Could it be that the camera was indoors and pointed out a window? I didn't really see any explaination of the actual camera set up.

If it is indoors, then a light could have reflected off of something in that room, that streaked across the window, making it appear that it was in the sky?

I guess if there are logical explainations, not paranormal, we'd have to go with the logical explaination.

Regarding the OP's video, I said it's probably a bug because it looks exactly like what I see when a bug flies in front of a streetlight or my porch light.

I can't speak for why the others say it's a bug, but in my case it's this simple:
It looks like a bug ===> So I say it's probably a bug.

Ok I got them to put the HD clip on the NBCDFW website. It is better, you can tell by comparing the edges of the graphics, though am not sure if resolution was changed getting it to the web. Took quite a bit of work getting it from one piece of equipment to the web. Sorry about the delay.

I was looking around at the weather to see if I could rule out an object moving behind a cloud. If the video was shot on Monday the 25th, the weather in Fort Worth was partly cloudy.

Note the following is using the low quality footage:

After further analysis the object does not move behind cloud in any form.

It is visible in all frames from where it starts through to where it leaves.

Where it "disappears" in the dark version of the video, it is either going out of focus, or going out of the light source - but it is not going 'behind' anything.

For those who can, invert the video colors and watch. You can clearly see it drop in, turn and zip off.

What's also interesting to note is that in the final frames, it appears to be lit by a light source UNDERNEATH (camera).

Whereas to begin with it appears to be lit by a light source from BEHIND (camera).

If that is the case, it is moving over quite long distances, not just a few feet - unless there is some really funky positioning of lights on said tower.

It's a strange bug. But every time I watch it inverted I see a flying saucer

I fully believe we cannot access this or further details are not being released because if those things happen, we'll deduce very quickly what this is.
They want to drum up speculation to get more ad revenue for their website imo.

Based on what? what are your reference points? How far away is it from the camera actually?

How did you estimate that speed? You do realize that this is recorded in time lapse?

A bug in front of the camera would appear in a single frame in a time lapse video, not continue in a straight line for several frames..

It does look like a meteorite, because the time lapse recording would break up the appearance of the trail. And yes meteor hit Earth at around 20-40 thousndd MPH

The problem with the meteor idea is the thing that appears to be going back up.

So it could be a UFO that returns, OR it could be a second object.

In any case in it NOT a bug
