or Use a Program ADD ON from FireFox ! to get that Piece of Information and Use a Program called ADOBE Acrobat to piece it all together in a PDF format

Me personally Ive check the site Footnote! I use it as a TITLE Reference of the One's I am Interested in and
Find another Site ! or Use a PDF Search Engine ! to get it as i see that Footnote is in a way different format and in small sections

Our first hurdle is to find that directory where the images are So far no luck. It may be they are embedded in a database file

For an example of what I mean take the Clementine moon images. One big file in .cub.cz format about 1.5 gigs file size and needs a linux system to open it... but at the USGS planetary mapper you cans scan it and call up a portion of the file for viewing, save that image and its taken out of storage after you log off...

PDF can be converted to jpg or ? using Iview with GNU Ghost script loaded as well - Once converted to image you can sharpen ect, with the hope of better viewing.

Thanks, but are you sure? As I said above, the problem with tools that allow you to download a webpage or entire website is that only a small part of the Footnote.com relates to UFOs.

While I am happy to buy one or more hard drives to download these files, downloading the ENTIRE footnote.com website (as opposed to the capacity needed to download about 130,000 UFO documents) may be rather beyond a realistic goal.

At the moment, I don't see how the surfoffline.com tool could be used to download these documents in an efficient manner.

This program I have used before and it will download every document on that website if you want it to. You can browse it through the program like a web browser or open files individually. Like I said this will do exactly what you want it to.

Maybe the easiest thing to do is grab the whole site or perhaps with selected filters pdf,jpg ect - Sounds like you know which documents types to save.

You could just delete what you do not want, or maybe some one will help you and mail 12 or so dvd to you.

We All Can Appreciate The Cost Involved If Your ISP has a Bandwidth Cap - That would be a " " to wake up and see the total TB! then the average $2.00 fee per GB over the limit OUCH!!

OP maybe see what you are after and divide it up - More then likely many here would be happy to grab several GB for you - That way you will not end up with ten copies mailed to you.

I see links and recommendations to various mirroring tools - GNU WEGET is all command line, probably the best one, but hard to learn on the fly IMO - HTTrack has already been mentioned but here is a link to "exactly what it will and will not do" it appears you can just mirror sections of the original web site and not the whole thing "see example in link" this sounds like the solution you need, however there are limitations and you will have to see which links are broken after the download - It will not grab content off site, nor will it grab content in higher directories, even if they are pointed from the lower original directory.

Anyways hope this "will and will not" description helps you out.

I would seriously consider installing WAMP server on your local pc, then place all the downloads in the public dir for WAMP server, just incase there are some documents that require a server to process. This way you can get everything the way you want.

Just curious if there will be any COPYRIGHT issues for you since it sounds like you are going to place this on your public url..

Right you can save the File as mostly all of them are JPG PNG Files in the Thumbnail Scale
The Enlarge Files is what we really want the problem is is exactly that ! The enlarged files are in diffenrt format so far i cannot location or find the file ! The Picture Viewer on the site ( Footnote ) is mostly an ADOBE Flash Player Viewer what is usually plays SWF FLV Files and im not sure what the Enlarge files Format are but its one at a time thing i hate of Downloading ...

Whether I believe the government is hiding UFO's being aliens evidence or not is a mute point as I just find this comment to be a very ignorant comment.

I don't see how existence of extraterrestrial visitation would in any way need to be held as national security.

The US government owes its taxpayers and voters much. It overtaxes the masses because they don't know how to balance a budget and take moneys from places they should not and then tax the masses to get the moneys back, but then misuse that money and tax even more. The government was put in place by the people for the people and they must answer to the people, whether it be a question about global politics, UFOS, or how much the drapes in the white house cost, unless it somehow can let outside powers hurt the country which they are economically doing themselves anyway, they answer to the tax payers not the other way around.

All any country wanting to take power has to do is wait until the US bankrupts its citizens to the point that they can get no more money from them and as well bankrupt the entire country, which is basically the same thing. Once the US can no longer afford to fund it's military whoever wants to take over can just move on in, or any country we owe debts to can decide to collect those debts and take over the country that way.

If they were so worried about national security why then did they allow 2 planes to fly into the twin towers and let another plane fly into the Pentagon, when it is a known fact that there is supposed to be a defense system around the Pentagon and the white house and any plane entering restricted airspace without proper authorization is supposed to be shot down, even at the expense of civilian live that may be aboard to protect the greater good of the country. If it would have been up to the government the plane that was brought down the passengers in Pittsburgh would have made it to its destination unchallenged by them.

And usually its the military. They have more immunity than GOD. They can tell you whatever they like. But keep trying "taxes= truth" approach. We 'll be here waiting for the great news.

They have an agenda and when they tell us something(o thru tv/radio/internet/movies) its because they need us to be on their page. Which is total brain washing on their part. No, you don't have to buy the BS that is want they want you to believe, and because there are more people willing to go along with that then there are against it it will never change. It is all about changing public opinion and until that happens, it will never change. I am doing my best to change peoples opinions, but a small group is not enough, it has to be the majority, because there is no reason anything should be withheld and once people wake up and realize the people are the ones with the power not the government, the people will be back in control of their country once more.

What you forget is the government's job is to govern this nation. And telling the public about some top secret flying object is governing incorrectly. Yes our government must stop excess spending,create more jobs and balance the budget. Whether its cutting taxes or raising taxes, is anyone's guess(another thread). But answering to the public's(very few) need about UFO's( that's for sure man made) and also exposing Aliens when there is no proof of them other than what we read and watch on movies , is crazy and reckless.

Since we want the alien theory to be true the government realizes that and pushes hollywood to spoon feed you an enormous amount of alien paraphernalia. Which in return keeps us distracted from the bigger picture.


Remember the alien idea started with HG wells(1940's) and it took off ever since. ((I know the sumerians had plenty to say about aliens)). Hollywood has educated us with aliens. You can thank Spielberg for that.

I found a quick download yesterday morning (for most of the pages anyway). But then I made the mistake of looking at them. I found a few bits interesting - particularly some pages relating to classic Canadian pages and one or two other cases that caught my eye - so thought I might as well include some samples in the thread about downloading them. I'm still looking into one or two of the incidents that caught my eye and also typing up some notes on the classic cases. I also would like to find the numbers for the remaining batches. I should finish that thread in the next day or two. (Basically, the images are in batches of consecutively numbered URLs so I used the Flashget download manager's batch download option, with a wildcard for the relevant numbers. In other words, the Canadian files are MUCH easier to download than the ones from the USA...).
