Nice! I was a little more focused on facts... or more I want the facts from the Government, no doubt they won't be forthcoming lol:

Dear Sir,
It has come to my attention that the possibility exists that the powers
that be within Australia are soon to discuss the potential of including
many more plants under the serious drug acts policy which are currently
excluded from the list.
I have no objection to the inclusion of any plants directly related to
hard drugs, which we know relate directly to other serious crimes. However
I find it both rather disturbing and confusing that the Australian
Government could even consider banning so many plants associated with the
naturally occurring substance Dimethyltryptamine ('___'). The fact that so
many Australians most probably have plants in their gardens which already
contain trace amounts of it would open a legal minefield, or potential
government robbery in the name of drug enforcement. The other fact that
'___' is naturally occurring in the human body would surely also open up a
massive legal problem, because essentially every human being would become
a banned substance.
It's common knowledge that Heroine Addiction has links with violent crime
and theft. Yet I ask what independent Australian research the government
has regarding '___', especially in terms of its physical, psychological and
social impact. Also I am not interested in the research done overseas, its
clear political and financial institutions can influence research to suit
an agenda or social situation which may differ greatly from what we have
in Australia.
My guess is there is no "real" research, and that a few un-informed
politicians are using this scare-mongering to put forward an agenda, which
could affect millions of Australians. I am very concerned that almost no
Australian's have any awareness of this and/or how it could affect their
lives. There is a fine line between governance for the people and abuse of
power, and something which could affect so many, without their awareness,
surely is an abuse of power?
So would the government please make available all Australian based
independent research relating ONLY to the effects of '___' as highlighted
above. If it is deemed that there are no negative effects, or negative
effects are almost negligible in comparison to legalized drugs (alcohol
and tobacco), then I would hope common sense would prevail and we could
see tax payers money being used on real issues relating to drug problems,
and not potential repercussions for innocent civilians.
