Lies! Everyone on ATS knows that the constitution only provides for the right to bear arms, the right to refuse to pay taxes, and the right to send death threats to brown Democratic politicians! General Patton would have never writtne "welfare" into the constitution when he invented it! And Reagan and Thatcher, bless their golden hearts, certainly would have never ratified it if he had.

Heh -- you got me. I made it all up to get chicks. Send me to Guantanamo Bay right away for my various sexcrimes, thoughtcrimes, facecrimes and other deviations against the established order. I swear I'll come out a changed man. I'll love the party, and I'll love big brother.

b) People choose to live in hurricane prone areas and do not get the proper insurance. That is their fault and theirs alone. Subsidizing that decision is NOT a function of government.

Yeah like the food belt, the delta, that feeds much of the country. No one should think of living there. Grow up, only children think selfishly.

what we need is a real war , one that will take only the poor and middle class, a war where no one returns home but in a bag, a war with no age limit, so people like hatch will have to pay there share after all, for only then, would there be the rich to tax , have to work , be a slave to one an other, or would that be to much for them?; and they to go home in a bag.

Amazing these anti-human Republican and Tea party conservatives call themselves Christians. You know what Jesus said about a rich man

“A camel will pass through the eye of a needle before a rich man enters heaven”

Here is more:

Prov. 28:27 If you give to the poor, your needs will be supplied! But a curse upon those who close their eyes to poverty.
Prov. 14:31 Anyone who oppresses the poor is insulting God who made them. To help the poor is to honor God.
Prov. 19:17 When you help the poor you are lending to the Lord--and he pays wonderful interest on your loan!
Prov. 21:13 He who shuts his ears to the cries of the poor will be ignored in his own time of need.

Believe me I don’t peddle religion but these people aren’t Christians they are selfishl hypocrites.
They are a disgrace to Christ

The spirit of TRUE religion is giving, loving and helping each other and increasing peace and prosperity for all.

I want for my brother and sister what I want for myself!

Clearly intelligent,

The elites and mega rich run the world, make huge profits(and mistakes), we all know there is enough money and resources in this world to fix most of the problems that that we all face, do we though? no , why not? well because anyone who has that kind of power has there own agenda, keep the game going like it has been for the last 2000 years.

Every little earner must be imprisoned in debt for as many years as possible to allow the financial slavery to continue un hindered and to the benefit of guess who?

Clearly it is time we broke this chain of events, and put a plan in place that benefits most of the world, not just the 6000 people that control the 6.5 billion of us through resources and finances.

So in other words, of course joe bloggs has to pay.

Just my 2 pence worth.

"Maybe your a Democrat, maybe your Republican. You support the people who extort the people under them.
Maybe it's black, maybe it's white, we need to recognize we're all in the same fight. Maybe this is real life, maybe it's a dream. Before the wars and AFTERWORDS as crazy as it seems."

I think it's what Marx termed the false class conscience. In Marxist theory

In Marxist theory, false consciousness is essentially a result of ideological control which the proletariat either do not know they are under or which they disregard with a view to their own POUM (probability/possibility of upward mobility).[1] POUM or something like it is required in economics with its presumption of rational agency; otherwise wage laborers would be the conscious supporters of social relations antithetical to their own interests, violating that presumption.[2]

God yes, its so hard to get a squeegee and start washing windows. Give me a break, minimum wages, unions, government granted business monopolies and entitlements are the issue. Don't give me the BS that the free market is the problem as THERE IS NO FREE MARKET. you wanna see a free market in action? look at a damn flea market or a garage sale. My company is "obligated" to take food stamps for the food we sale, and Im sorry, when a 24 year old girl comes in with 3 kids in tow and buys 60 dollars worth of pizza and wings, she should lose those food stamps for being an idiot, It drives me insane that these people are using my tax money, and I don't care what anyone says EVERYONE pays taxes, are wasting it for 1 night of gluttony instead of buying a large amount food that can be stored for a period of time to feed those entitlement babies. I am not a republican, democrat, liberal, conservative, Christian or tea party member, I belong to no party. I'm a single dad working 80 hours a week to feed my child and I'm just sick of this crap.

