I don't know about the false flag thing but it is strange that a statement from the white house later said that after hearing about the first attack Bush leaped into action to protect our country when he is seen clearly being told of the first plane and doing nothing, not even his face changed. Then after being told of the second plane he still did nothing. He just waited until they finished reading the book then gave a little thank you for having me speech then left. Then according to one person on Air Force One he spent the next 1 1/2 hours fighting with secret service wanting to be taken back to Washington (The location the attack was expected next) Meanwhile it was the FAA who began fighting back by ordering all airplanes to be IDed and later grounded not the Gov. It seems Bush did very little at the start of it all.

Really? Ok, you're right. We're not hated. Hell, the Muslims LOVE us and PRAISE us for bombing Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Yemen, Libya, etc.

Nope, no one wants to harm us. Not even when we support Israel. Nope. No hatred from Islamic extremists. No hatred from extremist groups when you illustrate Mohammad. Nope.

They hate us because we killed their family members after the false flag 911; how would you feel if someone killed your family members? A countries forces bombed them in an act of war; wouldn't you want revenge?

911 was a false-flag by Mossad so we could support Israel in their holy war against the muslims that is all. Listen to your Jew-Stream News. Sheeple!

Seriously what is wrong with you people ?!!

Why is this happening ? You need to ask ?

The REASON this is happening is the same as war - there are HUGE profits to be made from this.

Billions were made convincing the government to install the scanning machines, they have been repeatedly proven NOT to prevent many different forms of explosives. So why have them ? Money, thats the only reason.

The TSA pat downs are a secondary source of money. Its that simple.

There has been two events in the past decade out of literally millions, upon millions of flights. Less than a tiny fraction of a tiny percent of a tiny decimal - .00001% ?

There are far, far more weapons carried in petrol tankers, school buses, trains, brought into shopping malls etc where many, many more people could be killed than in a single plane crash. Every day hundreds of people are free to drive fuel laden tankers on our roads, chemical laden tankers, toxic waste carry guns and weapons into shopping malls, concealed weapons into movie theaters - yet no where, ever under any circumstances are people simply searched.

Yet for some reason, simply because they leave the ground, they are searched like this ?

The truth is that this is a method of getting your acceptance - next stop it will be the school bus, the theatre, the Grey hound.

Let me be very, very clear to Americans - these types of scanners are in Australia and many other countries - they are illegal to simply use on anyone - you must be suspected of first carrying a weapon or drugs and then AGREE to the search and if not you are taken to a hospital for an internal xray.

This is Americans, the people, bowing down and groveling like slaves. Americans have become weak.

Yes you are most correct.

And while my job was outsourced to "Team India", my house value decreased again because of the housing market, my property taxes in Cook County, IL went up by $1,300.00 from last year to this year.

Older Americans that are on a fixed income are being forced out of their housing and younger people that are on a low salary with few good raises as well.

Housing is another whole thread.....................more of us are becoming homeless.

Don't care.

I meet the homeless twice a month and within the last two years more and more use to be "middle class" that had one medical or job loss crisis.

What affects one of us will eventually affect all of us except the small handful at the top that are perpetuating this BS.

I agree. What is most frightening here are the parents who actually stand there and allow it to happen to their child. The woman just taught her daughter that it's okay for an adult to touch her against her will.

Not that I agree with this kind of search, but after reading all of the replies here I have to ask,, Does it matter that this happened to a little GIRL. It seems most people are talking about if this happened to my daughter I would....So I have to ask,, Would we still be as outraged if this were a little boy?? I wonder...

Unfortunately I have to agree with you. I have flown a lot all over the world (only continent I haven't been to is Antarctica) and the only time you get harassed is when flying to/from the US. If you are flying a US carrier then double the trouble. When flying on a non-US carrier to a country other than the US from a country other than the US you go through NONE of this BS. Most countries only make you walk through a metal detector; some don't even do that. There are no pat-downs or naked body scanners; no long lines waiting for someone to check your papers; no random stops for questions; no getting stopped on the jetway (yes, my family was stopped on the jetway to be "checked" years ago while people that should be checked walked right on board).

I fly to/from the US as little as possible and I avoid US carriers as much as possible. I know this isn't really an option for folks living in the US. I don't know what to tell you. TPTB know they have you over a barrel at the airport. Either you are travelling on business or on a discount fare ticket and you:
1) don't want to lose your money
2) don't want to lose your job
3) are just scared to death of the gestapo arresting you

TPTB count on this to conduct illegal, unconstitutional and unwarranted search and seizure.

So, for the foreseeable period when I can avoid flying to/from the US and/or on a US carrier I will do that. When I have no choice I will decide at that time if I will accept this invasion of my privacy and my rights or not. Hard to say until I am in that spot but I, like most people on this site who aren't "ATS forum tough-guys", also do not want any of the above 3 items to happen to me.

Persist

EDIT

That being said. I don't recall seeing any Aussies, or anyone else for that matter, throwing down with the TSA agents we have deployed in your countries making you go through our naked body scanners and get groped just for the privilege of flying into the US. Where is your outrage?

Not trying to throw stones but it is easy to point out our flaws and not look at your own. Why is your government allowing the US to put TSA agents and naked body scanners in your country? What are you doing to stop it?

