Oh Annee, your logic is terribly flawed once again. Your contradicting yourself. If a gay or "homosexual" is predisposed to their own gender in sexual preference, they are then a biased sect of non-reproducing pairs. non-reproducing pairs = no babies. Thus no reproduction. If nobody wanted to reproduce, then they wouldn't, and we would be destined a decline in the human species. They may be *able* to reproduce, but they wouldn't. So the toll of limited propagation would draw a declination of population. (thats a mouthful) We may be able to extract and keep reproductive sperm temporarily with use of technology, but lets face it: The majority of the world (98%) is incapable of such things. So that hypothetical is flawed and improbable.

Homosexuals may be "hardwired" like you stated, however, numerous studies have shown (as I have said numerous times) that homosexuality is linked to many causes, including emotional, trauma, and chemical imbalances (which could be inherent at birth) Yet the key here is what those chemical imbalances are: imbalanced serum hormones. If this where the case, in the age of transgenderal therapy, homosexual behavior could be scientifically curved with hormone therapy. (not dissimilar to the one used in gender bending processes)

It would have to be a choice, though. I'm sure most homosexuals are pretty set in their practices and would choose not to have such a procedure performed. Then again, who knows.

These chemical imbalances may be prevalent in animals as well, in fact the most recent study was to do with mammalian creatures induced with high levels of mercury. It inhibited testosterone so much, that the males actually paired with other males. This was not found in areas near that had little or no mercury levels. So we should probably be looking at what we eat too, gestation is a sensitive stage. Who knows what small amounts of these gender bending chemicals will do to babies.

Incorrect. One example is secretion of testosterone. It is a continual process, deriving and stored in several glands and organs in the body (male and female) and is causation for secondary sexual attributes (deep voice, other hair) as well as primary attributable characteristics (male sexual attraction) and can in fact be persuaded in different ways, for instance testosterone lost at old age.

Although you are correct in saying that one cycle of the hormonal attribution is during fetal stages, it is also quite prevalent (obviously) in pre-puberty, puberty, and the rest of the adult life.

i have nothing against anybody, but nothing is worse than a gay person who doesn't know how to talk about anything besides how gay they are...you don't see me walking around talking about how straight i am in every conversation, so wtf?

Morals don't exist. Homosexuality is only as wrong as you act on it. If you go around parading your sexuality as something to be prideful, demanding others look at you and pay tribute in attention, then it is wrong.

I'm not gay, and I care about gay people, I don't march in parades, or bring it up in conversations but I think they should be able to get married..etc. People are born blind, deaf, with deformities. Homosexuality is not "natural" in the sense that the majority of living things are heterosexual, but it's natural in the sense that it occurs naturally in nature with a generally consistent percent of people born each year being gay.

Gay people wouldn't be in your face if you removed your nose from their lives. Give them equal rights and benefits and they'll stop protesting and gaying-up your street corners.

Motion seconded. The only reason why gays are up in your face is because you're making a big deal about their lifestyle. What irritates me even more is these people that quite blatantly say 'I hate gays, but I don't mind lesbians'. That's very hypocritical. Lesbians are gay just as much as two men are gay.

It may be considered unnatural, but it does happen with other species, not just our own.

So, hypothetically speaking, if someone wanted to have all their kids grow up to be gay, could they do this by altering the secretion of testosterone by giving them certain medications/chemicals?

If everyone was childeren, we wouldn't have gays.

You obviously have a very seriously limited imagination, honestly claiming that the only thing that would legitmize a homosexual union is the ability to procreate? What about raising and protecting orphaned children?

We couple and choose a mate for many reasons, of which procreation is only one and not always a factor. We couple for protection, stability, camaraderie, acceptance, interest, obligation, joy, etc

There are so many reasons that people couple, that procreation has little to do with it, and is nothing more than a nice side benefit when it happens or is possible.

I'm so tired of this gay debate.

I can kinda see both sides, but the side that is for equal rights is the one we should all be siding with. I agree with anyone that says it's disgusting. I hate actually seeing two dudes in a passionate makeout session. I was watching some interesting show the other day, that had nothing to do with homosexuality, then all of a sudden there was a scene with two dudes going at it. I still watched the show, but I couldn't help feeling that it was kinda f***ed up.

That being said, how can anyone justify telling someone else what they are allowed to be attracted to? It is not our right to tell someone else that they can't bring a consenting adult into their bedroom with them. It shouldn't have to be made any more simple than that. I'm sorry to any religious folks out there that feel the need to make everyone else comply with them, but it really isn't any of your business. Look at it this way, if people are going to go to hell for being gay, all that means is when you get past the pearly gates, it will be a lot less crowded than if gays were allowed to enter. You can just mark that one down in the win column for yourselves.

To anyone that says it's not natural, all you need to do is look at different animal species that occasionally partake in homosexual acts. It's not like animals watch the news and say, "hey, maybe I could get into this whole take it up the butt business." They are in fact being sexually aroused by the same sex. As for the procreation argument, there are always going to be enough heterosexuals out there to keep the human race going. If anything, more people should start being gay because our planet is too overpopulated. If everyone did become gay at some point, to quote one Jeff Goldblum, "life will find a way." We would still be able to keep the human race alive in one way or another.

It's time for people to stop being so judgemental about someone who's lifestyle they disagree with. Live and let live.
