What non-muslims understand about islam is what is shown in the actions of muslims, that’s all non-muslims have to go on

But in an effort to understand islam many people have investigated islams teachings and are usually disturbed by what they find

Some of the most disturbing things are:

Whether you like it or not the koran and other books that make up islam, can be interpreted in a very sinister war like way

The character of mohammad, such as the paedophilia and being a war lord ect.
Remember non muslims aren’t brought up thinking mo is some kind of role model, non muslims don’t have the rose colour glasses about mo that muslims have

Taqiyya and Kitman – the teacing that allows muslims to lie to non-muslims, remember even if muslims don’t actively do this, many non-muslims know this is part of islam and so everything a muslim says or writes is closely examined and usually disbelieved.

The above is made even worse by the fact that most muslims don’t know or prefer to ignore the dark nature of islam, pretending islam is all kittens and rainbows is not helping and non-muslims aren’t buying it.

Islam’s reputation is in tatters and only the deeds of muslims is ever going to change that – talk alone will do nothing to improve things

But the facts are that the majority of the Islamic republics out there, where Islam is the dominate faith in the country, it is not only heavily involved in the government, but also the setting of policies, and those that follow, often turn to an Islamic Cleric, for guidence and how to proceed, seeking counsel there, rather than making a determination. Even the leaders of Islamic groups in the west, the leaders are Immans, and clerics, thus the perception is very much correct that it is the Clerics that lead the Muslim world, not the individual.

Indeed. In fact, most translations of the Koran into English tend to be 'Koran lite' when it comes to toning down the hatred.

The following are a few abridged verses. By the way, its a laugh when Muslims say they are taken out of context - the Koran has virtually no context!

The following come from a very respected translation. They are a summary of the full verses but they are an accurate summary.

60:1 Don't be friends with disbelievers. They are your (and Allah's) enemy.

63:4 Disbelievers are perverted. They are the enemy, confounded by Allah.

58:14-15 Don't make friends with Allah's enemies. For those who do so, Allah has prepared a dreadful doom.

53:29 Stay away from non-Muslims, especially those who disbelieve in the afterlife.

4:144 Do not choose disbelievers as friends.

4:144 O ye who believe! Choose not disbelievers for (your) friends in place of believers. Would ye give Allah a clear warrant against you ?

5:51 O ye who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians for friends.

5. Non Muslims are liars and wrong doers to be stayed away from.

3:73 Don't believe anyone who is not a Muslim.

5:45 Non-Muslims are wrong doers.

6:106 Stay away from idolaters.

16:39 Disbelievers are liars.

6. Non Muslims are guilty, evil, wicked, evil-livers, who have diseased hearts and are not to be trusted

60:1 Don't be friends with disbelievers. They are your (and Allah's) enemy.

3:110 Muslims are the best people. Most Non-Muslims are "evil-livers."

9:125 Disbelievers are wicked and have diseased hearts.

16:27-29 Disbelievers are evil and will dwell in hell forever.

9:7-9 Don't make treaties with non-Muslims. They are all evildoers and should not be trusted.

7. Don't be friends with non-Muslims. Kill them instead.


The above is a small selection of the hatred displayed towards non-Muslims in the Koran.

That is why I try to be very honest about what I know of the Islam laws, believes and religion and it hurts me when somebody that I never insult in any way tell me that I am "ignorant", but knowing the true about the "religion of peace" keeps me enlightening those that have no clue.

And I will fight the intentions of Islam in the US for the rest of my life. . .

Wrong where do you get your information the largest conversion to Islam is males in prison.And it isnt because of the religion the reason males in prison convert is for protection of the group.

Just for the sake of argument, a great deal of this is up to semantics. I've said before, Islam and early christianity carry similiar warts.

It would seem that execution ( sorry for the pun ), will depend on the reader and the environment. Commission of Sharia seems to be locational. Ancient tribal beliefs mixed with the Koran? Christianity has a lot of Pagan symbolism.

I still have no interest in going to Saudi or similiar places. They'ed whack my Gnostic butt in a sec!

You seem to be unaware that the Muslims conquered 3/4s of the old Christian world, occupied southern Europe for hundreds of years and were repulsed at the gates of Vienna, not once but twice.

Muslim slave traders used to roam as far afield as Ireland and enslaved about 500,000 Europeans right up into the 18th century.

Are you even aware that the Pope had to pay protection money to Muslim pirates to prevent them from pillaging Rome?

For the last 2 centuries the West has been in ascent and the Muslims were more or less under colonialism.

For instance, people who have converted/reverted have done so
for the 5 pillars of Islam, by comparing and studying other religions,
and for no other reason but to acknowledge that there is no other ,
NO partners only one creator.
A 'cleric' is no exception.
Everyone is encouraged to study .

Ooz is again misinformed in the bible the only mention of virgins is in the book of Numbers “The plunder remaining from the spoils that the soldiers took was 675,000 sheep, 33 72,000 cattle, 34 61,000 donkeys 35 and 32,000 women who had never slept with a man.”

But hes misinformed on so much because he keeps trying to argue specific points but never the broader picture. He keeps saying the hadith is nothing means nothing to the religion but we all know thats false. And please im tired of this argument about if mohhammad depiction is banned in the Qu'ran.

The answer is not directly however idolotry is banned

Behold! he said to his father and his people, "What are these images, to which ye are (so assiduously) devoted?" They said, "We found our fathers worshipping them." He said, "Indeed ye have been in manifest error - ye and your fathers."

In the hadith it has been interpreted to forbid any representation of the prophets.

The title of this thread is puzzling. Is this 5 myths wrapped inside a myth? Sort of like those Russian dolls. I know, I'm a party pooper. Bringing reason to the party. I would have brought an adult beverage but that would go against the will of the myths. Or is Muslims and alcohol a myth too? So many myths, so little time. Maybe a cheese and sausage gift basket? these are a given across most religions, what's your point ?
I mean, if you had kids wouldn't you warn them to stay away from
those that could bring harm to them ? as those that would
improperly influence them as with idolatry or alcohol ?
BTW you conveniently left out that the original biblical/ Torah
books observers are indeed given respect by Islam and no less.

As for Don't make treaties with non-Muslims it was to as certain
situation at the time. But then, 1rst nation's people learned this the

Let's read the Bible, since you seem to be visiting very wellknown anti-Islamic websites:

Leviticus 20:9
" 'If anyone curses his father or mother, he must be put to death. He has cursed his father or his mother, and his blood will be on his own head.

Leviticus 20:11
" 'If a man sleeps with his father's wife, he has dishonored his father. Both the man and the woman must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.

Leviticus 20:13
" 'If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.

It seems the Bible calls for everyone to be put to death, even Jews who reject Christianity, they should be put to death, their blood is in their own heads, as the Bible says:

5 When Silas and Timothy came from Macedonia, Paul devoted himself exclusively to preaching, testifying to the Jews that Jesus was the Christ.

6 But when the Jews opposed Paul and became abusive, he shook out his clothes in protest and said to them, "Your blood be on your own heads! I am clear of my responsibility. From now on I will go to the Gentiles."

7 Then Paul left the synagogue and went next door to the house of Titius Justus, a worshiper of God.

In the old Testiment (before Jesus) this was the law. Sin was taken very seriously (as it is not in our society) back then. Sin = Death. But that is not the law anymore. We are under a new covenant after Jesus died on the cross and rose again. Hence he died for our sins so we can all be saved. Read the enitre Bible or at least have an understanding before trying to make an argument because urs is very weak.
