did you by any chance even read what I posted? I said Im holding my claims until further proof is there, in NO WAY shape or form did I say this is an alien, I simply said i have no clue what it is and im not gonna say I do.

The argument of who has to prove what is beyond childish..if you make a claim then BACK IT UP. I have made no such claims as of yet so I have nothing to prove, you however claim this is fake so you do have something to prove, yet you dont know how to prove this is fake so you reside to telling us its our job to prove its real..Im done replying here as I am not in the mood to argue over such a silly subject, especially when you cannot even produce any evidence to back up your claims..

AGAIN I have made no claims as to what this is, so I do not have to provide any evidence as I am simply on the fence with this one and I will remain there until further evidence surfaces, good day sir.

Good then, we are in agreement. You don't know what it is.

I will repeat my analysis:

As i said previously, it's embedded into the wall somehow. look at the location of the front foot, and the absence of the back foot. It's also difficult to distinguish which arm (right or left) is the forward swinging arm. The back arm also looks partially imbedded. I cannot ascertain why this might be, but it is pretty clearly embedded into the wall.

There is simply no room for something to be in that space, be it a creature, statue, or otherwise.

Mate, it's a frigging statue/figure of an alien posted on April Fool's day.

What proof do you have of this?

The picture.

Well the picture looks like a creature.
Do you have any evidence it's something else?

Because it's foolish to assume the most extraordinary answer is the correct one? scientific approach, logic, rational reasoning .. all of those things point away from it being an alien creature and more likely to be something like an optical illusion as someone suggested, or a poorly made sculpture .. and as someone else pointed out, this guy would surely have noticed this thing.. even if it's small and dark, if it was moving as it looks like he tried to make it seem .. he'd have spotted it

But nevertheless.. the burden of proof is on those that make the claims of the extraordinary.. we don't have to prove it's not something otherworldly because rationality leans that way.. to claim it's something extraordinary puts you on the proving end..

so .. where's your proof it's a creature? the picture sure doesn't prove that

But it is not such an extraordinary answer. Only if you don't believe the statistical of how many millions of abductions and alien encounters have been documented with upstanding and prominent forthright good people including police, trained observers, military and similar witnesses. It is as common or more so than a car accident. Pretty common.

So I don't think such factoring is sound. April Fools was the post date. Not the date of the incident.

Just an amendment to my previous post, but has anyone else noticed that there appears to be a metal strip that seems to connect the left and right legs together? It is slightly obscured by some grass covering it in the front/middle, but if you draw two lines from the top and bottom of these rectangles you could assume that these perfectly parallel strips to be one single strip connecting the legs of the object.

This could work like the base of a flat garden statue that is made of metal that are found in most gardens. Although they are usually cows or farmers bending over, the line is drawn right at the level of the "feet/ankle" and the object appears to be a little high up on the wall instead of standing on the ground.

If you draw a line from the portion of the wall that is uncovered in the left corner and the sidewalk/driveway you will see that the object appears to be at least 3-4 inches above the ground level.

I don't see it. In fact there does not seem to be room in that space for ANYTHING. Can you maybe outline it on a pic for us?

I can't believe this crap gets so many positive replies...

That's just a statue! An Alien-like garden dwarf.

A video would have proven something, but this is for third-graders,

Death_kron is talking sense, its a statue. Your all trying way too hard to find something out of nothing.

I'll ask the same question I ask of everyone who says it's just a statue.

Proof please?

Look at the position of the legs. Analyze it a little bit, rather than just repeating others.
There is no room for an object, statue, living creature or otherwise. The thing appears to be embedded into the wall.

I work with 3DMax and Maya too. Lighting whether ray trace, radiosity and other such follow some basic light physics. I wrestle with such all the time to get realistic shadows for objects. Many types of lights or source have many outcomes in a render. This is outdoor, direct, with shadows, and shadows from ambient in the shadows.

In this photo I observed a correct diffused general shadow behind the object/being/whatever. Light being ambient from the general sky, and then reflected off variable surfaces in the immediate environment would have the light particles coming from many directions into the shadow area, diffused and very extended so soft shadows with a long fall off.

I cant discount the shadows being correct.

EVIDENCE. even a third grader needs that. You are making an assumption with no critical observed proof.

Proof? There's a set of footprints leading to the statue! Not just in that direction, but DIRECTLY to it.

It was also posted on April 1st..

If not a statue then a painting, its one of those. That's a fact.

I'm interested to know your thoughtful analysis of the photo.
What evidence do you have that it is a statue?
I cannot reconcile how it fits into the space it's supposed to occupy.

Well there are spots that look like footprints all over the place, and since the photographer is a landscaper, we can assume he walked all over, so any footprints, if thats even what they are wouldn't mean much.

I can buy the idea of a painting much easier than a sculpture, simply because there is absolutely no space for the creature/object to be occupying. The lead foot is clearly standing on the grass about 1/2 inch from the wall, perhaps a full inch max. If it weren't for that, I might say it WAS a painting. It appears to be a three dimensional creature/object embedded into the wall.
