Personally i think we are starting to make choices now that determine our future. Look at the turmoil in the Middle East. There is open desire for democracy. Even in Syria serious protests are taking place in what has been up to now a very closed society. With the Middle East in turmoil the rest of the world can only hope and pray that no nukes are used. In the longer term i think the current situation in the Middle East are going to encourage manufactures seek alternative fuel sources such as wind, water and solar power. Already we are seeing the dawn of mass market hybrid cars with the electric car not far behind. So give or take a decade that intself will change things. WE MUST DISTANCE OURSELVES FROM OIL! We can no longer keep on using such an ecologically damaging resource. Once we make that step there will be less wars etc North Korea i do worry about but i think the Chinese has Kimmy back on his leash for now. I think it is entirely possible we will see as terrorist attack via a nuclear bomb But i do think we have moved on since the end of the Cold War.

You should think about what you eat, what you live in and what you use as transportation. Everything you use in your daily life supports everything you hate. As long as you spend money, you support the corporate state.

The very ID you represent is even owned by your government. You parents had to apply for it in order to give you it.

I think the main point we should consider is that it WILL either happen, or we'll die before it does. And in that respect we should all prepare for it and make a choice on how we feel it should happen.

I think that is the battle going on right now. Do we want a one world dictatorship? A muslim culture or a western culture? Would you prefer the western culture was in charge or the Arab culture? Or maybe Eastern culture?

Where do you stand? I dont think we have a choice whether or not it will happen, it will, it's obvious we are headed in that direction, but what kind of world do you want to live in?

I agree and am making preparations to go off the grid. I will be leaving my job in a few months and plan to adopt a non-traditional lifestyle. Unfortunately, somethings are unavoidable.

Unfortunate but true. I did not get an SSN until I was 17. Had I known what it really meant, I never would have gotten it.
