Well, I'm sorry, not trying to troll or anything, but...

... someone seriously needs to find some REAL proof if this thing is coming. If it isn't, I've nothing to worry about. If it is...

... I need to get on the ball and start committing some major criminal mischief. If not that, I have a lot of girls to hit up before the end, that's all.

Scientifically speaking, at least from what I THINK I know, wouldn't some giant brown dwarf death star actually appear something like a magenta-colored second sun in the sky on close approach instead of apparently having its own insane cloaking device?

First of all, some of your information, as well as your interpretation of that information, is completely incorrect. You are claiming things as fact, as well as drawing from many different happenings, trying to mold them together into some conspiracy that doesn't exist. Then you say the "debunkers" are the ones with a problem?

Let's start with the claim that satellite data will no longer be supplied to scientists regarding near Earth objects. This was true, some years ago, but was subsequently reversed. Not only that, but there was NEVER a large sharing of data, or any official program for such transmission. The military, simply "playing nice," would periodically send out information to a very small percentage of scientists and organizations. They didn't do this because they were required to. And again, they are no longer withholding any data from these scientists, and if you would have gathered data and then made your conclusion, instead of attempting to find data to support your conclusion, you would have realized this mistake.

There are other problems with your "research," which actually shouldn't be called such, that has no foundation. I like how you make a connection between Rex84 and comet Elenin, which has zero basis in fact. I am not even going to waste my time refuting any more of your "claims," mainly because you, and many others, are doing their "research" incorrectly. Quit attempting to find select data to fit your hypothesis, because when you do this you are going to make mistakes.

Instead, gather all relative data on the subject, and draw conclusions from there. It is fine that your hypothesis includes this wacky stuff, but you cannot present a hypothesis as hard evidence. Many do not want to follow the scientific method simply because gathering oodles of data on any given subject is time-consuming and boring. It is much more fun to pick and choose, misquote, and misrepresent select pieces of data to fit a hypothesis that was incorrect from the beginning. Nice try, but next time why not include the research that goes against your ideas, instead of omitting that data and presenting half-truths to the public. And trust me, it DOES exist.

Do you know for a fact this conspiracy doesn't exist? Are you fairly certain of that? Seems you are being hypocritical coming out and saying it's not true, while saying she is wrong for saying it is.

She has given enough information to determine the government has been preparing for a catastrophe. You say there are no facts in relation to the subject... what could these facts potentially be and who can determine the facts? Could it be the people with the most advanced technology available? Ya, I think so. And they won't share anything like this with the public at large!

Even if it was real, even if it was heading straight for Earth traveling at lets say the stupid speed of 2 Million Km/h ( way faster then Comet Halley recorded top speed: 360000 km/hr) it would still take 4681.64 Years to get here..... thats 4.6 Thousand Years.... i say don't worry about it, let it come...

Great idea, but when Nancy Leider started all of this many many years ago, she keeps repeating this doomsday cycle, only to have it moved to a new doomdate. There is tons of evidence on the web of her fantasies, I even linked to a page on page 3 of this thread.

She went through this with Hale Bop etc, it's always the same story till the date comes and goes and we are all still here. Then she makes claims like Oh, the aliens lied to me about it, and other such nonsense. Which leads a reasonable person to ask, if they lied to her all those other times, why should we believe anything she allegedly channels from them, including their rediculous ideas of physics and astronomy? (That have been oh so thoroughly debunked,)

Nancy is somewhat of an internet legend, but posting reminders to threads where you point out this past history of hers seems to fall on deaf ears. It quite simply comes down to the fact that doomsayers will always be a part of life, and no amount of screen shots will change that.

If it did, we wouldn't even be having these types of discussions.

Most likely this ELE will fly past us and not a dam thing will happen . In the event it does hit us , well it's been nice knowing you all

In the mean time , I won't be worrying about it to much as there is not to much I can really do about it .

I suppose that would depend on the event, now wouldn't it? Not in the doomsday scope of things, that is.

Hale Bopp wasn't it, neither is this. Instead, people should be talking about this comet as a wonderous experience, something they will never probably live to see again, and be excited to be witnessing a piece of history that many generations may not have the opportunity to witness.

Being a part of a historical event should be exciting, not frightening. It should be thrilling, we should be teaching our children, so when the day the comet is closest comes, we can excitedly show them, and use it to compell them to develop an interest in science and space. Perhaps if more of this had been done in the past, todays children would not be so frightened of new things that they all panic and go into deep depressions over it.

Perhaps if this had been done more in the past, our president and government would feel our space program was of more use than they apparently do.

I know I have taken the time in my lifetime to witness historical space/comet events, and used it to inspire my children. Have you? I have seen things I will never see again, and that will not be seen for a long, long time again, by human eyes. I was awestruck. As how it should be. Our universe is a wonderful, mysterious place.

I love how you are adding the pieces together. The government, just so everyone knows will not say a word about any of this. Not even when the sky will reflect it's imminent obviousness. We are all sitting ducks and it's just a matter of time. Everything on ATS is done to death, but that doesn't make this less relevant. Wait and see. IT IS COMING, call it what ever you like. The name is not important or the theory of what it is.

Ummm, don't roughly 100% of videos of the sun,............. HAPPEN IN DAYLIGHT?

Of course the government has contingency plans for disaster events. It's ridiculous to think otherwise.
