Keyhoe handled himself well in that interview. One of the few credible, intelligent researchers. Thanks for posting those videos.

I didn't like that interviewer though, he came across as a little condescending and arrogant, particularly at the end of the interview.

He knows nothing yet some people say he worked on the American saucer design.

Go figure.

P.S. Canada also had several incidents.

The 1940s meant great progress for American saucer production.
The war ended so aircraft companies were hit hard.
And Truman had to contend with strikes.

But America and Russia has the saucer from the German development.
Not from aliens or any other planes except from Tesla.

While saucers grabbed the headlines in America little was known about
the Russian development. I'll guess that once America got the Tesla
technology down to working status an international agreement was made
to keep the Tesla technology under wraps with no takeout.

To keep the rabble under control fairy tales of little green men invaded

Normally I don't waste time by responding to unsubstantiated weak "theories", but this is one "theory" I knew would eventually surface on this thread attempting to "explain" this monumental 1947 wave of flying disc's, and to those unfamiliar to the subject matter, it might at first glance appear as possibly having some merit.
So I will take a moment here to point out the obvious (to most).

Anyone still wishing to investigate the mentioned links as I did will discover the usual claims, and "German blueprints" with no verifiable source, and pictures of the Adamski "craft" used to "prove" their point. (For some reason they chose not to show the Adamski craft picture with obvious nuts and bolts on the outside.) But I digress...

Not credible considering at this point the entire world was aware of US atomic capability.

The craft sighted during this period (and recovered in Roswell) were not Aerodyne's of ANY sort (relying on drag/lift), and were using propulsion/guidance so fast requiring mass stabilizers (to which science still has no clue.)

(So in two years Russia supposedly built saucers -from scratch- (from only theoretical drawings which included no propulsion or guidance diagrams, that the Germans supposedly had drawn) that could:

-and "cut 90 degree corners" at these speeds?
-and the Russians continued buzzing us for years with no atomic bomb of their own?)

(The German experimental "craft" discovered at the end of the war were junk, using only swept- wing/combustion technology. Proposed "flight characteristics" were well within known limits. No German "saucers" were ever built.)

(Cutting 90 degree corners at 15,000 mph with terrestrial technology would have crushed any pilots inside and torn the craft to shreds. Any "blueprints" ever found for the required mass stabilizers or propulsion? I'm sure the Russians managed to invent and produce those in 2 years also eh?)

(And remember that all those -actually involved in the events- state in no uncertain terms that the craft, wreckage materials and crew "were not of this earth"... (even by today's standards) including the performance witnessed by observers.)

(The bottom line is that - The Germans never built a "saucer", all "pictures" are in fact "artist conceptions" and the supposed "blueprints" have no verifiable origin or source. It also infers a direct insult to the veracity and intelligence of the American heroes that had to deal with this event, who stated otherwise. I suggest anyone impressed with "Nazi flying disc" web pages start by looking for any original sources listed there (not) and attempt to verify them.)

This is a new (to me) sighting report(s) from 1947 that appears to have 2 different locations listed:


27 Aug 47 - SECRET HEADQUARTERS FOURTH AIR FORCE Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff,
A-2 Intelligence Hamilton Field, California 4AFDA 333.5/1208-I 27 August 1947

SUBJECT: Re Flying Disc
TO: Headquarters, Sixth Army, San Francisco, California.
ATTENTION: G-2

1. Following is extract from the Weekly Intelligence Summary, Air Transport Command, Washington 25, D.C., dated 20 August 1947, Copy No. 120, Article I, pg 1: "FLYING OBJECTS IN GUAM": Unidentified flying objects have been observed by three American enlisted men of the 147th Airways and Air Communications Service Squadron at Harmon Field, Guam. The men report that at 1040 hours on 14 August 1947 the two objects, which they describe as small, crescent shaped and traveling at a speed twice that of a jet fighter plane, passed over
them on a zig-zag course in a westerly direction at an approximate altitude of twelve hundred feet. The objects disappeared into clouds and a few seconds later a similar object possible one of those previously observed, emerged from the clouds and proceeded west. No further details have been reported."

3 AAF airmen with the 147th AACS Sq. saw 2 small crescent-shaped objects pass over them on a zigzag path at a speed twice that of jet fighter plane (1,200 mph?) heading W at about 1,200 ft. disappearing into clouds, a few secs later a same or similar object emerged from the clouds and continued to the W.

So Canada or Guam, which is it? A little research shows that:

Harmon Air Force Base was the World War II airfield on Guam (Harmon AFB was closed in 1949)

Ernest Harmon Air Force Base was the the Cold War base in Newfoundland, Canada.
(The base was built by the United States Army Air Forces in 1941 and closed in 1966)

The Air Force base in Canada was originally referred to as Stephenville Air Base, which was renamed Ernest Harmon Air Force Base on June 23, 1948, and thus could not be the Harmon base described in this 1947 incident.

Interesting to note that the report pried loose via the FOIA does not have the correct base or location listed.

To: Deputy Chief of Staff for Research and Development: "Flying Saucer Phenomena";

"From a detailed study of certain reported observations on the flying saucers, ...it is apparent that several aspects of their appearance have a common pattern.
...Before pursuing its investigation of these objects any further, this Office requests assurance that no research project of the Army Air Forces, at present being test-flown, has the following characteristics and that it may therefore assume that recent flying saucer 'mystery' is not of United States origin:
...Surface is metallic-- indicating a metallic skin, at least,
...as to shape, all observations state that the object is circular, or at least elliptical, flat on the bottom and slightly domed on the top.
...Size estimates place it somewhere near the size of a C-54 or Constellation as they would appear while flying at 10,000'...

Yes but let's just straighten out the cover story aspect as there were 2 and many seem to think the first was a mistake.

The first was the deliberate announcement of the disc retrieval but giving the wrong location. This was necessary as too many civilians had witnessed the actual crash site (not the Foster ranch) and attention needed to be diverted from the actual retrieval.

The second was the changing of the story to the weather balloon.

Really quite clever actually when you think about it - covers off on many "different" types of witnesses and brings in the ridicule factor.


Edited to add I see you have included the Haut affidavit which also explains this.

We have identified the man selling the green skin dye to the Nazi agents.
Roswell was solely done by those handling the saucers to take off the heat off.
