wow those cops just left their buddy. Never would have happened in America....mostly because we have guns and the crowd wouldnt have gotten that far lol

but really awesome how people can stand up for an injustice, even though the guy getting beat was a D-Bag who ran onto the field during a soccer game.

In America everyone would just whip out their cellphones and start recording/ tweet/ facebook. Bryan Stow anyone?

Anybody who runs on the field during a sporting event deserves everything they get. It's not like the cops went up into the stands and beat this idiot down. Soccer fans worldwide are unruly pack savages anyway. This is why this sport will NEVER catch on in the US.

Ewwww, that is so shallow. You should be ashamed of the extent of your logic.

So I guess what you're saying is...

The entire justice system is wrong?

Imprisoning someone against their will = wrong, no? I guess we should stop putting people who kill other people in prison because "two wrongs dont make a right"

Or were you just trying to protect your buddies on the force?

Good for a while. Police has to learn that he has limits and this the the people who decides. It's a good kick for add reflexions.
But don't forget : hatred vs hatred=more hatred.

Great way to get shot. Just saying.

In certain circumstances it is worth getting shot if it means standing up for what is right. That being said, I dont believe this was one of those cases, haha

The cops may have deserved a wake up call, but the fans took it too far IMHO. My ego wanted to jump in and lend a hand to the cop who was getting the crap kicked out of him. My brain was screaming "He gets it already!" though, if I were physically there, I know I would have remained an onlooker.

Really? Ever heard of the saying "the punishment should equal the crime"?

From what I saw the dude just ran into the field during a game. It would have been enough if those cops escorted him out of the stadium. It did NOT warrant a beating with a baton.

Those cops got what they friggin deserved.

Well, perhaps it's true that two wrongs don't make a right, like others have said... the fallacy being, of course, that violence in and of itself is *not* wrong. Sometimes it's thoroughly deserved, and that was definitely one of those cases.

Yep..this is what they"the wannabe elite)are afraid of!

Can you see why they would want to cut down the population?

Great post (if a little dated).
On the subject of giving cops a beating if they abuse the power we gave them, yes!. Damn right,
It was too late to save This person
One day all cops & military will have to answer a simple question; Either you are with us, or you are with the government...the same kind of choice Bush Jr. offered the rest of the world
If you are in it just for the gratuitous violence, you will recieve plenty of that, too

Hell yeah, everybody in the stadium gets one free kick to the head to each cop once he's down on the ground, and that's justice to me.

That one pig wasn't moving very much at the end. I guess he stayed behind because he was the braver (stupider) of the bunch. Take him away, officers!

S&F. I would love to see more of this. I think many of us would. Very encouraging. Thanks for posting!

In related news this cop who shot a guy point blank killed himself this week. Alvin Weems, the cop, denied at first and then later admitted he shot the guy in the head. Family awarded 12 million and the appellate court reversed that. The city agreed to 3 mill.

You have to take into account how stubborn the mentality of cops is. If he didn't get such a beating he would probably go out and try to instigate it again some time just so he could gang up on somebody in some street alley and get revenge. In fact they probably all went on to do just that anyway. So I have no pity.

You are aware the reason why those people are protesting in this video, right? WE all need the police, and comparing the nazi's with today's police is a person with zero intelect and has no idea of there own surroundings. Your clueless.

You sound like a good police officer.

The ones I have met in our town when my oldest son was going through a rough spell in his teens (I still haven't recovered my sanity from that period and that was 30 + years ago) anyway, our policemen were the finest, they were nice, polite, professional and even though my son was a pain they treated my husband and I with the utmost respect, one even saying "I feel for you, your decent people, some kids are just pain in the arses, he'll grow up out of it I'm sure cause your good people"..................well bless this policeman because even though we had to commit our son and take out a second mortgage to do, so we did get our oldest son straigtened out.

Another story on good policemen.

It was two o'clock in the morning (everyone asleep) and my youngest son came into our room, telling me the policeman said for me come outside now because our garage was on fire and close to our house.

A policeman had been driving by on patrol and saw our detached garage on fire. He called the fire department, got my husband out of bed and in short because of his quick action saved our house, we only lost our garage...............again it was my oldest smoking in the garage and he had dumped a half lit cigerette in the trash bin.

(Our oldest was really a pain to raise).

Not all police are bad, there are many good ones..............but keep in mind, at sometime, with the way our governments are going each and everyone of us will have to choose whom we really serve.

Would you simply do anything to "follow orders"? That is the big question and everyone in law enforcement, security and the military should really think on that one question............at what point do you "not follow orders"?

I would guess in your case, by your post, you seem like a good person and are a decent human being with conscious, someone deserves to pat you on the back. I wouldn't want your job.

Now I don't know if COPS is a real reality show or staged, my youngest likes to watch it and it makes me very nervous just watching some of the dangerous, obnoxious people the police have to deal with on a daily basis............my dog, heck most dogs and cats have more dignity and follow decent behaviour.

Some of the people on COPS and Wild Police Chases are really scary people, I wouldn't want to deal with.

And the poster that did say, and in thinking it over, yes this was a sporting event and personally, I've been to soccer matches, love soccer with the men running around in shorts
they get me really excited, very intense game................but I would no more think of climbing down onto the playing field nor climbing onto a stage to approach a actor. You watch the game, concert or play and go home in a peaceful orderly manner.

The security did seem to desend upon this man though and go overboard, but than he had no business down on the playing field.

One thing I've seen change over the past several decades, people in general are getting meaner, more tense, more in your face obnoxious and that includes people all across the board.

Why can't people just try to be nice and peaceful?

My user name is "ofhumandescent" but sometimes I really feel like I am from another planet. I don't understand people being so rude and obnoxious on a daily basis.

Glad I don't have to deal with the public.
