Seriously? You guys are going to make a big deal about people having middle names. Most of the population has a middle name.
You use a middle name in the press and justice because that is your legal name, and your first and last name are shared by a number of other people. A middle name and a local might help eliminate you being mixed up with some crack pot.
Uh...save for the fact that the shooter addressed himself using a middle name in his YouTube videos.

This quote strikes me as I believe it could be true. In fact many things he said in his videos are true. We are all basically sleepwalking at this point. Many of us maybe not on here are complactant and just live as if we are not aware of our own demise. I don't really think he is insane or even that his thoughts are wrong.
I agree with him on many of his points I just don't agree with his methods.
What is interesting is his mentioning of "Conscience Dreaming." Anyone have any further info on that? It sounds like something that consumed him.

If he'd be tagged already, why wasn't that information forwarded to the local mental health group? To his GP?

There is nothing really special about this guy. The only special thing everyone react to, is that he killed a bunch of people yesturday. No one cared much about this guy before he did that. Not even his own community or the American society.
Restricting the use of the Internet because of what this guy did. Will not cure any of the others that are already just like him.

The Censorship of Madmen
You can’t put a paranoid lunatic like Jared Loughner, the Tucson shooter, anywhere on the Left or Right of our political spectrum.
Some rantings of Loughlin on abovetopsecret.com. To their credit they are keeping them intact for investigators
...We call people like him Wackos. But do we do anything about it? No.
But we might be able to shoot them at some point, if we catch them in a criminal act. That makes people happy....
...Mental healthcare experienced a revolution at the mid-point of the twentieth century with the availability of the first anti-psychotic medications. For the first time, schizophrenic patients could experience partial symptom relief rather than simply being restrained or tranquilized. In this heady environment, a social movement came into being with the goal of deinstitutionalizing the mentally ill. This movement found expression in critical state and federal supreme court decisions supporting patient rights. Numerous state hospitals were shut down as a result, and previously institutionalized patients were released to live in society.... www.mentalhelp.net...
...the Committee for Economic Development, was officially established in 1942 as a sister organization to the Council on Foreign Relations....
In a number of reports written over a few decades, CED recommended that farming resources "that is, farmers“ be reduced. In its 1945 report "Agriculture in an Expanding Economy", CED complained that "the excess of human resources engaged in agriculture is probably the most important single factor in the 'farm problem’" and describes how agricultural production can be better organized to fit to business needs...
Some of the report’s authors would go on to work in government to implement CED’s policy recommendations....
CED members were influential in business, government, and agricultural colleges, and their outlook shaped both governmental policies and what farmers were taught. Farmers found themselves encouraged to give up on a farming system that employed minimal outsourced inputs and capital and get "efficient" by adopting instead a system that required they go into debt in order to purchase ever more costly inputs, like fossil-fuel based fertilizers, chemicals, seeds, feed grain, and machinery....
Their plan was so effective and so faithfully executed by its operatives in the US government that by 1974 the CED couldn’t help but congratulate itself...
The human cost of CED’s plans were exacting and enormous.
CED’s plans resulted in widespread social upheaval throughout rural America, ripping apart the fabric of its society destroying its local economies. They also resulted in a massive migration to larger cities. The loss of a farm also means the loss of identity, and many farmers’ lives ended in suicide... farmwars.info...
