This was a multi-daily reminder for me to have the patience of the spider - and that I could will myself to be patient - my prey would soon enough be mine. Cold, deliberate, careful patience will enable you to take down many more foes than an impatient demeanor given to rash moves will provide.

Hey, good luck with the spider thing man. I for one never needed to control my emotions by branding myself with what I believed was a patient predator. Although you lay out a nice little discourse of what a scary individual you must be by equating yourself with the spider. Hey, you ever seen animals in the wild try to make themselves look bigger than they really are? I have.

You sure are one that shouldn't be crossed by all accounts you've given. Very scary indeed.

Natural selection is not confined to the animal world. If you are naturalistic you would appreciate this fact. But people see something deeper, that cuts through the marrow to the spirit. Israel "strives with God" and the world with Israel. But as Jacob strove with God and "won" and was blessed, so Israel will preserve. As for being a doner? Thanks mate, but apparantly there are huge stocks in israel taken from gazans

Yeah but we decided you wouldn't need a Gazan organ, that Proto would give you his and you would give me mine.

Please don't tell me you forgot!

The religious arguments really hold no water with me my friend. This is where people start taking the detour to stupid. Bizarre forms of ancestor worship and Gods that don't stop by to party.

Where a corrupt priestly class first defines what the laity often reinvent from books of riddles meant to suit any occassion.

If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with BS.

That's all religion is.

The alleged God of the Hebrews has not looked out for them too well the past 2,000 years. If that's the best you can offer up for your support of a war mongering state born through violent terrorism and stealing land, as a justification, I feel sorry for you.

Which is of course why you can have an organ if you need one.

I appreciate your comments but from someone who has spent most of my life in wars, i have to say that in this case i believe that Am Yisrael have to be the bigger man, righteous Jews, who are brave enough to "stop". It will take us to endure the slings and arrows and turn the other cheek to resolve this.. I believe that both sides have been played by weapons dealers.. Just "stopping", turning the other cheek, would be like heaping hot coals on our enemies consciences. Force has not worked.

This just Couldn't have been done by the peaceful muslims now could it!
Unlike isralies, it seems they like to kill school children; I read about things like that quite often.
Actually, it seems like they/muslims just plain love to kill...

Bibi was told that he would be the 1 to set up "the throne of David" for Messiah. Likewise so was the Iranian president for the Mahdi. Both seem to be working together to bring about the climate for respective beliefs. I just wonder if those "godly messengers" worked for the military industrial complex

The truth is a person convinced against their will is a person who remains unconvinced.

Something a lot of people posting to this thread have a hard time understanding.

When using phsyical dominance to cower someone into submission all you have done is to cower them, you haven't inspired them, you haven't made a friend.

So they simply like all independent minded people do, bide their time, look to gather up some kind of strength to cast of the yoke of domination.

The truth is individually most Muslims and Jews can get along in an atmosphere of mutual respect and civility, it's collectively when the politics of their states and religions come into play that they are more or less set up like bowling pins by their states and religion like humpty dumpty to take a fall.

The over reliance on military force by some governments really is a weakness and not a strength.

It's also a failed doctrine as history has displayed time and time again that people who don't want to be conquered and occupied simply undertake long bloody insurgencies against the occupiers until the occupiers figure out that it's not worth the price they have to pay to dominate by force.

Sadly our corrupt violence bent governments much like many members imagine there is some cost/value formula involved in these things, that is until it's one of their own children that gets hurt.

What people sadly never seem to get is that they are all 'our' children.

Well considering here in the United States we were told ten years ago that we would be at war in a war that would last our entire lifetimes against a vague enemy, and we are currently killing people in three active wars, and two more low intensity cross border conflicts it would seem with the highest body count to our credit Americans love to kill.

You keep pretending it's the Muslims though if it makes you feel better.

Might want to check our Bankrupt Treasury for the truth though, because sooner or later a bill you aren't going to want to pay is going to come due for this madness.

My friend, it's always best to try to resolve issues without violence. When men of honor truly seek peace, they will always find a way to obtain it.

Force first should never be a preference. However, it takes two sides of equal desire to obtain common ground and agreement.

The problem here in and around Israel is the overly emotional, contentious factions who will never be peaceful men. All through history, it is the bloody trouble makers who have taken their people down with them.

Hamas and Hizballah are those that the surrounding people have either chosen to make determinations, or have allowed them to breath. Either way, the people surrounding them are going to be held responsible.

If I allow someone to shoot from my house, I should not be surprised when my house is blown up in retaliation.

You say the force portion hasn't worked. That's only because unleashed, total war has not been yet waged.

Find me one who is dead who will shoot at me again.

Not in this world.

Recall the city of Ai.

No problems from future generations of Ai.

Both are working together with the real God of the Hebrews the Pope in Rome the Vicar of Christ that gave us this system by violently imposing it on the world.

Largely on frightened illiterate peasants and tribal peoples as a power and societal construct.

