Liberal racism rejects and debases White Americans. Divide and conquer. Radicals are encouraging Black and Hispanic violence against White Americans and in race tribal studies they teach them their race is socialism. Whites are that "greedy" freedom stuff and whites have to be defeated so browns and blacks can "share the wealth." It is totally sick and manipulative.

White Americans need to keep their own history intact beyond the minority groups who are taught to the smallness of jealousy, resentment and hatred. I taught my own kids about early American history; the constitution, the settlers and the founders from the white point of view. I taught them where they came from on both sides of the family. I don't focus on the "white" race; I refer to it as the American-American history. It is wrong that liberals have created separate and hateful race based tribal ignornance.

They enjoyed our weekend American-American civics and history lessons and it made them aware early on that minorities are pretty ignorant and racist today. Mostly it is pure jealousy. The often brought up negative messages they were getting in school and we laughed about it. Everyone comes here for the freedom American-Americans created, which in turn created a wealthy and successful nation. We even brought back the celebration of early American presidents.

If you want to find decent materials and books for your children on American-American history, go back to the 60s or before for childrens American history and civics books. You will be amazed!

I don't know, I feel like an idiot a lot. I am not good at communicating at all. I call it crap, because that is how I feel about it. I can use some cusses to describe it, but it would be deleted. I have ancestors that were martyrs, natives that were killed. I don't blame all white people for it, because that would be racist in my eyes. Blaming a race for evils is racist. Blaming a son for the sins of a father is wrong. I am a halfbreed, KKK types don't like me. I look at people as people, I dont care what color they are. No I do not agree. This is a part of American history, and it still a part of American culture today. The OP asked "When is White History Month?" There is no need for a White History Month, but that doesnt mean we dont need a Black History Month. Think about your time in school --- when was the impact of Black Americans studied? - Never. Every one should study the impact. It is good and right to acknowledge what has happened in the past in order to change the future.

Because teaching about the history of a nation, is all about teaching about the Ethnicities that COMPRISE the nation, as opposed to how the nation was founded, the struggles the people went through to start the nation, the wars, the battles, etcetera...

The reason that the History of America that is taught in school is predominantly WHITE, is because WHITE people are the majority of people who did something NOTEWORTHY in American History.

Well, odds are that early man was dark-skinned. The majority of people in the world have fairly dark skin, and most of our fossil record is found in places like Africa, the middle east, and south Asia, where dark skin is a big bonus.

I often wonder if when whites become a minority in15 years, like I have heard will happen, will liberals still be pushing affirmative action?

Speaking of affirmative action, why do I not hear calls for affirmative action when it comes to professional basketball or football teams, where the starters are 90% black? (Clue: Maybe because they want the best person for the job?)

Why is Obama called the first black president when in fact he is the exact same percentage white as he is black, and in fact was raised by a white mother and grandmother? We are not supposed to judge "books by their covers", so why is he considered black?

Instead of the vague answer that "whitey day is everyday" or "the other 11 months", give me a name of any holiday the celebrates and even has a name referring to white in color. They don't exist because people would be up in arms.it's not about where you come from, you could have a white person born in Africa, "black xxxxxx day" doesn't include the person. It when it's about the color of the skin, that's when I have a problem with it. Maybe that makes me the least racist person!

It's not me that's right, it's just history, a subject that is either studied or ignored depending on the politics of the country one finds oneself in.

Or it's taught and then ignored for personal bias.

first if any one should be offended by Black history its the black people. there is no white history month because white people all know there roots. example , a German has his German holidays, a Russian there own. the entire African continent is grouped together under a skin colour. African Americans cannot in no way know a real cultural pride because the culture is almost completely lost and "white washed"

If I know anything about my roots it is because my parents have told me what they knew about it.

Black people have had the same opportunity to continue that type of knowledge.

Hell YES I would like to know that us "white people" are respected because you know what? Most of us are in the same position as everyone else! OD NOT DISCRIMINATE! That IS BULL #. the only reason why I care so much about the world as a whole is because I put that $hi# aside!

I have nothing against the support of learning about the civil rights battles that Black people have fought over the centuries. The only things I object to are the obviously racist benefits given solely on skin color or race. I mean, the whole civil rights battle was about equality, just like with woman wanting to vote and work a good job, yet what we have are scholarships and mandatory race quotas on schools. This encourages not a color-blind equal opportunity for everyone, but a blatant slap to the face of anyone born white. My whole life I've felt inferior because my skin was white. I can't get scholarships, and I'm competing with only the other white people while trying to get into schools or jobs, because if a person of the ethnicity applies that the establishment needs to fill its quota, then I am thought of as second-best. This is not equality, it is blatant segregation and embracing of racism in my opinion.

We are all human and should be thought of as equals. No person is disadvantaged (at least in America) based on their skin color. One of the only times I would support extra benefits would not be based on race, but on immigration status of the child and/or his/her parents, because if a person and/or his/her parents are from another country, then naturally there will be disadvantages that need to be overcome and can be helped along. Giving money and express passes based on skin color is like saying outright that whites are smarter and more skilled, which is not true. Every individual is different and should be offered equal opportunity regardless of color.
