When it refers to the spirit of god hovering above the waters, maybe it was just a boat hovering over the water. Alot of ships are called the spirit of something these days.

It seems like a lot of people today cling to delusional beliefs based upon skewed story telling.

I always have a little laugh when 'religious' people question my belief in aliens... yeah, right. Like who's really showing how gullible they are - me or them?

The sad part is that 'religion' still dominates sheep-think, so we're bogged down with historical baggage that is a hinderance to future progress. "God did it", is not a satisfactory answer to some of the bigger questions being asked, no matter how much the religious zealots want us to believe it...

Like many Christians, I'm sure, I too have wondered what kind of celestial technology, if any, God might use in the spiritual realm. And since it is written in the Scriptures that mankind was made in God's "image" and "likeness" it would not be wrong, in my opinion, to deduce that human creativity and ingenuity might parallel to a lower degree God's creativity, which I think is evidenced in modern technology.

For instance, in the book of Revelation (4:6) it states: "And before [God's] throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal..." Some have speculated that this "sea of glass" might be something not unlike our flat screen televisions.

Even in the film The Matrix Reloaded where Neo meets the Architect of the Matrix (who represents God), he is sitting in a room surrounded by television screens paralleling this scene from the Bible.

The first chapters of the Bible have a talking snake and depicts God as being able to create the Universe by sheer will alone. Later on God performs another impossible feat by managing to flood the entire Earth. There's also the tower of Babel where somehow God manages to confuse everyone's language skills. For every story you pick and choose that you can insert aliens into there are a dozen more where aliens don't fit no matter how far you stretch scripture. In the end all you are doing is robbing the verses of their proper mythical context in order to arbitrarily insert aliens where there are none. It is the same painfully poor reasoning that leads people to ancient astronaut theory every single time.

So God disguises himself as a pillar of fire, so what? Why would you insert aliens into that? You wouldn't insert them into the burning bush story would you? Clearly the burning bush was actually a high tech device that the aliens used to contact Moses :bnghd:

there are bushes that do burn to re pollinate(spelling) themselves in nature so the burning bush story is true but the voice man not have been.

Yeah. My point is merely that in order to stretch the myths to fit the alien conclusion you need to rip them out of context and ignore all the happenings in the stories that don't fit aliens at all. Take the Flood story for instance, or the story of Balaam and the talking donkey, etc. These stories clearly have nothing to do with aliens and while I'm not a big fan of the Bible I don't like to see it reinterpreted and twisted to support ancient astronaut hypothesis or any other idea for which there is no evidence. If the Bible doesn't count as evidence that God actually exists literally the way he is described than it can't possibly count as evidence for aliens.

flying craft are also mentioned in Ezekiel chapters 1-3-8-10. amongst other things in there are angelic beings, Jehovah and ascention...

yes the clouds are very involved somehow, currently and over the last few years something different is up and have seen quite a few extraordinary sights, so I was glad to see at least this one thing

It is easy to understand why some may be fooled to believe 'advanced beings' with 'advanced craft' are our 'gods', for there are indeed watchers, though not all are aligned with the Christed benevolents.

There are the ones operating who were called the FALLEN and cast out of the 'kingdom of heaven'. And these principalities have more influence on mankindy than most may realise.

Prepare for more openly obvious craft sightings. Anticipate the coming deceptions. The Bluebeam agenda is real my friends. It is Lucifer force 'rising'.

Those faithful with complete trust in Christ will be graced to 'see through' the coming deceptions and false disclosures.

For many of the flock will be lead astray of the Way, the Truth and the Life, beyond the illusions that befall mankind both today and moreso in the days to come.

This is a great thread with a great viewpoint with vlid claims to back it up.... well done hazy

I would love to see the whole bible looked at from this viewpoint

My immediate thought...

Why has no body put forward that those clouds or vessels of fire and all that was just Stage Props

used by this God or Angels to impress/awe the indigenous peoples.
the technology level of this God/Angels is not much beyond NASA capabilities today,
combustion propulsion by God?... why not gravity manipulation for transport,
it would have been 'green' technology even back then... but instead these ancient visitations
needed pollution causing rocket engines that spewed out fire and smoke?

i do agree the flying 'scroll' , might today be called 'cigar shaped'
the 'flat sheet' referenced, might be akin the Arabic 'flying carpet', the Tribes not to be out done by Arabs
the 'chariots' sound like they might be SegWays that had arial capability, & not spaceships

the 'pillars' in the daytime could be just 'dirt devils', (i once seen 7 at once in AZ)
the pillars of light at night...i don't know, maybe heat lightning concentrations that formed a distant 'boundary'

all the things 'seen' by the locals, were stunts or illusions made to impress, just like the CO2 fog used on stage/movie sets... in fact the effects in movies would be to a time traveling Israelite, be similar to all those impressive 'presence of God' effects they witnessed in the Exodus.

As I know it and share freely and you can take as you would like is the word God. We gave the name God to the Beings that came from the skies (Heavens) God (s) are our Creators which are Aliens as we would think of them now.

The Creator's which I know to be known as the Elder's can do things you can't even imagine. Yes they do use the ships and yes they can come back in time because time slows or speeds depending ......if you want to call it that.

The ones that monitor and protect the Earth are called Angel's

Of course God uses what we would term technology! Look at the overall design of the universe with each subsystem (stars, galaxies, us, everything) transefering information/energy from one place to another and one form to another.

Just look at our bodies as a technological statement too..

all the mumbo jumbo in the bible that is attributed to jesus or god can possibly be done now by our magicians so why is those events religious?

Makes me also think about the part in revelations, where there is an image made unto the beast, so that it may even speak.

14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

The first TV commercial? Or special effects of a beast like creature, as if like a scene in a movie to brainwash the people into believing something fictional or not true. They would not know it's special effects, Perhaps these were other aliens with a different agenda working against Yahweh, SATAN perhaps?

15 this line sounds like a TV set, the power is in his finger, or remote control to turn it on or off, to give the image life.
