A lot of the text from the OP's post is lifted directly from Snopes, which, coincidently has names of people who knew him back in Columbia, not to mention some Columbia publications with his name listed.

Of course, they could all be paid-off mouthpieces. Dunno.

My best guess is that he is not that interesting over all to most people. I would focus more on the 540 odd positions held by elected officials for where we are today.

I am indifferent to him as a person, as a President he is a diversion from something else. I'm going to propose a theory on this that should hopefully satisfy both sides as being right and wrong (deal with it). The DNC probably fact checked him and cleared him before he entered the election. HOWEVER, they may have made a mistake during the course of it and realized he DID NOT satisfy the "Natural born citizen" clause, but was so far along in the race that it could be disastrous for the election as a whole to have removed him fromt he race and postponed the election. As a result, they hid their F-up and are continuing to as it, again, would be disastrous for our fragile country right now.

I am not saying it shouldn't be investigated, and I'm not saying he should be impeached, I am taking the the stance of 'not enough info.' However, this to me just seems like the most probable scenario. Can you imagine a political party, coming out during a presidential election and saying "Sorry, we messed up our fact checking and the man you all have been supporting is not elegible to run. Again we apologize for the mistake." This would destroy that party for years, if not entirely. So I get it.

Again, I don't think it is right, but then again no one is really on the "right thing to do" band wagon anymore (I am NOT talking about social programs when I say that), America is degenerating into a nation gilded fools with pipe dreams, and a love of someone elses pocketbook. I love my country, can't stand some of the people in it though.

Actually, I couldn't find that exact quote from Trump -appreciate a link if you have one handy. I *did* however, find this quote from him: "Our current president came out of nowhere.
