This topic is a smokescreen for Jew-hating. A diversion by mentioning Israel.

Israel has the land. They'll have more before it's over. Gaza will be absolutely, totally fried. Syrian and Jordan - the same thing. And those so-called Palestinians? Who are really Jordanians?

What is jew hating??
You then go on to say they will take steal more land..
So is it hating or justified dislike??

Im gonna read the rules.

I think you are knowingly spreading false information about the Jews, and this constitutes a hate crime.

So, unless you give evidence for this, i am gojng to PM every mod on this board to make sure you are punished for this.

I have not seen Lazarus posted a hate crime and you will find there are people who would feel justified in complaining that he is being victimised by you because he doesn't share your world view. Are we here to discuss and learn or to ridicule people and then silence them.

I think it fair, as you brought up people writing comments that constitute hate-crimes to give an example of what I consider to be a real hate crime

"We want to bring about a deep hatred for the Germans, for German Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen. We will hate until we win". Lord Beaverbrook - quoted in Niemals by Heinrich Goitsch.

There is another interesting comment by The President of The International League against Racism and Anti-Semitism,

"Germany is our public enemy number one. It is our object to declare war without mercy against her. One may be sure of this. We will lead that war! Bernard Lecacche written in the League's newspaper "Droit de Vivre (Right to Life) 9th November 1938. -He made these comments before the start of WW2.

I think the world has a long way to go to catch up on hate crimes etc. Comments like these actually involved world wars and although they were made in the 1930's their implication and the world situation today does affect all of us.

Prove:

It is false. I read it on rense.com, and assumed it was factual. The article has dropped off the site.

I'm in the US, where there are no hate crimes, but I note that hate crimes are used to suppress the truth, and mostly on this very topic.

You feel no hate for your own part - you are the one who has used insult as a tool on more than one thread.

I see a lot of opinions bandied about on this site, and most are unsupported.

I think we are going to have a long and fun relationship, don't you?

Laz

PS, Speaking of rense.com, they quote Noam Chomsky: "If we don't believe in freedom of expression for those we despise, we don't believe in it at all."

Personally I think the term settler is bigging it up somewhat. Try THIEF, EVIL, DELUSIONAL
The fact that various countries around the world have also done their fair share of oppression and colonization does not make this right.
As for that last statement you are kidding right? So if I take a fancy to my neighbour's plot - if I feel I have religion or politics on my side, it's ok. Hey maybe we should all come on down to your place and take what we fancy!

So saying the Saudi Royla family is Jewish, without an ounce of proof, for the sheer thrill in annoying another member isnt a HATE crime? You dont think such accusations have implications? ARE YOU AWAKE? DO YOU KNOW YOUR HISTORY? No people on planet earth has sufferred because of false accusations like the Jews have. For a woman who seems to care about history, you should know that the Jews dealt with calumnations of kidnapping children and using their blood to make passover Matzah - despite any proof, despite the biblical commandment against murder, despite Leviticus 19:26 prohibiting the eating of blood. Did the christians who murdered thousands of Jews care? Did the Muslims care when these accusations reared their head again in Damascus in 1840? Excuse me for wanting proof for his claims. If hes just going to spread for the sake of his hatred, than that very much deserves to be called a hate crime. He is spreading false, potentially damaging ideas about the Jewish people. He is claiming that the Saudis - the single greatest financers of Arab terrorism - are Jews. Nothing at all to back that up. Just his demented idea of humor.

Look at what the libel of the "protocols of the elders of zion" a tzarist fabrication based on a French book "dialogue in Hell", did to the Jewish communities of Russia.

Anti-Jewish Pogroms in the Russian Empire

Anti-Semitism is a SERIOUS thing, with real conseqences in seemingly every generation. The Holocaust was not the last episode. It has only taken 65 years for anti-semitism to become a big issue again in Europe. A different generation. the same lies. The same stories about Jews. About Zionists.

I simply want him to stop making up lies. Is that so much? Hes already admitted to "just liking to see me sputter". How is saying "# you" to someone, warrant a removal of a post, but this doesnt. It is the same tawdry behavior. But in this case, much more serious. He makes light of serious issues.

Free speech has limits. To allow people to disseminate anti-semitic ideas, and libels against Jews, without incurring any punishment to me is retardedly irrational. If you go on a plane and say "bomb" you can get in serious trouble. Why is this any different? We know there are consequences for speading lies against Jews. Likewise, planes have been hijacked by terrorists. This is why we have laws preventing any mention of bombs or anything that might make people uncomfortable.

Will it ever be possible to discuss the existence of modern day Israel (regardless of which side you take) without using insults and broad generalizations?

I've noticed that (on BOTH sides) people accuse the opposing side of being racist: even when they aren't saying anything of the sort. Disapproving of modern day Israel and her actions doesn't mean you're some kind of Jew hater. I mean, what about all the Jewish people who also disapprove of modern day Israel's actions?
Also, it works both ways: supporting Israel doesn't mean you're some kind of blind sheep who is ill informed about world politics.

