If the impulse happened on March the 10th and the great Japan quake happened on March 11th. This one happened on the 29th of March, and the quake could be imminent someplace on the Earth. Keep your eye on the USGS Earthquake page. As for me, I think it will be the west coast US or the Alaskan islands region. Either way, if it's a 9.0 or more. The Tsunami will still wipe of most of the California coast.

edit on 30-3-2011 by Fromabove because: (no reason given)

Why do you think it will be the west coast or alaska? Just a guess?

Because California is a bunch of liberal weirdos that just need to fall off the map and stay away from the rest of us.

Sorry but it's true

Because Alaska is where HAARP is and they would never do something like that to their own state or anywhere near that weapon. That's why it won't be in Alaska

Well I am a witness, so the weather is not normal. Wont argue but you and the msm can think it is all you want if thats what makes you feel better. Come look at my calendars of past years, I farm so keep track and see how abnormal things have been and are getting for the past 10 years. The last time we saw snow on the ground at the end of march was in 98. The weather is becoming less predictable and the prevailing winds are changing.

Look at the weather patterns from 1928 till 1937. Extremely unusual and responsible for the dust bowl. Unusual weather patterns happen frequently and are not a sign of a looming global disaster, though you might consider the dust bowl a disaster but that's another topic.

you just say you had a day out.

Based on no science whatsoever and after seeing the countless number of false alarms throughout the history of this site your going to suggest moving inland? I have a prediction that all inland areas are about to be decimated by swarms of ants so you should go there...now what are you going to do? Silly isn't it but yet it holds as much credibility as what your basing your suggestions on.

I think people are still using the old text-book examples of plate mechanisms and magma properties. Magma being afterall a liquidised superheated rock, which still contains properties of silica, iron, metals we have on the surface. Like a balloon being statically charged, this same effect I believe happens as it circulates around our nickel-iron alloy Core.

During times of active CME's, these metal properties in the magma become statically charged and act in driving plates quicker, creating more tension quicker. We already know such rocks as Granite become geolectronically active when submitted to intense heat and physical stress.

What? I have a masters in geology and apparantly you have uncovered something no one else in this field has. Plates actually move along the aethenosphere which is driven by convection through the mantle. Magma is mostly oxygen and silica so it's not going to hold any static charge..just silly

Will do, Slow day at work and I'm pretty bored so I thought I'd keep the USGS site open and with all the predictions of this and that going on I like to keep an eye out.

I will be the first to say I just don't know but I do know one thing I tend to be more aware when someone points out pretty good evidence that current forces could effect our earth more rather than less. I have yet to see any links from you nay sayers to prove anything the only links to any evidence come from the people here trying to alert people to a possible connection of solar events and quakes. All I'm tryin to say is if you want anyone to listen to you and take you seriously your gonna need more than an armchair experts opinion...

Would you really like me to list all my sources from 6 years of schooling, including books, lectures, papers, and so on. And if I did would you bother to go dig them up? Sorry I didn't get a degree in geology but using web sites .... funny

OK, that's enough. I'm calling you out. You're just pulling this stuff right out of your butt. For someone with a "masters in geology," you don't seem to know crap. Where did you get your degree? Captain Crunch University?

Oxygen and silica my furry butt. en.wikipedia.org...

I agree with you. You can take a sentence or two from posts and see that they were a copy and paste effort, changing every other word, or re-arranging a few so that it isn't too obvious.

Example:
Plates actually move along the aethenosphere which is driven by convection through the mantle

Source for external text

... driven by convection within the upper mantle ... along on the surface of an actively convective mantle, remains unanswered. Clearly, for the plates to move ... through the mantle ...
