Well, some people did try to build an eco community trying to be in tune with the nature spirits and angel devas. I ran across the idea of it in the Theosophical bookstore back in the 70's. They also had a book written by a woman who claimed to see the nature spirits. I cannot remember her name now.

It's definitely 'there', was there when the pic was taken and is a real 3d world object

Yes, they prooved it worked.
Read about George Washington Carver, Luther Burbank and others who saw auras, thought they were going nuts, but actually had abilities to see the biological life force.
Burbank used to write about his walk through his garden, seeing glows and colors. He invented 800 types of plants. A visionary Botinist.
Carver, also had similar abilities, and was a visionary in the 1800's inventing and showing us great new crops like Peanuts, that were only used for animal feed before he showed us how good a food source it was.
Also Secret Life of Plants and Secrets of the Soil are great books that show how incredible life and our ability to perceive, grow and benefit from it, it really is.

Same with me. It is definitely a realworld object. If it is an statue of some sort, it certainly isn't simply leaning on the fence. The center of gravity is slightly ahead of it, indicating that it is in motion, even if that means it is only falling forward. The most interesting detail is the fact that there is no room for the creature to occupy the space it is in. In fact it appears to be embedded into the wall.

I'd say that definitely adds more fuel to the fire, but again, the dude is a landscaper. He had every right to be walking through that path to get to the area where there is work to do. I wouldn't let this development alone discredit the picture, but it's certainly something to keep in mind.
Maybe he had walked that very path to get over there, pull out some big weeds or dead plants and walked back to take the picture so he could get a cleaner view of the area?

There's those who have access to information to contact the original photographer, and there's a case filed for the image. There's other resources if we feel this to be a sincere case of providing additonal evidence.
The picture above is a great analysis of something to pick out, but again I added my own thoughts on why that isn't the smoking gun.
In addition to the effect on this thread, my post was a general rant. Believe what you want, but don't waste your time or other people's time and frustration posting with your foot in mouth. There's plenty of intelligent discussion to be had without every avenue being taken, this is a start. If we can't immediately label it as hoax and it becomes something more interesting than any effort put into the thread thus far would be worth it.
And if someone does have the smoking gun this can be thrown into the hoax bin, with the best intentions of the posters thus far.edit on 3-4-2011 by shagula because: (no reason given)

I not do read all the post but here is how I feel about it. There once was a saying "A picture is worth a thousand words". Well it seems that like everything else its valve has dropped. With all the crazy and odd things going on in the world today and the easy of photoshop who is to say what is and is not 'real' in a picture any more. A real alien could take a picture of themselves and people would call it fake while at the same time the worse fake ever made would be held true without question. As proof of anything pictures are almost worthless now days.
This is off topic here but it is only a mater of time before the courts and legal system have to face this when using photos as evidence in a crime. Fake crime scene photos, it will happen sooner or later.

While you and me may not be able to make the perfect fake photo there are people out there who can. Give it a few more years as the tech becomes better and more available to the common person and you will see that I am right. I have heard of programs that can build a picture pixel by pixel in use now. Just think about what it will be like in 10 or 20 years. Forget that long what about the next 5. I feel I am right about this but I kind of wished I wasn't.
