It's official. I found proof online that Obama was born in Hawaii just like he says he was. Newspap

I do not see what the big deal is. It is the birth announcement that was listed in the newspaper. No one that I know of has disputed that the birth was announced in a newspaper, but that does not prove that Obama was born in Hawaii.

It actually does prove to every normal person with any sense of logic that if his birth was announced in Hawaiian newspeapers that he was indeed born in Hawaii. To those that just don't like Obama on every possible level (even personal), no proof is enough and never will be.

I don't know, that is a strange looking font for that era, Times Roman is what everybody used back then.

I recall the first time I saw Obama I believe at the Democratic Convention and he was introduced as "Kenyan Born" Barack Obama. I was taken by the young man as a charismatic force for the Dems, but realized he could never be President.

I don't think that it's too uncommon for people to try to insure that their children enjoy the rights and privlages of US citizenship and most would go the extra mile to get those entitlments regardless of their true heritage.
Regardless right now Obma is the president of all 56 states, just ask him.

It's been posted in this thread that the health dept submits the birth announcement at that point in time.
not the family.

I don't remember what page it was on. But it's an enlightening post.

So the birth anouncement comes from the Department of Health and Vital Statistics. This is the same department that can issue a Certificate of Live Birth. If you connect the dots you still end up with the issue that none of this is very strong evidence.

I tired to edit my earlier post out because it clearly belongs on another thread. The software says I am past the 4 hour window to do it.

I'm not sure how I did that. Maybe I had two windows open. Anway, sorry about that!

Deep sigh,

A birth announcement can be placed by 'anyone' with the cash to pay for it.

More convincing proof would be who paid for the maternity care and delivery bills.

Follow the money, or to double check, tax records- those are kept forever.

Deep Sigh,
Explain why this is directly refuted in a post by Southern Guardian on page one of this thread, or are you telling us you're more familiar with the policies of this newspaper than the employees of the newspaper?

You didn't bother to read *all* the thread before posting - did you?

Follow the trail of maternity related bills,
They don't give those services away without keeping some sort of record.

No one seems to have produced that, or who and how the services were paid for.

That’s how you respond to someone who just pointed out the facts contradict your post? You make more allegations and tell others to do some work and research? If you truly believe what you said then you will do this research and present the findings in support of your claim.

Why should anyone take you seriously if you merely make allegations and never present any evidence to back them up, especially when they are contradicted by known facts?

I don't have to prove it. I'm not pretending to be eligible to be president. He is.

Thre are too many sealed records, forgeries, and missing documents.

No. He is President. YOU are the one making claims. Occam's razor says nothing about witch hunts and lies.

Wait.. so you aren't a birther, but you think the conspiracy goes back 40 sum years? (You sound as if you believe the newspaper is genuine) Like he was bred to be president. Barrack Ender Obama.

I have read the thread. Unless I read it wrong. If you go back a few pages.
Someone posted that at the time the announcement was placed in the paper it was by the health dept.
Not by a family member.
Go read a few pages back the quote is in blue.

Well I reread that one post. It seems that the papers had two birth announcement sections.
One sent by the health dept and one that could be placed by families.
If the post is accurate what we see in those images are the announcements placed by the health dept.

It makes sense. If you are placing a birth announcement in the paper you'd put more on there than just the fathers name and sex of the child.

I'd be putting something praising god for the birth of a beautiful baby boy or something more congratulatory.

My understanding of the requirements of the source for birth announcements *precludes* family. Do you not read the same?

I posted here, back on page 3, the link to the Honolulu Advertiser article with the explanation of the policy.

They say announcements from the public ran somewhere else in the papers.

The section where Obama’s announcement shows up, that I highlighted here is titled “Health Bureau Statistics,” indicating the information came directly from the Department of Health.
