Well, I am an Animal Control Officer for a small city. Roughly. 30,000 people. I can anwser any questions regarding animal behavior in the last week or so, but I must do so in a manner that will not jeapordize my job. I cannot give actual proof, just my word if you will. I have noticed in the last week there have been dogs attacking other dogs, dogs biting people and dogs simply acting more aggressive then normal for this area. SE Kansas

What type of information about the change in animal behaviour could jeopardize your job?

Really curious about that, it has never crossed my mind that giving information about animals and their behavious could actually cost someone their ability to earn a living.

Now, if you ad this to the strange behavior of people across the world all of the sudden overthowing governments through anger and rage, and rioting, it all adds up. The effect of powerful conflicting magnetic influence on the brains of animals and humans. This effect has already been proven in the lab.

You know in the scientific field it is the norm. to provide credentials that's why when you read stuff from a scientist or other experts they include them at the bottom of the paper or site...and if you did post the more important ones I just might look em up. If true your statement would hold more weight with me and I'm sure with others as well. Still doesn't mean the sun won't have an effect because the sciences are always changing their theories and discovering new things all the time. The more you know the more questions you tend to have. Once again I'm not saying this theory is right but I think it's something to look into since it seems like people in your field already are.

.....AND... How bout us folks with significant others... Over the past 2 weeks give or take me and the ol' lady have been on edge with each other more then normal. You can use this as a guage for what normalcy is at the O'Brien household. 2 fulltime working parents who don't beleive in daycare.

Wow... sorry I haven't been around to comment on the vast array of posts on this subject! I just woke up (doh!), and have read the comments. here is the GOES 15 image I took a short while ago:

This shot is showing 4 direct hit solar flares errupting a little while ago and aimed directly at us... If anyone here wishes to contest the validity of my worry over this that's your right, but certainly not a credit indicating intelligence.

Yeas, it would be NICE if we could get our times a EST, like everybody else does. I thought the next "Big 'Un" was gonna be in South America. It seemed like these "EQ events" were headed away from the Pacific rim, at least temporarily. Anybody know when /where the next 1 is "predicted" (not that we can hang our hat on that.). Pray that it is mild and there is no Loss of Life.

I have a question:

How do people know this will occur in California?

I know everyone is focusing on a possible quake hitting the States but has anyone considered Europe, specifically around Greece and Turkey. this area has been getting a quake almost daily. don't know if this is normal for the area though.

Here's the site hisz.rsoe.hu... that I am getting the data from.

Do planet alignments have any significant effects on earth's magnetic field?

Well trying to prove the animal behavior could, but nothing can hurt by throwing my two cents in. As for the aggressive behavior it is rather strong right now. I have worked this job for going on 7 years now, in that 7 years..... Well the aggressive behavior stands out in the last week or so, compared to 7 years. I would also like to apologize right now for any spelling errors, (using a blackberry on lunch and my keypad always gets stuck... Sorry)reply to post by esteay812

You might have something there! Have the kids been racing around the house, going from front door to back door? In and out of the house like 35 times an hour? Lots of loud, long durration screaming?

Seems like a quake is emminant in your area friend!....

Well according to UC Berkley website...
"The combined influence of the rest of the objects in the solar system is less than 10 billionths of the influence of the moon. The combined influence of all objects in the solar system, other than the moon and the sun, is at most 0.000059 or only 1/24500 the combined influence of the moon and the sun. Thus, even when all the planets are lined up, their combined influence is relatively small. "
