. Letdown after letdown after letdown ad nauseum. It's just become instantaneous with me to pick out a fake based on the (insert massive number here) videos I've seen. Not to say this is a deliberate hoax or anything. The object is almost certainly real and the footage does no appear altered in any way. The source is reputable. So we can pick apart the content without further distraction. It took me many years to get to this point. The point where I feel confident in definitively saying what's what.

Based on my military experience, I have no reason to believe we are being visited by extraterrestrials. I always wanted to believe but after constant fakery, my belief was receded some. Don't get me wrong, it would be the height of arrogance and stupidity to claim we're the only ones in the universe. There's just not a chance that's the case. What I'm getting at is, based on what I know and what I've seen, that these craft are ours entirely. I suppose what I'm hinting at is an upcoming thread by me, on disclosure of sorts. Not disclosure of exotic alien races, but disclosure on the fact that I was in the Air Force and I've witnessed certain things. Things that lead me to believe these craft are 100% Earth based. To be more precise, American.

Looks like one of those Spotlights stores/movie theaters use to gain public attention.

Could be a UFO but the above is one of many excuses they will be able to use.

The only problem I see with it being a bug is its change of direction relative to the horizon. It appears to dive and then adjust direction so as to move horizontal to the ground before again ascending. Maybe it was just luck that it changed direction when it did but seems a bug might have continued past the horizon.

Any of you statisticians out there care to give us the odds on that so-called "bug" being able to swerve abruptly, exactly on the horizon line, far off in the distance?
That moves the critter theory down in possibility, imho.

JustADream and I are thinking alike tonight...genius!
