The problem is that some people - ok, way too many people - base what they believe on what they personally experience (see, feel, touch, taste etc.). So their view is purely egocentric. Deriving knowledge from "external" facts is not possible for them because when it's not jumping in their faces it does not exist. That way they say "The aliens don't show up for me. So they don't exist." That is not only very arrogant but also pretty ridiculous.
I also haven't seen a vulcano with my own eyes. And I haven't experienced an earthquake. Does this mean these phenomena do not really exist and all the "external" evidence I have seen so far is just "made up"? Well, according to the "logic" of some people it seems so.

Regarding an "open" contact of another species with us I see severe problems regarding this wide-spread egocentric view. Maybe this behaviour is one of the major reasons why they haven't tried to openly contact us all as a species so far. WE must change - not they.
Another major reason may be that there simply is nothing to talk about with us. You couldn't have a reasonable conversation with an ant either. We shouldn't see ourselves to be so very important when indeed we are not.

It's Earth Chauvinist to think that we are the only creatures around.. In a way, I think we're very lucky that Alien civilization hasn't come and wipe us out... hmmm, maybe their is a Federation after All !!!

I believe we are the first, or maybe the only ones left/advanced enough. We shouldn't be messing about with wars in Libya we should be uniting and focusing on science and insterstellar travel/terraforming technologies.

I don't need to watch a bunch of propagadaist scare-mongering by fiction writers to know that if I look out at the sky at night, all i see is stars and planes.

Occam's Razor - I don't see aliens, no-one I've met has ever seen an alien, therefore they don't exist, (at least in this galaxy).

You're choosing ignorance by enabling the fiction writers to continue when you read and quote them. Frankly it's insulting that you would condescend my opinion on a discussion board on such an obviously unknowable topic.

there is life on most of the planets in our solarsystem, including moons and in space...we are small game compared to the ones that "own" us... the ones from our dimension use matter like us.... those from other dimensions appear to us as "light,energy"...we are hundreds of million s of years behind some of the most advanced life. probably more....

I used to have a spinning UFO as an avatar but the last 2 years I'm more on the fence about what it is we are actually seeing in the skies.
Just wanted to add that what we are seeing could be drones with no one on board.
As for Aliens, I know for sure that bacteria has been found in space and we also saw that jellyfish looking thing, so from what we know and have seen so far, I'm not so sure it's Aliens as we think of them.

So I'll say 3 for not sure on both counts.

And by the way, using Okkam's razor! Regarding the topic UFOs the only conclusion can be: UFO's do exist. Where there is smoke there is a fire. MANY people have seen UFOs. Many many many more than you could ever have friends. Pilots have seen UFOs. Radars have tracked UFOs. Astonauts have seen UFOs.

You are egocentric in the way I have stated several replies above. Because YOU haven't seen evidence for YOU means there is none. That IS egocentric.

let say if it was to be seen from space or high altitude, wikipedia estimated the date to 300 B.C. to 800 A.D

the only thing that was fliyng back then was pigeons.

Take a closer look at the 2 first pictures the hole top of a mountain is excavated flat and it looks like a runway to.

1: Extra terrestrial\ET= Highly intelligent being living in outer space\Universe,capable of taking own choices,Evolving,communicating within their own race and others.. They live on a planet,in a galaxy,within a universe.

2: The human race is per Fact an ET RACE.

3:The realistic\logical and mathematical answer to if there is other ET races than ourselves out there is 100%.

4: Has other ET races been in contact with us?..Take a trip out of wallmart or your own apartment,learn and see for yourself. If logic isnt one of your best suited qualities ,your eyes and fingertips will do the rest for you.

MrMasterJoe has offered you some extremely useful information and IF you took some of your time to actually read though some of the information out there you'd soon realise that just because a tiny fraction of Earth's population that you happen to actually know have never seen an alien, it doesn't mean it is not true.

Please take a second to think about your last statement and think in a logical and objective fashion about how flawed your thinking is.

You simply cannot win this argument because you refuse to even think about it or even do a little research yourself.