I'm going to be very friggin blunt right now, you want everyone to believe in evolution, but you refuse to allow humans to evolve. You want the poor to eat, you feed them, you want them to have free health care, you pay for it, get your greedy little paws out of my pocket. As for me, I do not give the homeless free food even if its going in the garbage, heartless? No, I tell them I will feed them if they clean my parking lot or wash my windows, since I can't hire them since that work is not worth 8 dollars an hour.

Republicans are just like deadbeat dads who don't pay for their kids. They want everything that this country can offer but they don't want to give anything back. And to think we were worried about the Communist in our country.

hey!!! I got an idea!!!
maybe if the rich start paying their poorer employees more money......
those poorer employees would have more to contribute!!!!
this is what eventually happens when you pay so many a pittance of what they actually need to survive, and expect the gov't to chip in and keep you employees healthy, fed, and sheltered!!!

ya, drop the social programs....
I dare ya!!! you'll have all those underpaid employees demanding higher wages, or their their proverty will start interfering with their work!!! not to mention, more than likely you'll be losing quite a few of your customers!

White House staffers just received a raise, didn't they? I think Congress received a raise recently too. There are many ways to cut the deficit without touching soc. security, medicare and medicaid, but the rich crooks in DC won't hear of it.. They are theives.

I support neither greed NOR ENVY. I simply support people choosing how to live their lives. Otherwise, for the good of the world, we must be socially conservative, and force people who don't believe to follow our laws. If it's not acceptable to have that, why is it acceptable to force others to be charitable and strip away economic freedom? Why do we only support one spectrum of freedom in the name of tolerance and totally ignore the other spectrum? I see the hypocrisy inherent in this, so I am Libertarian. Thus, while I may believe that alcohol and drugs are bad, I allow others to do them. Similarly I believe charity is good, but I support people to not be coerced into it.

Add all those 60$ pizza and wing purchases and send the bill to Wall St. It is real easy to pick on the ones we share space with who are "below" us.But not one of you bitter SOB's with the big keyboard balls will say squat about where all our money is really going. Are you all math fails? You can not add the cost of our screwed up foriegn policy and corporate welfare and see where your being screwed? You bunch of big hearted galoots can't see that the fleecing by the top has created the problem at the bottom? WTH is wrong with some of you? Read some damn history before you post your brown nosing to the ones who lead you by the nose.
Not one society has survived the situation we are headed to. Thing is everyne talks about the development of the "welfare" society being a major cause but not one goes into the reasons the welfare society came to be. It is the means to quiet the ones being screwed it is the creation of the ones fleecing the bank to keep revolution at bay for as long as the whole ruse can be sustained. Eventually when the cost of deciet becomes to great the society is cast aside and the poor are cast aside with it. America has been cleaned out. and now the rest of the equation is coming to fruit. I expect a balkanization of the country and a whole new much more third world America that can supply the kind of labor force found in Asia and central America. I expect some to cheer blindly as the ship goes down.

I never cease to be amazed at the crap that comes out the mouth's of our represenatives. i think it is pretty clear that they are traitors to the citizens of our country. Eventually they will have no where to go.

The answer to our debt and tax problems are simple. Tax wealth and not income. A 2-3% wealth tax and a 3-5% revenue tax on corporations would be sufficient to fully fund our government activities at the present time, debt repayments and all.

The idea of using a small amount of our tax money to give a few of our dollars that we earned because of the greatness of the American civilization, is not forcing anyone to do anything.

The preamble to the constitution says " for the general welfare of the country"

What about being forced to give our tax money to military excursions that kill children? Does that bother you, like it bothers you so much we have a social safety net?
That by the way is the worst in the western world.

Libertarian philosophy is pie in the sky and impractical in a post modern society. If you want to be a libertarian moved to the woods and live by yourself.

Also, I was addressing people who claim to believe in Christ and his philosophy, like this stupid fool Senator in the pocket of the rich and powerful.
