Im sure you will tell us your own opinions after the experts make up your mind for you.

Your rudeness is really not called for.

Yes...I will make up my mind after people who know about valid film weigh in on this video...there is nothing wrong with that. It will still be my own personal opinion.

You are very condescending ....proud of that?...I'm just saying.

I'll explain it in a more simple way. No its not 10 or 100. It has to be the majority of a metropolitan city. For example Dallas. Dallas has one of the biggest airport hubs in the U.S. Surely if there is a UFO: everyone including pilots ,people in the control tower, ordinary people in planes . Also people driving in the street. People in suburbs, condo buildings etc.... I'm talking about an event affecting the whole city. Not 10 or not 100 . Its has to be many ,many more. And especially people that are creditable that have a lot to lose. And most of the people that have a lot to lose won't say anything unless there is an obvious amount of people disclosing the same thing.

One or 5 or 10 (separate or together) eyewitness accounts are pointless. Because the "debunker" could always make a case against you. Its just not enough. And don't take my word for it,that's how government sees it. That's why they will never have the pressure to disclose 1% or 70% of the truth. They wipe there rear ends with some lady or dude coming forward about something they saw or if 70 people saw a flying saucer. What's 70 people. That's nothing.

Its all really a waste of time for people to discuss "what's this " on a video or photo. Or contemplating what john doe saw last night.

It has to be a huge city where all walks of life were affected in an unbiased way.

For example we all unfortunately saw on tv and in real life 911. We know it happened because so many people from all walks of life saw it. So the government has to explain what happened(in detail). (Its an example so don't get me started on 911, go to another thread for that)

This appears to be the pattern of a large spotlight as it seems to following a set path through the sky. Let see how long it takes the experts to give us an explanation. Personally, I don't see this turning out to be anything of real interest.
I'm a well-founded believer and this doesn't really fly. No pun intended.

Is this the camera that got the shot? On google earth I looked to see where I 30 was in relation to the Omni Hotel in Ft. Worth. You would need a view looking to the west/ southwest. There is no direct view from this hotel straight up I 30. It is running east west but the hotel is a way north of this road so the camera would see it off to the left. This closeup of the hotel roof shows what looks to be a camera but I cannot get any closer to see for sure. It is on the southwest corner of the hotel.

I cannot connect the link. In Google maps look for Omni Hotel on Houston St. Ft Worth Tx The "camera " is on the southwest point just above the dark glass windows. (Resturants I believe) Select satellite view and zoom all the way in. Use the direction arrows to move up the side of the building.

Most UFOs ever seen have been described to be taking almost impossible perpendicular turns in an instant. This mysterious object did just that.

Bugs do that too.

Spot light looks like its source is UP. Facing down? Like from a plane ? This light shoots down toward the horizon then makes a 55 degree turn and heads back up again. What is the location of the light source?

That is the most foolish comment I've seen in a UFO thread, quite possibly. Are you serious?

Oh yeah.. An alien craft couldn't possibly have that kind of technology to zip across at those speeds. I've never heard of that or seen that before [/sarcasm]

Reality check, bugs don't illuminate THAT much, and leave the kind of trail it does, you can see it behind the clouds. You can discount this thing for any reason, whatever. But to discount it because of how fast it was going is absolutely hilarious..

Hmm looks really like UFO. It's not a bug of any kind, because this camera don't have any lights. If lights would be close to camera, they would have to be directed upward. It's not a good idea as camera would have a slight glare on lens. But it's only speculation, it could still be an ordinary bug.

It could be a light several feet behind the camera.

In fact, someone posted a picture of the building's rooftop on which this camera sits, and sure enough there are lights on that rooftop.

So at what time during any given day would every one in the city of Fort Worth or Dallas or any city be looking up at the same point in the sky at the same moment? An event that lasts for a minute might not get much attention. A good number of people in a city probably wont see it. You would need an event of some duration so that people could call people and say hey look out your window, or go outside and look in such and such a direction. You would need an event of a long enough duration so that MSM could get their cameras out there and their reporters on the streets. Thats some event and Guess What? Thats the event all Ufologists are waiting for. In the meantime we need to make due with these flybys. I dont dismiss the existence of aliens. Their existence makes more sense than their nonexistence.