I mean, why can't we just discuss the issue without making it personal? (I know, it's such an easy question to ask, but asking it will change nothing about the behavior of the debaters).

Even I'm guilty of occasionally getting personal when I debate the topic (which is why I try to avoid these threads online). If anything, we should think about why this topic in particular is so manipulative to people's emotions.

The source you derived your post from is just funny.

There is no reason to believe the Neanderthals were particularly aggressive.

There is no reason to believe the average Jew, uninfluenced by fear, propaganda and Zionism, is particularly aggressive.

There is no reason to believe Jews have more Neanderthal genes than any other population with Neanderthal ancestry.

C'mon. It makes enough trouble when one group fancies themselves as being radically different from everyone else. There's no good reason to amplify this trouble by propagating a myth that seeks to make them seem even more different.

Besides, I still fancy the notion that the Neanderthals were the gentle, talented ones, who died out because they were less aggressive than their counterparts.

There is a difference..
You may consider me anti-semitic merely because I state FACTS relating to know and admitted Israeli actions..
That's wrong and is going on in many countries..
No one is perfect or blameless and many races and religions are rightly criticized for the actions..
But the Jews do not accept criticism well and even have laws in place to punish people for merely speaking the truth or asking questions..

I never said a thing about Israel stealing more land.

This is yet another example of folks commenting on items they are so completely ignorant of, they can't make the most basic connection, so they assume an erroneous position.

Nice.

and here we have another good one!

maybe this explains why "some humans" posses good musical qualities !

....
On the other hand, the fossil record shows that Neanderthals possessed an advanced culture. One of the most interesting examples of this is a fossilized flute made by Neanderthal people. This flute, made from the thighbone of a bear, was found by the archaeologist Ivan Turk in a cave in northern Yugoslavia in July 1995. Musicologist Bob Fink then analyzed it. Fink proved that this flute, thought by radio-carbon testing to be between 43,000 and 67,000 years old, produced four notes, and that it had half and full tones. This discovery shows that Neanderthals used the seven-note scale, the basic formula of western music. Fink, who examined the flute, states that "the distance between the second and third holes on the old flute is double that between the third and fourth." This means that the first distance represents a full note, and the distance next to it a half note. Fink says, "These three notes … are inescapably diatonic and will sound like a near-perfect fit within any kind of standard diatonic scale, modern or antique," thus revealing that Neanderthals were people with an ear for and knowledge of music.203.....

As I said, the article has dropped off the site, so I will just retract what I said - it's no big deal, really. You probably are not aware, no,how could you be, that I decided NOT to pick up on what that other poster said about Jews eating babies - it was way too inflammatory. However, I note that you did not attack that poster with anything like the vigor with which you have attacked me. But now you bring it up, the blood in the Passover matzah. Related to that is the blood of children in the Haman cookies for Purim. I read about that somewhere, so I did some research in the Jewish Encyclopedia. The article I found in the JE on the subject discussed the history of the accusations, and so on, and so on, but I noted by the time I finished, that nowhere in the article did it DENY that this ever did, or currently occur. Just saying...

These things cut both ways. You see what I wrote as a hate crime. I see Purim as a hate crime of huge proportions - the celebration of the slaughtering of thousands of non-Jews. As I have said before, we are all Palestinians now. Everyone seems to want peace except the elite, and the Jewish elite are no exception - that is the greatest danger to the Jewish people.

I did find this, in Yahoo Answers:

The household of Saud...are they descendants of Jews?
I read that wahhabism was founded by a jewish saudi who founded the saudi kingdom.

I have answered this question a long time ago but unfortunately it was deleted as a sort of viloation of YA Rules.

It's not the religion but rather the bloodline. Apparently, the House of Saud is a descendant of a Jewish trader who migrated and stayed in what now called modern Saudi Arabia. Apparently, even the late King Faisal of Saudi Arabia has acknowledged this issue. I will give you the site which historically and chronologically lay down the tree of this claim.

I hope it's not yet blocked.

Hello Dontreally

Just to cover the Saudi Royal Family linkage to a Jewish heritage. It appears from the sites I have looked on that basically they were related to a Mordakhai Bin Ibrihim Bin Moshe whom was a trader in Basra. I think this is a very tenuous and distant link going back to around the 851 when a group of men, from the Anza Tribe a part of the Al Masaleekh Clan went to buy cereals in Basra Iraq. The trader there called Mordakhai Bin Ibrihim Bin Moshe claimed them as family. There are a number of links concerning this and apparently King Faisal Al Saud said "We the Saudi Family are cousins of the Jews" reported in the Washington Post, Sept 17th 1969 whether he was meaning literally or metaphorically we won't know.

Well if you can understand the historic connection and sentiment all that's really left is your interpretation of the bible vs. someone else's, and what's the point in arguing about that?

The bible can be, and has been, easily interpreted to fit anyone's wants and needs, so what's the point, really?

With respect,
Eliad.

That's true but when a certain interpretation leads to illegal activities in others eyes then it will obviously lead to arguments..
