This doesn't strike me as being tied to Anonymous, and if it were I think I would already know about it. Also, Anonymous is THE LAST group that would 'take down the internet'. Net freedoms are one of the tenets of their ideology.

I agree that this is not their style. It could however be the work of some hacker group set to make a name for themselves.

LOL thanks hun we determined it wasn't resident evil related cause they changed the umbrella name to ..... something that starts with a T (but that doesn't mean it isn't a marketing campaign, though they have claimed in the Q&A its not)

That has been posited before a number of times and was one of my first impressions. The umbrella seemed obvious. Could be right though I did not find an actual release date for the game. Could you post a source with the release date?

M'kay.

Did you not listen to it? It does not follow that pattern. Start at 2:22 of the video and listen. you'll see what I mean. Ive been trying to copy down what I am hearing but I don't know the sounds of the numbers well enough to make it all out as it also going faster than I can keep up.

This is what I have so far on the sequence.

1757717577 17758177771777755551555578171818714417844178.....and the rest, my poor slow brain and hard of hearing ears are having a hard time with.

Maybe someone that can speak German can do a better job of it than I have so far

Here's the video again so you don't have to go back

Don't get star envy.

It's not about how many stars a post gets, it's what you do with it.

Taking down the internet is not a crime it is an act of war. The US Fed does not own the internet anymore. The internet, as you may know, was created by the US defense department as ARPANET way back before I got my first 2400 baud modem.

The reason we have an internet is because it is a "routed" network vs. a "switched" network. Telephony has always been switched until the internet came along. The problem with a switched network is that if you break a switch the communication is over. In a routed network the communication packet hits a roadblock and then simply bounces to another router until it finds its way through. Due to poor lines, a routed traffic could take longer so in the beginning it was unreliable for voice commo but good for getting things through eventually. In the past decade, companies have layed bigger and bigger fiber cables to route traffic and now most telephony is over a routed network just like this message I am writing.

However, since most machinery also communicates with networks (especially the financial industry), everything is now subject to being hacked. This is the problem of the new decade. Somebody is going to launch an eNuke. Whether that comes from a government or it comes from a joy riding hacker, it is going to come from somewhere.

So anyway, I digress, the US does not own the internet anymore. Hacking is not a US crime. I am not sure what kind of crime it is. However, taking down the internet is more like an act of war and some of the more anarchist groups probably see it that way anyway since they are in a war with "the man". Some of those folks are around here.

I personally, am more of a watcher. I personally, am prepared to live OFF the grid if necessary since the next World War could certainly have a lot of surprises (like you wake up one day and your bank account is empty and so is the bank account of everyone in your country). That is war. Or maybe if you are lucky you still have your money in your account but no electricity to access it. That is war. That is the kind of war we are headed to. But don't count out good ole old school weapons as well. The kind, you know, that have failed to oust Ghadafi launched by the rag tag group known as NATO.

Good find but I'm not saying I'm convinced that the Jesus Culture Awakening is behind all of this.

Church is based in Chicago -
One of the questions on the Q&A was something about Chicago-land. They said back, Chicagoland? I feel like they deliberately don't answer certain questions.

Also good to note that the speakers at the church thingy have one woman.

And the recruiting of 18K people was obviously a direct hit.

The change forum does begin on 8/3, like the op said.

The child is repeating one through nine and zero over and over, like grade-school rote learning.

Thanks for posting the vid again. I've been with this thread from page 1, but I wouldn't have found it.

Wonder if there's a connection to that?

And they refer to themselves as Tier 1 & Tier 2s in their question & answer sessions;

A tier 1 network is an Internet Protocol (IP) network that participates in the Internet solely via settlement-free interconnection, also known as settlement-free peering.
A Tier 2 Network is an Internet service provider who engages in the practice of peering with other networks, but who still purchases IP transit to reach some portion of the Internet.

Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, or YHF, could refer to a couple of things.

One, it's an airport designation in Canada.

Two, it's a virus. (Google)

YHF!! thats what I was trying to remember (It was the question in morse code, answer was "what about it")

harlot7, is this any relation to the wilco thing?