Once institutionalized it has simply propogated itself without a shred of proof for the existence of said God.

Too many vested interests, too much money involved, and still way to many fearful, ignorant and supersitious people, often purposefully kept that way by the mass media and government sponsored education to have the ability to figure out the true nature of our universe.

In all fairness that last bit is a daunting task so religion becomes an easy cop out for those challenged by the meaning and mysteries of life.

Of course everyone claims their religion is peaceful but one need look no further than the angry ten commandments where God will drive your enemies before you to smite down, and how to properly care for your slaves to appreciate it's not peaceful at all.

Simply part of a system where people are taught to believe black is white, up is down, left is right and so on and so forth on a magical thing called faith.

I have to take you to task of your missconception of the 10 commandments. They boil down to loving God and each other. Read them! Do not spout spurious comments without understanding or you will look a fool. However, the so called righteous seem to have skipped that part too! God commanded that we love one another but it seems that God has left the building!

Let's recall the city of Ai shall we?

In the Book of Joshua chapter 7-8 in the Bible, the Israelites attempt to conquer Ai on two occasions, the first in Joshua 7 failing. The Biblical account portrays the failure as being due to a prior sin of Achan; for which Achan, his children, wife, sheep, and other livestock, are stoned to death by the Israelites. On the second attempt in Joshua 8, Joshua, who is identified by the narrative as the leader of the Israelites, plans and leads an ambush at the rear of the city on the western side. When the city is captured, it is set on fire and razed to the ground. "So Joshua burned Ai and made it a permanent heap of ruins" --Joshua 8:28 NIV.

en.wikipedia.org...

Now this leads me to wonder what in the world was so terrible about Ai that Israel felt it should be leveled? Let's see...

After the victory at Jericho, the Israelites wanted to move farther into the land of Canaan. Joshua sent spies to Ai, the next town. "Go up and view the country," he told them. When they returned, they told Joshua, "We will need only three thousand men to take the city, because it is small. So, Joshua sent three thousand soldiers to Ai. This time the soldiers did not return with shouts of victory. Instead they came running with the men of Ai right behind them. A few brave Israelites even lost their lives in the battle. How discouraged the Israelites were at their defeat! Joshua was so troubled that he tore his clothes and fell on his face before the ark.

www.aslbible.com...

Oh, that's why. They wanted to move after the whole Jericho thing. Well that's reasonable I guess and why not just look for a better place to plant themselves. They didn't need to worry about who was living there. Ah, but we see that the Israelites underestimated Ai and a few Israelis were killed. So Joshua fell on the ark apparently and found out why they had not won that little battle. It was an Israeli soldier named Achan that took some booty from Jericho when he shouldn't have. Can you believe that?

So the Lord commanded that Achan and everything that was his be burned to ashes and Israel lived happily ever after.

The Lord commanded that Achan and all that belonged to him be burned. So Joshua and all Israel with him took Achan, his sons and daughters, oxen, donkeys and all that belonged to him into a valley. The children of Israel stoned them and burned them with fire.

Hey that was a great analogy FarArcher, I mean spidey. Can we hear another one?

To be honest that has crossed the minds of many Israelis myself included. Blood seems to be the currency of nationhood and freedom of which I have more than done my part. But a nation born in blood ends in it. I live in England which is now f@%ked, likewise America, Israel too which i had a hand in, but what we have now is killing people. What for? The dead sea. The biggest oil reserve ever!

I'm sorry, I thought you were referring to the city of Ai that was turned into a pile of rubble by Israel for very vague reasons. The first time they went to take the city they were beaten. They found out by divine inspiration that one of their own was to blame. So they took him and his family and his livestock and pounded them with rocks and set them ablaze. After that, they were allowed to win against Ai. How merciful.

Those who live by the sword die by the sword, it really is that simple.

In reality all FarArcher is arguing for is genocide of an entire people simply because they exist and wish to exist with some kind of freedom and dignity in a place and a time that has become very inconvenient and untimely for a people who also covet the land through violence.

What FarArcher of course is arguing for is killing lots of children, old men, and women too.

Simply because they exist.

Somehow he imagines he occupies the moral highground with thinking like that, as opposed to the bankrupt position it is.

It's interesting to see you use a source to support your argument which seems to also validate Israels heretical claims in the region.

Brilliant!

Yes, it really is quite an intriguing story. It seems that this Achan fellow just couldn't help himself to some of the forbidden loot. They were told through divine inspiration that the whole of Israel was punished for it by losing a battle in their conquest. The same inspiration led them to the man Achan, an Israeli soldier. They were next divinely told to beat him and his family with rocks and set them on fire if they wanted to win any more battles with which they complied and were rewarded with yet more conquests. Very inspiring.

Sources sources my friend. What in the hell is a heretical claim anyway? You mean that what I've posted proves that Israel is the owners of the land uncontested? Are you sure you want to go there Slayer? Sources sources and it could get ugly.
