There is no such thing as a long form birth certificate as that would include the billing statement for the hospital and all account info is classified.

It doesn't include the billing statement, that's a lie, it includes the doctor's signature, the height and weight, maybe the footprint. His so called "birth certificate" doesn't even mention the hospital he was born at.

Forgive the short and poorly spaced reply, I am typing on my phone. I was required by the state of Ohio to show my certificate of birth in order to obtain a driver's license. I was required by law to show my 3 year old son's certificate of birth in order for him to legally be allowed to attend preschool. If it is required for driving and preschool, wouldn't it be even more important for the POTUS? Its not that hard. Either show the thing or admit that you don't have one. I wonder what will come of Trump's investigation?

Ok . . . after reading this and the Trump/Hawaai Bumsniff Mission, I can't help but sit back and think, In the reality of it all, who gives a Weeble's Wobble where Barak Obama was born?.

Seriously, in light of everything that is going on in this country and on this planet, it seems the technicality of where Obama was born is somewhat trivial. Does it make him any worse of a president . . . I'd say no, but predominantly because I don't think he could be doing any worse. That's got nothing to do with his place of birth, color of skin, choice of religion, the size of his shoe, whether or not he smokes, if he's a slave to Grecian Formula for Men . . . if his real name is Barry Soweetheart or Sammy Shellfish or Quiznos Von Sangwich or whatever . . .

Really.

Who gives a crap crapity crap.

Maybe we should all focus on what is worrying us most . . . things like I need a job that pays more than $6.25 per hour because prices are on a steady incline . . . or maybe fact that we're a few dollars a barrel away from economic disaster . . . or maybe that the banks are lending money to fraudster oil speculators who are the same fraudsters who they lent oodles to prior to the housing collapse so they can continue to inflate the price of oil for no real reason . . . or maybe that we're shooting missiles, flying drones and covertly throwing billions away in the middle east saving democracy, oil wells, peasants, donkey carts or sand dunes (depending on which main stream story you choose to believe) . . . or maybe that the Gulf of Mexico is still as clean as and still smells similar to a pail of turpentine . . . or maybe that drugs are still flowing into this country from Mexico almost as fast as the military spending flows out . . . or maybe that we're loosing soldiers in Afganastan protecting the poppy fields from drug lords . . . or maybe that there's radiation blowing inland from Japan and it's only a matter of months before the tainted Pacific waters end up on our shores . . . I think you get the point.

Oooooooooooooooo . . . it's gotta be important . . . that Trump guy with the wierd hair and the television show where B-list actors and middle-of-the-chart musicians and aging used-to-be stars prostitute themselves to be a Trump lackey . . . we'll he thinks it's important so it's gotta be important . . . because he's only gone bankrupt a few times to he's gotta be smart . . .

I can't wait until Oprah chimes in on this one . . . we may have a civil war!!!!!!!!!

I think I'm going to puke.

Yes, the constitution says the president must be born in the US, but the constitution also infers a whack of things with respect to our taxation system, our rights to bear arms, our freedom of speech and the like that the government seems to be rather conveniently disregarding, so why the big deal about this . . .

But, as long as we're all gathered around the campfire occupying our feeble little minds with Barak Obama's country of origin, we really don't need to worry much about all that other insignificant stuff.

I am not from America but it is easy to see that Obama (whatever the problems with eligibility are ... if any ... I don't know) has got away with it already. All this talk and attempted legal action do nothing. He will stay in office whatever is proven about him. My personal opinion is that stuff is hidden about him because of who his real father is (a radical black activist at a guess) not where he was actually born. I think that is what he is hiding. But I am an Aussie so my input means Jack. But I stand by the point he has already got away with whatever he is hiding!

Oh puleeze. So, the PTB or nwo or whoever, decided to let a foreigner win the election so they could blame the mess we're in on him. Right?

Reason it out. The GOP had the reigns of power. The bush family is tightly connected with us secret svcs(CIA, NSA etc). They would have access to the supposed "intelligence" that Obama isn't a citizen. Why didn't they expose him and get the presidency?

Here, here, Thank you! I couldn't have said it better.

If there IS another version of his birth certificate its private, just like mine. Nobody needs a copy of my footprints, my mothers maiden name, fathers occupation, social security numbers, etc. And, nobody has the right to get a copy of it but me or my immediate family.

Do we know his blood type? How about his tonsils? Does he still have them, what hospital took them out? Who was the doctor.......WHO CARES! GEEZ! What a distraction from the real issues.

I lost my birth certificate a few years ago. It must have gotten lost in moving. I am descended from the founders of our country on both sides of the family.

I contacted the hospital and the government agency responsible for birth certificates and asked them for another one. They sent me what is clearly a copy, and it says on the certificate that it is an officially recognized copy. Even though it has a government certification, I am not sure if it would be acceptable to every authority.

