Secondly burning and gnashing of teeth sounds like a fair punishment for sin to me.

We who believe, do not do so because we are afraid of death. In fact, we see this life on earth as just one phase of our existence. We believe because spirituality is an innate trait among humans... it is this basic component of human psyche that has led to the formation of religion.. and nothing else.

To draw a co-relation between possessing religious belief and having a fear of death is fallacious.

Ok first off, all of you have great comments....here is the thing though, I truly do believe that we are in fact headed for a ONE WORLD FAITH. Here is why I believe in it. Its almost, or its just as similar as to how the higher powers want to have a ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT. I mean it is true, all these religions and ideas just cause pain, suffering, genocides, murder, I mean to the higher powers, it is going to be a whole lot easier for them to control, if they can just have a ONE WORLD FAITH, or for short OWF. Just as it will be easier for them to rule, if they can have a OWG or ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT. I mean the religion would honestly be, Jewish I think. Just for the matter that this person know as "Christ" was a Jew, so it would only make sense to make the religion for the entire world "Jew" right? I'd think so. All in all, I don't think this idea is to far off. If anything having a OWF would definitely involve some population control, I mean telling people to believe in one thing and that you can't have the freedom to have your own beliefs? There is gonna be some blood shed. But isn't that what the governments would want too? I mean we are starting to become to much for this planet if you think about it, so having a OWF would definitely work in the governments best interest...now for us, I foresee a revolt. Who is with me? Haha I am off on Tues, and Wed I can only revolt on those days.

I had raised a question earlier with regard to "one world faith"...

1. HOW would anybody impose a one word faith upon people adhering to a certain faith for generations dating back thousands of years?

2. WHAT makes you think christians, muslims, buddhists, hindus etc would let go of what they have been following for ages to just take up a "new" religion?

3. WHY would anybody even want to impose such a "one world faith" on people? especially at a time and age when faith (at least in the western world) is taking the back seat to concepts such as "secularism" and "seperation of church and state".

Now, the idea of certain powers establishing a "one world government" or a "one world currency" is somewhat feasible as it has practical purposes, with regard to administration and economy (not that I endorse it)... but one world faith?? I dont think so, really.

First of all, Jews are religion not a race and Christ said he is the song of God not the God. No one knows exactly where Moses is from and Christ was not a King of our world but a King in Heaven; under the Emperor Jejovah, our God--Christianity.

Second, of all, not matter what happens to the church... Jesus said, "The Kingdom of God is inside us and all around us."

What do you all believe?

The books in the new testement were written at the times the people who wrote them were alive. At the council of nicea They chose what books they thought were relevant to make one book called the bible to contain all information to Christianity.

like the gospel of mark he wrote 30 odd years after the death of christ for example

God sends forth blessings upon the world but he does not send forth ideas. The awakened ego accepts ideas that come to it, this is what the symbolic Tree of Knowledge - Apple - Eve- Snake - Adam - God myth tells us. The ego was awakened and, very much the parasite, evil gained entry into the sanctum of the soul, the heart. The poison remains in us all, it is mixed in with our blood down through the generations, a river of blood has flowed as shackled humanity succumbed to the most desperate measures to get rid of the curse.
