Does it really matter? First,, if it is a bug ,none of us are bug specialist nor do even know what type of bug it is ,nor do we know the distance the bug is from the camera .

Second,, how does any body know this video hasn't been altered? Are we all that naive to believe someone else's word.?

Its actually ridiculous that this video is even considered a UFO let alone a bug .

It does not move at that angle. Find more clear footage on Hulu or something. It swoops down from overhead and moves to the upper-right. It is not a clean, instant break as it appears on this doctored and blurry video. Stop reaching out for paranormal explanations. I highly recommend you read through this thread as this video has been proven unequivocally and without a doubt to be that of a moth. There is not question about it. The information was lost pages upon pages ago in the deluge of ignorant and hasty posts by those who were to lazy to get caught up on the matter.

And for those of you brilliant scientists that insist this is something on the horizon that is glancing off the atmosphere, you couldn't possible be more wrong. If we were to assume that this object is in fact on the horizon (which in better video you can CLEARLY see that it's not) then it STILL would not be anywhere near the edge of the atmosphere. Earth's atmosphere extends some 62 miles straight up. This object is very obviously well within that border and very much subject to Earth's magnetic forces. It couldn't possibly escape. Mostly due to the fact that it's a flying bug.

Please stop the idiocy.
Please read through the thread before posting your nonsensical analysis.

Everything that could be said has been said.

I cant believe the amount of opinions and attempts to dubunk this is a BuG or Moath
Thats a Joke, man if You remove your barrier from believing things You just Cant Explain

You would know this IS NOT A BUG, The video clearly shows how the Light Dims as it enters the Fog area
then Lights up as it leaves the Fog Area when it SHOOTS back UP into Space

Is Not infront of the Camera, is Far away, If it was a bug, you could easly reproduce it
or have similar footage, But WE DONT.

This is Straight an Advance Anti Gravity Ship, either Alien or Man made

this is Straight Evidence in front of every body eyes

but people will always find the most Stupid Excuses

Lets DO a VOTE

Come on, Lets Vote, who thinks is a Bug, and who Thinks is an Advance Technology Craft

I Bet only 20% think its a bug

Hmmm looks like nothing but a light attracted bug zipping into the light cone of a directional light fixed behind the camera, becoming illuminated as it enters frame, then leaving the light cone (as it fades its moving further from the camera and out of the lights cone) then coming back into the light cone and zipping off camera...

And by light cone I mean what you get with most directional light sources like electric torches where there is a perceptible zone where the light illuminates objects which projects from the bulb and reflector.

To think this is a UFO goes beyond stupidity... for examples go outside at night with a torch shine it straight up and wait from some bugs to come investigating, or just look at a security light on a porch at night.

Someone probably already said as much, but im surprised some people still cling to the hope its a UFO ziping off and back to the horizon...

It's not a bug. As I have begged and pleaded for at least the 30th time now, please read through this thread. There have been multiple examples of this posted many times over. Just stop, you're embarrassing yourself. And also for the 30th time, please cite your sources on your claims.

ETA: See, even I'm getting brainwashed into this and mis-posting if you will.
This IS a bug
IS a bug
IS a bug

What I really meant to say is that this thread was really over in the first few pages. It's been cycling itself back through again and again.
Stop.
Rewind.
Play.
Ad infinitum

i've watched this over and over, it is impossible to know for sure what it is. the bug theory might be possible but i don't see it, it does not look like a bug to me. but i could be wrong and i accept that but in my opinion i do not think it is a bug.

i thought it could be two shooting stars burning up on the atmosphere, both appearing at around the same time and flying in opposite directions. but i am not sure.

it could be anything, claiming it is a bug and then saying end of story is just as speculative as any explaination anyone can come up with that kind of matches, it does not mean it must be the correct answer.

Meteors do not behave in this fashion. It's way too far into Earth's atmosphere. This fact has been posted several times over.

For the 458588th time, I ask everyone to please at least skim through the thread before posting and restarting this thread over and over again. We've been over this. We're past it.

Now THIS is a post I can get on with. Watching right now. It's there sure as $h!%. Now we can see if it's a speck of dust, a blimp, or whatever. Please nobody make a wild leap to the supernatural. If someone can record this, it might make for a much more interesting thread.

ETA: First impression, it's a water droplet.

i simply gave my opinion. i do not think it was a bug and flirted with the idea it could be a shooting stars. that was my opinion. edit to add: i did not say one shooting star either i said two, flying in opposite directions around the same moment, i think it matches, i just cannot decide if they are, i am unsure.

then i made a point.

the point is, it does not matter what people think it is, there is no way to know for sure what it is. they are all just possibilities.......not facts. trying to make one possiblity stick does not mean it is/was the correct answer.

hi SpringHeeledJack,
there are always other possibilities, ...IMHO.

LIGHT can behave in strange ways...
not to mention the way that cameras actually collect the light coming into them...
and not to mention the human eye / brain issues (another story)..

eg:
- atmospheric refraction...???
it is a possibility...

that may have been a meteorite, or a car headlight or any number of other things,
that have bounced thru clouds / moisture / temperature changes etc,
and appear places they are not...

possibly even gravitational lensing? but rather more improbable...

just throwing ideas out there...

i would still like to see more BUG footage from the same camera...for comparison...

until then...unsolved... IMHO...

This was recorded. The human eye has no role in this.

I press the bug issue so hard because if I waver, that will be attacked. I can concede though that there is no way to be certain what this was. By how it behaves though, we can be certain of what it is not. A camera is a camera is a camera and as I've stated exhaustively, these examples have been shown in this thread repeatedly. Nobody has access to this exact camera. We have tried with no success. I urge you, as I have others, repeatedly, please find the higher quality video on Hulu or elsewhere. The nature of the bug is MUCH more clear.