God help me if I should ever run for public office. I guess I'm screwed for life.

Yet another birther lie - why do you ignore his birth certificate?

Umm, because it does not prove he was born in the US..
You know this as fact..
Why carry on???

Does it matter then that John McCain was born in Panama?

Constitution of the United States.
Really? The Constitution says the President must publicly show his “long form” birth certificate? That provision in the Constitution must be written in crazy ink.

The Constitution stipulates only a natural-born citizen is eligible to the office of President, but doesn’t describe how that determination is made, let alone that a candidate or a President must publicly disclose his birth certificate, long or short form.

But on the birther topic. What makes him unqualified? If he were born in a foreign country to American parents does that make him qualified? Is John McCain, being born in a foreign country, qualified?
The definition of natural-born citizen the birthers want to use to disqualify Obama, even regardless of were he was born, unquestionably disqualifies McCain. But they don’t have certain ‘feelings’ or ‘suspicions’ about McCain, so they don’t they care about that.

I've been saying that for years. The core to this is that there is fear of Barack Obama - he's different, he looks different, he acts different, he was raised different, therefore he must not be real and therefore must be challenged. Fear of the Other is a very atavistic thing - no wonder that most of these people who are crying so hard about it don't realize they are moving from fear - it takes some self-realization to notice.

Yes, and federal law trumps state law. That should sew up that little state led nonsense about proving his BC... although when he runs in a state requiring it, I'm gonna laugh at birthers claiming its illegal....

the answer is:

McCain is old and white, he's safe. Obama is obviously darker and younger, so he's probably invoking fears of stealing their women....

Seriously, before I get booted for being offtopic, this has been done, birthers. Go ahead, waste your fury and fire on this, you know you got exactly two things - jack and crap, and jack just left town.

Cheers.

So you tell me, how did home birthers get a BC back then ?

I am not sure how to be any more clear. You need to back up your claim. I have made no claims. Questioning me instead of answering my question is the epitomy of deflection, your favorite new word.

I also notice quite a few days between birth and his supposed BC..
Why is that if he was born in a hospital ??

My BC was generated by the DOH, not any hospital. I was however born in a hospital. This lead to lag in my case. Just back up your claim and defelect later.

I just really love how your definitive list of things that would be included on this imaginary form you insist the right to see includes the word "maybe" because you know this is a big farce too. "Maybe a footprint?"
Sure, sure. Nevermind the fact that there is not going to be one with a footprint on it at all because those are not considered legal documents in the states. Just add it anyway, toss in a "maybe" and see if it sticks. This is fascinating. MY BC does not have a hospital name or doctor signature. It simply certifies what US county I was born in, as does Obama's. Can I not run for president based on that then or are birthers just a really silly bunch?

Should we honestly expect you to do anything about it. Your society is so dumbed down. I don't think so.

I'd like to know the reason that President Obama is being asked to show his long-form birth certificate when no other US president has has to. The Certificate of Live Birth is all the government requires for a passport, which is proof of citizenship. Most states will only issue Certificates of Live Birth, or short-form certificates if you prefer.
This birther nonsense is about one thing and one thing only: a black man was elected president of the United States and racist white conservatives can't stand it. Grow up and put your big boy pants on.

This has nothing to do with him being "black"(which he isn't).
If Colin Powell was President, if Al Sharpton was President(God forbid),
no one would question their place of birth, and ask for a BC.

It's not about his skin color, it's too much of his past story does not add up, and that he is making an effort to keep this document(and others) kept secret.

The birthers usually preface their Islamic-Marxist-Socialist-Kenyan rants with that.

And you know this because you are psychic.

Bottom line, if you want to be taken seriously you don’t have to convince us that you’re not racists, you have to convince us that Obama wasn’t born in the United States.

Generally, you birthers aren’t doing very good in regards to the former, and we’re still waiting for the latter.

they vary by state

So you're saying it's imaginary huh? You're saying the court is barring a man from viewing an imaginary document you say? Wow what a fanciful imagination you have.

Interesting how my use of the word "maybe" set you off. Was I showing too much doubt in myself? Maybe I should be more authoritative in my speech? I was born in America, believe me. I was born in America. How's that?

and birth certificates do have foot prints on them usually, just not mine.

I am saying what is imaginary? I do not recall saying any thing like that.

No, I am going to need tissue samples before I can believe you.

No they do not. That is simply not true. Which states issue a birth certificate with a footprint on it as legal ID? Not hospital souveniers, actual legal BCs. Can I get a list?

Spin the issue anyway you like..
Obviously this issue is VERY important to you..

FACT is he doesn't want to show his long form..
Question is, why ??

That's all the matters..
The rest is deflection..
