Can Zeitgeist coexist within the current political economic paradigm? It is very rare for a group that deviates from the existing governments paradigm to thrive on its own. Groups that philosophically secede from the union usually end up the target of a federal investigation. Zeitgeist appears to get around the IRS issues by using non traceable currency. As long as the movement doesn't attract too many militia types it probably won't get Waco'd. IRS and RTBA are the two major trouble spots that have historically brought down these types of movements.

Peter Joseph did a good job of copying acharya s's work (which was itself copied and incorrect) when going on his anti religion rant. That was unoriginal, and incorrect, and essentially garbage..

He seems to have chosen to copy the venus project here, which doesn't do much for me either.

This new atlantis new world order lucifer rising 1 world state can pound sand.

He should stick to playing the xylophones because an idealized version of the new world order is a nightmare waiting to happen.

I enjoyed it, althjough it was a little long winded at times. It's definitely one of the better documentaries of the conspiracy genre. I would be interested to see the appendix and look at some of the evidence they used in their research.

I respect Zeitgeist to show the injustice of the world with all the problems we face in a nice little YouTube video for everyone’s consumption. Even though I did not agree with everything in the old videos I do give credit to helping people open their eyes to what are the real problems in the world.

This new video though is a whole new avenue of thought, nothing in this video you can verify since it has never been implemented. The idea is visionary but needs more work to implement this in our world NOW not a future utopia. I would like to see a step by step guide to get there along with this grand notion presented. Better yet, just one city in place implementing these ideas so we can see human nature in action with this set of rules.

It is a noble idea to make things better but even this economy still puts people in a position to be corrupt. The idea of equality is easy but to be implemented is impossible because of ism’s and religion. I enjoy the idea that only 3-5% of the population has to work in a future world but really what would we be doing if we do not work? This is a very complex network and what happens when hackers bring down your food and power supply because they are bored script kiddies? It was stated that murderers would be treated in hospitals, so anyone not on board would be medicated, this does not sound right. That is a point of corruptible power. The idea of no money is hard to accept since really you cannot make everything you need in every location so the whole world would have to be in on this idea as well. A large domestic product to trade with others that do not follow this framework of a society would work but then you would be changing all the data sets around to provide this trade to happen.

Human Nature is the downfall, when someone is able to cheat and get away with it, they will, when they are permitted to steal then they do……on and on

Star and Flag -- Two THUMBS way up on this one, but this is the start and much more works needs to be done to realize this.

What if we get this technological world all put together, then a solar flare from the sun comes and knocks it out? Just a thought.

Interesting religion this Zeitgeist, never heard of it before, as long as they don't have a schizophrenic multiple personality overlord god I will take a look.

I think he meant that the first movie kinda just put names together (List of Jesuses) and claiming all myths were about one common story, but then later, the movie claims the opposite with certain names. I dont really feel like going back to watch to point all this out. Anyone who does their own research on this kinda stuff, understands this, and just shrugged it off when viewing it in the first movie. It was a good movie, but had many errors and editing mistakes, and commentary flipflops.

I went to the site and read this over, although I agree with some of the idea's, its a lot of preaching and no solutions. People want. That's all their is to it. They need a reward in what they do. be it, a job well done, money, or other. My reward, is I am a musician. My money goes to possessions they call useless on this site, so I can enjoy writing and creating music on the side for a hobby. I do agree however, we need to take a different approach to utilization of goods and services. I agree we create to much stuff that wears out to quickly when It could be created to last forever in the name of profit. Also, their opinion of people and raising children. I strongly disagree. Thats blatant judgment by over education. Don't sit their and tell me because of certain events in a child s life, they are destined to become a certain way. I grew up poor. I have a great daughter and a descent life. I did not follow the trend they say the writings, their are many that haven't.

I don't have all the answers. but neither do they ... keep trying and I will keep reading ....

thanks

Most people like me flagged before watching. That's all. I thought it was great and applaud Peter for putting solutions out there. Most documentaries out there leave you feeling hopeless. That being said I feel that technology seems to disconnect people from nature. Not sure how I feel about having technology having even more control than it does now.

I'd love to see humans live more like the natives but if that don't happen I'd gladly take peters version over the one we have today.

People get an immediate dislike to technology and in some cases people say we are losing our humanity because of it, the real truth of it is that technology is been abused in this monetary system for self interest profit gain and self preservation, it's not the technology it's the way in which we are using it which stems rootly from the socio-economic paradigm itself. Movies potray a false sense of use of technology as well where robots kill people and people kill one another with laser beam weapons etc etc, and these movies are for profit gain, once again RFID chips in a monetary system are for centralisation of corporate advantage over others for profit which again is predatory and parasidical so once again technology is been abused and most people cannot see this, in a RBE you are free to do whatever you want, your passion, invention whatever without having to worry about how much will it cost, the real question is how much resources do we have? thats the real question in a RBE. Most humans are distracted and deviated away from pursuing their passions because they have to work as a slave in a meaningless 9-5 job that they hate.

