It doesn't jive with their pre-conceptions about the "NWO" or US attempts at domination...
This was clearly an attack on Gaddafi ran communications systems, not Gaddafi himself, as I mentioned on page 2. NATO have since advised they hit a C3
site and a SP-Artillery system located within the compound. Open and shut, for those of a logical mind. However, those of a highly suspicious,
conspiracy in everything state of being will not ever go for the mundane, but rather clamour for the all encompassing conspiracy because it sounds
cooler.
I am totally flabbergasted that people deny Gaddafi abused his people, shot demonstrators when they began in Feb over the arrest of a Human rights
lawer, massacred politcial opponents (see Abu Salim prison), supported terrorists the world over and has generally kept his people under a constant
state of oppresion for years. Why would the educated and middle class people of Misrate and benghazi rebel> It wasn't over food, or jobs or money. It
was over the oppression they had been suffering for years.
But I suspect that I will be branded a propogandist and that all these abuses are made up lies and have us believe Gaddafi is a kind man, who provides
a good social system and water to his people.
Whilst Libya had the best developed system in the whole of Africa and a fantastic aqueduct project, this isn't an excuse to be a total bastard to any
who oppose him, which he is. Iraq had the best medical and education systems in the Middle East before and even after the Iran War. Saddam was still a
bastard though.
EDIT: In fact, the fact that a well developed nation can descend into turmoil is pretty indicative of how oppressive he was. This isn't about poverty
or jobs, as in Tunisia or Egypt, but about being shot at for merely voicing your opinion. Educated people are less well manipulated, by either Gaddafi
or Western intelligence, so it adds legitimacy to the claims that they are fed up with their Government.
