Anyway, both you and I know the Hadiths precribe the death penalty for leaving Islam.

(for anyone who doesn't know, the Hadiths are almost as holy to a Muslim as the Koran. In fact, the Koran is pretty much unreadable without the Hadiths to explain what is going on.)

Here's Fact #1 for this post: All the things the OP claims are myths, are indeed not.

Just like any other religion on this planet, they all call for some sort of violence and persecution...Islam gets no free pass, and to pretend it doesn't exist is to embolden and empower the radicals who would use your sympathies against you.


Fact #2: Posts like the OP are the new "I have a black friend" statement to "Prove" that you're not a bigot.

These aren't myths. They're just the extreme part of a religion. All religions have them. Stop denying it.

Quran is the source of Islam, anything which goes against Quran is false.

Your "Holy Book" is useless to a non-believer in Islam.

Non-believers in Islam judge you by your actions.

By the actions of followers throughout the world it has been shown that Islam IS a violent religion.

Funny, all of the people I know do not spend that much time infront of the tv, are well read and tend to put thought into what comes across, or they hear, taking a very close look at such, to include about Islam and what Muslims believe. But I do not believe they are stupid, that is like stating all those who go to church and listen to a man, who studies a particular religion, are stupid. Is that what you are stating?

The US suffer's constantly from external and internal condemnation. The day will come when those responsable for 9/11 and it's aftermath will face justice.

There is a saying here in Spain - 'Dont judge a child by if he spill's his milk or not, but by how he cleans it up'

The western world has many failing's, political and judicial and sometines humanitarian. But we try to make amends for these shortcoming's. The islamic world, on the other hand does'nt try to make their world better, they dont try and bring themselves into the 21 century. They dont try and clean up their "spilled milk".
So how are we expected to judge them when they show no intention of change, or social progression.

It'd be no different than if a bunch of Christians were running around, in the name of Christ, beating gay people with giant stones, until they bled from their ears.

Or if Jewish people, in the name of God, were offering their children up for sacrifice to God.

The difference between the two is a staggering number. You call it an "extreme minority". Well apparently it's not too extreme. It's spread all throughout the middle east, and spots here & there through the rest of the world, and there were enough of them that it sparked a war that has lasted 9 years and is still going strong.

I wouldn't really call that a "minority" of followers. It's certainly not the majority. But then again, i don't really see lead figures of Islamd coming forth and speaking out against it, either.

It becomes clear that you have never read Genesis, nor have you read the Bible. It would be prudent to at least read this stuff, before you start posting comments about it. There is always someone to call you out, and you know how you hate that.

You know next to nothing about what the Bible actually says, so you should have the sense to stop making things up, or repeating what you've been told from others who haven't read it.

And just to clear matters up on this little topic.....Adam and Eve were not in heaven. They were in the physical body in the Garden of Eden, as the story goes.
