Most people like me flagged before watching. That's all. I thought it was great and applaud Peter for putting solutions out there. Most documentaries out there leave you feeling hopeless. That being said I feel that technology seems to disconnect people from nature. Not sure how I feel about having technology having even more control than it does now.
I'd love to see humans live more like the natives but if that don't happen I'd gladly take peters version over the one we have today.

After the misinformation and lies presented in the first of this series, I find it hard to even get motivation to watch this one. Anyone fact check during this to see if they're still pulling the same thing?

Very interesting watch. There is a problem with the solution offered tho' - the current power brokers. Are they really going to relinquish all that hard fought for cash and subsequent power that goes with it to live in some utopian and equal paradise.
This is still a dog eat dog world - we are fundamentally animalistic....and comunal. Now look at the power brokers who are basically sociopaths and psychopaths.....and mostly physically inferior creatures.
In a society that lived off the land, in tune with nature and taking advantage of the technology available to use, would these power brokers still flourish? I don't think so, and I don't think they think so either. For that reason the alternative resources based economy advocated by the film would be pretty difficult to implement.
The current power brokers will use every propoganda technique at their disposal along with every oppressive practice they have learned to protect their own positions to stop any of this from happening.

Being a fan of the first two installments (and one to spread them wherever I can) I am sad to say this one was not that good. Reminded me of how disappointed I was with the final Matrix film.
Reasoning-
1) A lot of "no duh" stuff.
2) A lot of "not going to happen in our life time" stuff.
3) A lot of boring talk about things we all know already or what was already covered in the last two flicks.
Yes, yes, yes...I see a lot of people eating this documentary up and loving it, but seeing how the first two were basically educational pieces- this one sort of just leaves me seeing this as a "wish list movie".
I know not many will agree...but the first two were brilliant and this one seems stagnant and ho-hum. It feels to me that the creators ran out of hard hitting content and just decided to advertise the Venus Project a little more.
Sorry...I won't be watching this one again, nor recommending it to anyone as a "must see".
I'm very disappointed and was really looking forward to having my mind blown. Sadly I left thinking "I wasted my time".