Yes, actually I would be. I am outraged that it happens to any human beings at all TBH. As I said, I will not be flying anywhere while this madness is going on. And I most definately won't be taking my nieces(I am their guardian) to an airport anytime soon. If anyone touched either of them like this, bones would be broken indeed.

Good call, undoubtedly the fact that it is a girl makes people more angry but I think a strong reaction would ensue if it were a boy. either way, it is just wrong!

So... Where was the groping? That was a search... Not an inappropriate touch. That said, I do hate what the TSA does and they do push the legal boundaries ( being kind on that one)... But let's be fair here. There was no inappropriate touching going on... And to accuse some one of touching a child inappropriately is not cool.... At all.

It is a sad fact that people will take advantage of children and hide drugs and weapons on them hoping that security will pass them up... It happens all the time....

Yep, it sucks, but there was no child molestation in this video.... So let's be careful not to accuse people of such a horrible crime, when it is obvious that it did not happen.....

Eh, yeah it is inappropriate touch. Regardless of what evil people will use children for, it's still inappropriate touch. And it doesn't make it right just because the agent is being polite, and announcing out loud her every hand movement. The sad fact here is, people are willing to sacrifice their liberty for safety. As I mentioned, there are criminals who have been charged as sexual offenders for performing the same thing as the TSA agent has in that video. If you don't think it's wrong, by all means, go on and let someone touch your child. I refuse to accept this as the new normal.

Hey, maybe I'll immigrate to Australia............Americans have become "compliant".

However, I think what happens in America is Ground Zero testing for the globe.

If this isn't nipped in the bud, if enough people refuse to be scanned and searched and it's going to have to be the majority, this will only continue, get worse and like a cancer spread.

Either there's too much security or when something happens there isn't enough. I agree that it is pretty much taboo for this. I work in this industry and we have been informed via internal memorandums that there was an incident in England where a mother had strapped an IED on her child, whether that's true or not or just created to condone additional screening, it's still terrible. It's really sad to see what this world is coming to..

However, I would like to add that this TSA agent went about her job very professionally and made every attempt to explain the procedure to the family and the girl as it continued, and no, it's not a drug test (like stated by the mother at 1:25). Anyways, that's just my 2 cents.
edit on 10-4-2011 by kathael because:

Exactly, what could possibly be a better idea than selecting people at random and touching their private areas in a professional way? If they don't like it, there are other people who will. And also, the TSA is now the perfect sting operation for child molesters. We hire them to touch children's private areas. Then, later on when they do the same exact touching but off the clock, we arrest them for it and put them in prison.

Children can have explosives INSIDE their privates. So we should be cavity searching them. Not to mention we need to do cavity searches before each day of school. We all know a terrorist (now defined as someone who wishes to compete with the US government businesses [ref Liberty Dollar trial]) may put explosives within inside private orifices of children.

In all seriousness though, the best way to handle airport security is to offer all clean & sane adults a firearm or hunting knife before they go on their airplane. All but the nuttiest of terrorists would then avoid hijacking ideas like the plague. Thats right, THE BEST security is achieved by handing out razor blades, box cutters, and firearms like confetti to travelers as they board the plane. But that wouldn't allow us to find out what's inside little girl's pants now would it?

Effective security has a tiny bit to do with screening, but almost entirely to do with watching for certain behaviors. If someone exhibits strange behaviors, then and only then is it ever acceptable to probe them, and only then with their permission. Unwanted touching of the private area is a crime, period! That is so obvious its amazing they can brainwash people to actually believe otherwise.

Sure a toddler could be used as a way to get explosives on the plane. Anything could happen, but real life is about probabilities, not crazy twisted fantasies that have never happened and will never happen. The rules need to be based on real life, not imaginary threats made up by crazy terrorists in the White House who want to know whats inside your pants.

I further think that keeping the camera focused on the TSA agent keeps her in line as she must know she is being videotaped. I'm suprised they still allow that, what with all this other intimidation going on from the administration..

And where are all the environmentalists now with TSA having to use gloves. More gloves for the trash pit in the ocean. It just goes to show that even the leftists don't go according to their own dictates.

Exactamundo. As I said in a prior post responding to the poster who stated American's were weak and that Aussies wouldn't put up with that stuff; the US had actually deployed naked body scanners and TSA agents into almost every airport in the world, including Australia. Anyone flying to the good 'ol US of A has to get the treatment.

So, it is being exported and looky! The Aussies are doing nothing about it and it is Foreigners doing it! Neither is anyone else. Just a matter of time before our friends from down under have to get fondled just to go from Sydney to Melbourne.

To all you "What-if" people

Let's examine that for a second; what if. What if that little girl was carrying a bomb; we had better check her. What if that TSA agent was in on it and made it LOOK like she was doing a good job just so she could help the little girl sneak the bomb on the plane. What if the little girl's mother was a secret terrorist who wanted to fly planes into buildings and was going to use the little girl's bomb as a way to scare the bajeezus out of the passengers, after being allowed on board by the conspiratorial TSA agent. What if the mother then flew the plane into your house and ended that one part of the gene-pool that felt it was OK to grope little girls because, "What if she had a bomb..."

*sigh*
