I am glad you said that because we have here, not as fast as I would have liked but yes they have and are getting a lot of their land back.
No bulldozers and no blockades, I will admit that it is a shame with the natives here, but we never needed the "World Police" to come in and bomb wherever and whatever.
Here in our city, almost all natives work in our industry here and it pays big time and they are most welcome anywhere in town to shop/dine/ buy a house.
No fear of getting shot or bulldozed to the ground or starved to death.......not a one.

First of all, it's IMAM. Second, (being a muslim) let me tell you that Iran is a predominantly shi'a nation so they're twisted off jump, I and plenty other muslims don't support them just as we don't support radicals. Their agenda is something foreign to members of most other denominations of muslims.

But then, I suspect your opinion is clouded due to being a Sunni? Kind of like Catholics claiming protestants are wrong and vice versa. Got to take your opinion with a pinch of sodium chloride.

I read your earlier post and agree with you that by international law Israel can do nothing about the Iranian
ships if they happen to appear in the Suez.

The problem for me is that by International Law, Iraq should still be a sovereign nation? I guess the world police also call the shots on who is and whom is not breaking the International laws of this world.

Israel has always done what it wants and answers to nobody as far as their record goes.

I don't believe Israel, the US, or Iran should abide by international law at all.

There is only a couple of laws and they're fairly straight forward:

1. If you're threatened, destroy the threat.

2. Build whatever you want as your nation sees fit(I don't care about Iranian nukes)
for it's prosperity and security.

International law is a joke.

I live in a foreign land (to me) and I consider myself a guest in that country. You cannot accuse Israel about lands won in war and how they manage the land and population if your own country has done the same and worse! People judge Israel because of its recent history, but the USA and Canada's history is not much longer is it?

Now, they didn't have bulldozers when your forefathers landed in North America....not a one! However, you did a good job of shooting them, starving them and taking away there lands.

Perhaps you don't know but there are many Israeli Arabs who live and work in Israel and they have the same rights as Jews. Contrary to popular opinion few Palestinians are actually starving and it is there own leadership who have created the poverty and hunger, as the funds they receive from the vast donations made by the USA, Saudia Arabia, UAE, Iran, Syria etc., just end up in their bank accounts, so don't blame Israel for that.

Please check back in a couple of hundred years and the Palestinians may have made even more progress than the indiginous population of North America, you never know!

I don't believe Israel is right about settlements and many things Israel has done, but i can understand much of what they have done and why they have the attitude they do!

If international law mattered the Iraq War would never have happened.

I live in reality. there a reason the UN is a joke, just like the League of Nations was a joke in it's time. We've been in perpetual war since the dawn of time.

If you think you can legislate at international level what nations do and don't do you live in a dream world.

No law has ever stopped war or criminality of any sort.

Edit to add:

Countries should do what is in their best interests. If a little thought is given, China nuking the US for not paying it's debt is NOT within the margin of Chinese National interest now is it?

I think we need to take this conversation away from the superlatives and hyperbole and back to reality. Israel is doing what it believes is in it's interests, as does the US or any other nation. Iran is building nukes for this very reason as well.

ETA 2:

If anything international law has served as an excuse to go to war with other nations who "violate" international law. Prove me wrong, why'd the US invade Iraq? Yes, but it is against international law to deny passage..
It's merely a formality and I guess the Egyptians need notice to coordinate the canal if many ships are waiting..