Also with the meaningless bombardment of advertising and marketing in this monetary system for profit eg, 2000 free ph text messages a month for $20, people will use these texts up by maybe texting their mum in the next room to "get their moneys worth" another false monetary system incentive which creates the misconception we are losing our humanity, and so people immediately think this is what will happen in a RBE, which will not as there will not be a tendacy or false incentive to do so,

It's a value change that needs to take place. Most people have a value system disorder and that is derived from the current environment in this case "the monetary system".

After the misinformation and lies presented in the first of this series, I find it hard to even get motivation to watch this one. Anyone fact check during this to see if they're still pulling the same thing?

You seem to only be reading the cover of the book and making up your mind and not the book entirely, which is dangerous if you are to survive through the coming changes/shift.

Everyone keeps saying there has to be chaos and death. There doesn't have to be any of this. We have to move to the next step immediately instead of waiting for the last minute. You can't jump from one rooftop to the next when the first building has already completely collapsed. You have jump to the next building while the first one is starting to crumble. If you try and get people to jump a potentially dangerous and fatal jump while the building is still stable you will get weird looks and people will think you're crazy. You seize the opportunity of a crumbling building to get people to wake up that it's falling apart and that we need to jump now!

We need to ge this started, we need to be in the streets NOW before the calamity begins. We dont need everyone, we need the few who are awake. Death is nothing to fear and shouldn't be a motivation to stop us. Give me Liberty or give me death! It's time to move into a Type I. I'm not going to sit around anymore and watch.

Very interesting watch. There is a problem with the solution offered tho' - the current power brokers. Are they really going to relinquish all that hard fought for cash and subsequent power that goes with it to live in some utopian and equal paradise.

This is still a dog eat dog world - we are fundamentally animalistic....and comunal. Now look at the power brokers who are basically sociopaths and psychopaths.....and mostly physically inferior creatures.

In a society that lived off the land, in tune with nature and taking advantage of the technology available to use, would these power brokers still flourish? I don't think so, and I don't think they think so either. For that reason the alternative resources based economy advocated by the film would be pretty difficult to implement.

The current power brokers will use every propoganda technique at their disposal along with every oppressive practice they have learned to protect their own positions to stop any of this from happening.

The power brokers have a value system disorder and an addiction to power and wealth, which cannot carry on forever on this planet i'm sorry the earth has finite resources therefore in order for them and their kids/future generations to survive they will have to change their behaviours if not we are heading to extinction as a species and we all die. Bio social pressures will inevitably move these power brokers into a corner where they will have to change and put it all back in the box.

Time to move from a Pyramid social structure/type 0 (monetary system) to a hologrpahic social structure (type 1) (resource based economy).

Being a fan of the first two installments (and one to spread them wherever I can) I am sad to say this one was not that good. Reminded me of how disappointed I was with the final Matrix film.

Reasoning-

1) A lot of "no duh" stuff.

2) A lot of "not going to happen in our life time" stuff.

3) A lot of boring talk about things we all know already or what was already covered in the last two flicks.

Yes, yes, yes...I see a lot of people eating this documentary up and loving it, but seeing how the first two were basically educational pieces- this one sort of just leaves me seeing this as a "wish list movie".

I know not many will agree...but the first two were brilliant and this one seems stagnant and ho-hum. It feels to me that the creators ran out of hard hitting content and just decided to advertise the Venus Project a little more.

Sorry...I won't be watching this one again, nor recommending it to anyone as a "must see".

I'm very disappointed and was really looking forward to having my mind blown. Sadly I left thinking "I wasted my time".

MM

I think you had high expectations of a "CONSPIRATORIAL" type movie, which many people i know also thought they would get, and they ultimately missed the whole point of the movie because of their high expectations of some kind of conspiracy type new world order plot. It frustrates me when people cannot see the logic and they look for only what makes them feel good even if it is something conspiratorial. Heck we are in a new world order, wake up man, what other possible soultions are there beside a RBE?? any?

I do not disagree with you at all. These people will fight like hell to maintain what they perceive to be their status tho'. Remember the days when it was almost acceptable to drink and drive? Now its a social no-no. We should adopt the same attitude towards the pursuit of wealth for wealth's sake.....very last millenium.....old fashioned and quaint.

Capitalism has failed in a catastrophic way but they're still doing everything possible to stick a plaster on the lethal wound. All that quantative easing is going to come back and bite them on the bum even harder than they copped it in 2008.

My real concern is that they knew this was going to happen. I was told by an experienced policeman friend 3 years ago (in the UK) that he had been training for massive civil unrest for the previous 4 years....if what we're witnessing at the moment around the globe isn't contrived it was at least recognised as being inevitable.

I was roped into helping a woman promote a document called 'The Earth Charter' round about 2001/2002. She claimed it had been written by grass roots movements from around the globe due to the abject failure of the Rio 1992 summit. The Rio summit was the world leades attempts at change - but they weren't that keen....they would lose their position.

This Earth Charter document was a set of ethics and principles for a sustainable future for the earth, it's people and it's resources, and was an A3 leaflet setting out those principles. Its front man was Michael Gorbochov - its financer? Stephen Rockerfeller.
