What the hell...?

I don't even see the point in this. If a boy is boy call him a boy. Same for a girl. They are what they are regardless of the term you wish to use. This is so strange... What kind of person even comes to this conclusion?

In my opinion this extremely retarded.

I don't like it, It reminds me of when I was on Parris Island and I had to refer to myself as "This Recruit" instead of saying "I". Of course I understood the reason why, as there is no "I" in "Team" and it was to get the platoon to function as a cohesive unit, the whole "break you down and build you up programming" but it was a form of indoctrination, just as it is in the school referred to in the OP.

Judging from your avatar, its would seem we have all been conditioned in some way or another sub consciously to believe there is no "him" nor "her". And as PC as ATS is, Im thinking not many People here would object.

I think it is a great idea, to call each other friends, look outside in the world and see where the old system has got us.

People don't think about others anymore only themselves. We need something new to break the cycle of lack of respect for our neighbours. By calling each other friends builds a sense of unity and might just be that light at the end of the tunnel that humanity needs.

What is this fascination with acceptance? I prefer to NOT be accepted for certain things I do. Maybe that stems from some kind of rebellious inner ego, I don't know, but I would hate to live in a world where everybody accepts everything everybody else does. Are we not to have opinions? Are we not to have bias?

If someone wants to raise their children to see gender roles as nonexistent, good for them. Hopefully they won't turn out too screwed up. But what right is it for the school to decide whether gender roles should be practiced or not? I was under the impression that a school's job is to provide children with information so that they can learn and hopefully enjoy learning. Knowledge is supposed to be provided in school. How is deliberately leaving out gender-specific words such as "him" and "her" teaching? How is that providing knowledge? It's not. It is withholding knowledge. Those are incredibly simple terms that children can understand, even if only on a superficial level, and they will be less intelligent by not being taught this. What books could they read? I've never seen a book in my entire life (though I haven't read them all, but you get my point) without the words 'him, her, he or she' in it. These concepts would become far more complex than they should be because the child would have to ask parents/look up in a dictionary the definitions of these words. Just seems like a bunch of nonsense to me.

Another thing: why do we want to get rid of masculinity and femininity? I'm a man. I love women. I don't want a woman who acts like a man. Yes, there are always exceptions to the rule. Some women are masculine and 'tomboyish' just as some men are feminine. Why try to blur the line so that 'male' and 'female' no longer have any meaning? If something like this caught on, I see it heading to a place where we are all little more than machine-like androgynous clones of each other.

PC Crap has ruined everything so much that we are criminal if we tell an off-color joke these days.

Gonna confuse these poor kids so much that they'll have a panic attack when it comes to identifying the right door in a washroom when they're not in school.

Had not considered my avatar. My intention was purposeful in that it is to keep people guessing on a conspiracy forum. Also my username. Maybe I need to change it to something more blatant? i think everone picks a username and avatar that suits them.

It is impossible to tell we have all been condtioned in some way or another from a sexless walking robot avatar.

Maybe though there is some sort of subconscious connection somewhere, but I do not think that avatar is the connection

You have not seen these "sexless" avatars around the Web in multitudes?

I just think its ironic for a Person posting their concerns about what is being taught in school in regards "him" or "her" coming from a Person with such an avatar.

what is your motivation behind such? Why do you want People to be guessing? Is it because you dont want sex being an issue of focus, but what you have to say the issue?

That is "some" of the same reasoning for eliminating "him" and "her" from the vernacular so that a Persons sex is not the issue.

To be quite honest, I don't support this, and I don't support the current teaching method.

1 monkey standing around telling 20 other monkeys facts that it is rambling off a piece of paper worked when we did not have computers and is very ineffective because 19/20 of those monkeys have questions but are afraid to ask.

A new revolutionary teaching method was created online, and entire public elem/high schools are using it to teach now.

It is KHANacademy.org

Its totally free, you don't even need an account, but it has every single concept you get taught from k-12 in video form with like a web of what is next and what was before, and as a teacher all you would have to do is get everyone on the website and monitor them from your computer, you can track which kids are struggling by how much time it is taking them to answer questions and help them, or if you are at home you can actually get help from a stranger online, you get like these points for tutoring kids online im not sure what they get you but yeah if i would of had it 5 years ago I would not of dropped out.

Actually when I look at your avatar the first thing I am reminded of is communism.

Hope that reveals my point enough for you, without taking this in another direction.

No it does not. My avatar is abstract with do definition. I know this because I made it. Your avatar means something by its obvious lack of sex.

You could have put anything up, but you choose a depiction of a sentient being that is sexless.

What was your motivation for doing so? Is it similar to the motivation of the Schools in some way?

Have you ever wondered why the popular meme of sexless avatars arouse to begin with? There is a reason.

And if you cant deduce why my questions relate to what is being taught in school, then you have already proven to me some of my statements are true in regards to the sub conscious effects that the schools, governments, etc, and their agenda, are having on us all.

I have already given you the reason why I have used my avatar.

I perceive your avatar to remind me of communism. Does not make you any less of an anon poster on this forum. It is my perception only.

I am an adult and I choose to use my avatar for my reasons. IE username Guessing. You can't see that?

There is a big difference between adults making choices and children being brainwashed

Pre school children are children.

Maybe there is some irony in my avatar and this thread, but I can assure you if there was a relationship it is coincidence only.

i agree with you... its part of the so called "gender mainstreaming" makes it easier to sell the same crap which is sold to women, to men... perhaps also a more sinister agenda is at work

Ok, you are right. Why worry then about Children being brainwashed, because when they become adults it leaves them. As if to say being an adult makes one immune to it. And Im sure since you are an adult, brainwashing was not around when you were a child either.

So why worry then. Once they grow up everything will be ok.

Oh and thanks for having a reasoning debate with me, loved it.

I am unable to debate you , because I agree with where you are coming from.

I am worried about children being brainwashed, thats why I posted the thread.

I did not imply that brainwashing leaves children when they become adult. Nor did I suggest that I was brainwashed as a child and am not brainwashed as an adult.

I disagree about your assumptions of my intent to use my avatar though, but that is a seperate issue.

So whats really on your mind?

Encouraging respect is not going to be achieved by weirdly refusing to acknowledging different sexes to soothe some sort of deep seated mental issue
