The goal, in my opinion, is tolerance, just as you said before. Tolerance does not mean we have to agree, or even like each other. To me, tolerance means live and let live, not destroying those with opposing views.

All well and good but if someone tells the world they are sending jets and drones after me then where should my tolerance end??

I digress back to the OP,

I agree with many in this thread about the fact that a called Assassination of a World Leader from any outside body is deplorable. What little faith many around the world have in the ability of governing bodies such as NATO or the UN, should an actual called Assassination take place and have a paper trail, this would cause immense retaliatory attacks to those responsible. Equally deplorable as these bodies making it their Vendetta to employ such measures would be the countless innocents (I.E. any of us here who have absolutely nothing to do with these decisions being made) who would end up being held liable for the transgressions of those who govern us. Take whatever pick you want on 9/11, whether it be a made up fairy tale like some say (please, I watched the Plane fly into Tower 2... ten years later it is still in slow motion in my head) or a retaliatory attack for the U.S. always getting herself involved in things that don't particularly pertain to her, thousands of innocents were killed that day. Rhetorically speaking, do the global elite really want that kind of blood on their hands? You can take your stance on what you believe about NWO/TPTB/Boogieman and fill in your own personal answer to that question. All I know is that the thought of inciting another Coup d'état for the sake of bloodshed like has been done in the past sickens me...

People seem to have spent 3 pages arguing over Obama and getting with each others mothers or farm animals. Nice and mature!

Anyhoo, I think the headline is sensationalist, at best. What none of you are discussing or have even acknowledged is that 3 Major TV stations went off air for quite some time in Libya after the attack, so it is reasonable to assume that the target was a communications faciity, not Gaddafi.

Honestly, do not feel bad though, it is a very common mistake to confuse political ideology as it happens all the time to people.

I take it you didnt read any of my other responses in this thread, as I already touched on that.

This is about a lot more than just oil...libya is one of 6 countries who currently don't have a central bank..and they have a lot of water..ghaddafi just finished a water system in libya that cost him 20 billion and he didn't borrow a cent from the world bank. This system will turn sand into soil and make libya from a desert to farmland. It is actually one of the greatest achivements and it is incredible it doesn't get any media attention. LIbyans will have enough water for themselves for 50,000 years. It costs the libyan people nothing to use it as their tax dollars helped pay for it. And ghadafi also ended taxes on food due to rising food prices. Does this really sound like a dictator. I also find it funny that libya has an elected prime minister but we never hear the media talk about this. Anyone out there that supports this nato murder of ghaddafi and his country, you are a disgrace and either a fool or an evil person. This is not a people rising up, it is muslim extremists trying to take over a country.(the richest in africa by the way)Ghaddafi has been fighting muslim extremists in his country for over two decades. The US and other countries should actually be singing his praises considering what he was doing and is trying to due goes right with the, "war on terror." But LIbya only has around 50,000 troops and a population of 4 million. So how the hell can they sell this as a majority of the people rising up. We already know eastern libya(particularily benghazi where the rebel stronghold is) is a breeding ground for fighters in the iraq and afghanistan wars. 25% of foreign fighters in iraq come from ere and 20% in afghanistan. So for nato to fight wars against these same people in iraq and afghanistan and protect them in Libya is a joke. This whole thing would of been over a long time if they didn't interfere. The same thing is going on in yemen..why no intervention there..oh yea an ally of the US..same with bahrain and saudi arabia...

These rebels have already sold more than a million barrels of oil...I know if I was rising up risking my life the last thing i'd be concerned about is selling oil

I certainly don't enjoy typing this. At the moment he has a perfect right to bomb US soil and could argue French and British too, maybe even Italian. I certainly wasn't saying that (not sure you directed it at me). I am saying that, as you is being bombed by countries, which until recently were swinging on his balls for about 2 years, he can say 'let's fight back'. Not to support him, simply to state the obvious.

Finally, when you stated The USA is a country like any other. Yes when you want to say a dictionary definition of a country. But when it comes to A LOT of things, (and I am a general supporter of the US and hate the way my US friends are victimized here in Kazakhstan, I'm English by the way), America is a country UN-like any other .