Not only that but it does not look at all like anything in that camera view is more than 10 of 15 miles away. Its not a telescope its a camera.

I believe this sums it up perfectly:

Fast forward to 30 seconds.

I don't post this video in a frivolous manner, it is a humorous look at the problem we face with the OP video. Is the object small and near the camera or somewhat larger and further away. Unfortunately there is absolutely no way to tell so I'll keep my opinions to myself on this one.

What is the shadow being cast upon? Mist in front of the camera? I refer to the area where it appears that the light source goes behind the clouds clearly seen on the horizon. An insect close up to the camera that appears in your estimation to be darkened by a shadow cast by the camera would require two things. One, said light source and two, something upon which the camera has suddenly cast it's shadow. Thank you.

Who is a "Believer"? You should read my last post carefully.

I'm merely being a critical thinker, you can't prove its a bug and the believers can't prove its a Saucer.

So its a UFO.

Critical thinking. Yes.

We all have seen bugs fly in front of our porch light. This looks just like that -- a bug flying in front of a porch light. Can I prove it's a bug? No...of course not. I would probably need to have a clear hi-res view of the object or have possession of the actual object to "prove" it was a bug.

However, using my critical thinking skills, it looks exactly what a bug looks like. We can all agree that bugs flying in front of a light is not a terribly uncommon thing, therefore it seems very likely that this is just a bug. Can I be 100% sure that it isn't a bug? No, but not able to be 100% sure about one explanation does not mean that EVERY other explanation is equally plausible.

If I see a video of a quacking, waddling, web-footed waterfowl with a long flat bill, I may say it's a duck, although someone else may contend that it COULD be a pigeon that someone disguised to look like a duck. I suppose that without anything more than the video I couldn't prove that it was a duck, but my critical thinking skills tell me that my explanation is more plausible that the "disguised pigeon" explanation.

I have the advantage of looking at this in HD, recorded from line prior to being broadcast. I have just spent some time looking over the clip with one of my co-workers, and he is convinced it is a bug. Looking at it, I want to agree with him. He has been on the building and though there is no lighting for camera, there are lights in various places on the building, not to mention you cannot rule out someone being on the building with a light of some sort.

Is there anyway you can verify your identity, or verify your access to a
high definition version of this clip?

Yeah fella, now its time to put up or, no, no, I will behave. But not really kidding. Now we need source material so how 'bout you post that HD? My puter is connected to an HD TV so I get reeeeeeeal good pictures. I would like to see so I can back your findings or not as the case may be. The clouds my friends...that's the mysterious part of the vid now isnt it?
I realize this posts to burn the ships but it is intended for Fullblast.

As the old saying goes:

"If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands."
Douglas Adams

Watching the video shows ballistic motion that has been affected by density of air. In other words, it's a duck (of course not literally a duck but you get my meaning.) The "object" does not merely go off at 90 degrees to its previous trajectory, it appears to "pull up" in a fairly normal fashion.

There is no doubt it is an interesting video but the data is simply not there to answer the question.

I think we'd all like to see the HD!

I've stayed out of this discussion, because of the poor quality of the video so far.

that was cool... but what good is a 1.1 trillion pixel camera if it doesn't start getting this stuff... and for being a media station shouldn't those be at least HD cameras... haha... but you can see it hit the brakes to make that turn... so i'm thinking military! the way it decelerates and changes direction looks mechanical since it is a gradual slow down and after the turn it's as if somebody punched it....

.... if we were working on a stealth fighter in the 60's ... imagine what we're doing now that is top secret... there's an an old airforce base over there along with a weapons depot... now they use it for a reserve station... after the roswell incident they did stop in fort worth first.. what would be a better cover up than a military reserve base... you could get all of the personnel in there with out looking suspicious....

Right. From what I know and I am not an etomologist just an observer of life in my garden and a possesor of some knowledge reading about bugs in general, I know that moths and other nocturnal insects are attracted to the light only so they can orientate themselves to the ground. Its a kind of confirmation of where they are in relation to plants or other things that may be a food source. So the insects would not need to climb that high especially in that it takes them far far away from the ground and food sources, I think that they would not be up that high. There could be insects up there from possible garbage from the resturants that appear to be directly below this camera but that would require dumpsters or garbage collection centers on the roof and that does not make sense for collection purposes.
