More idiots causing chaos leaving tax payers footing the bill for repairs. Bunch of assholes.
Well done

All of those caught on camera i would prosecute for criminal damage and jail them, the ones that have been caught doing the damage.
Next it'll become terrorist headlines.

Also i would like to point out the ring leaders? Same as the G20 protesters perhaps? Carefully orchestrated.
Is London really part of the UK anymore? Really?

You're ridiculous. People like you try to justify your mindless respect for authority and wealth by tiptoeing around what you really mean. Blah blah taxpayers, blah blah buncha hoodlums, blah blah prosecute those anti-social criminals, blah blah terrorists, blah blah they're orchestrated by Al Gore and George Soros.

Seriously, get a grip on reality, bud. You sound like a closet Fascist.

The fact you were denied further education and others like you is the reason for the protest.

Contributing to the good of all is what living in a society is meant to happen.

I have paid taxes all my life, so has my wife. We have never had children but do not begrudge contributing to the health and education of others. Again this is what society means.

I have never brought anything other than my house on tick yet I am expected to pay for the excesses of the rich while they carry on their exclusive party. That my friend is called robbery and capitalism at its worst.

They are lucky the protest was as peaceful as it was.

yes man, JAZZ10 sounds like a Bush kid, a Cheney puppet, a Karl Rove disciple, a Rumsfeld boy, a Thatcher daddy, a Raegan fellow, he accepts everything from the Powers, he pays lots of money for them to be reelected, he pays for tea party anti-masturbation pro-life old ladies .....
he only wants to pay for himself, because he has lots of money ( where did he get it ??? ) he never will pay with his person for someone else in trouble, only for the rich and famous, he says to the students : f$$ck you, I can pay, you better get out of my way troublemakers ...
he's the kind of man that does not want to pay for ecology also, does not want BP to pay for oil spill, just does want US, the normal people, to pay for cleaning all the sh$$t the POWERS put in our faces ....

I feel I am getting angry in my writings, I feel a "warning" coming maybe ..... hahahaha lol ... sorry man

Pity there was nobody to lead them like the late Jimmy Reid.

“There will be no hooliganism, there will be no vandalism, there will be no bevvying, because the world is watching us and it is our responsibility to conduct ourselves with responsibility and with dignity and with maturity.”

They have a right to be angry as higher education is now only for those who can afford it. The libs have gone back on their promise so I say tear the place up. When the people who are supposed to be representing us will not listen what other choice do we have?

So because the cost to attend college is going up the students have the right to destroy property? Makes no sence at all. If they really want to make a point, they should all drop out. The loss in revenue would be so significant the costs would have to come back down. Someone has to pay for the property that was destroyed now and it will be factored into the cost of tuition so they just did more harm than good.

and yet i bet you're the first type of person to say the Uk is too placid, too relaxed, too lazy to protest.

You also fail to take into account that around 50'000 students attended, yet you group every single one of them into your cosy pigeon holes.

It is different here. Your system is failing along with other models in the EU and we have a President who thinks it would be great to have the same system in a country larger than the European continent. The writing is on the wall and our president can't see it let alone even read it. A system like that would cripple the US that is already mired in international debt. and out of control entitlement programs as it is.

Basically we are all poked. I see what's happening today in London and what has been happening in France, Greece, Spain etc and I don't want to see that here.

Good luck. Hope none of the protesters or innocent bystanders get hurt. You are all playing with fire and a powder keg.

I'm afraid its just a matter of time before it comes to your shores!!!

I think the US will get it worst to be honest...we might struggle for things here in the EU but The States economy will seriously crumble soon and that dollars in your wallet and bank wont be worth a single thing!!!

Then the "fun" begins...riots, protests??? The world aint seen nothing yet!!!

Rioting, smashing cars, stealing goods and starting fights with the police may make people on the ground feel better, and soothe their hatred towards whatever big shady power that they are rioting against, but in reality the only purpose it serves it to make the ones on the ground look like blood hungry savages, thus damaging their stance on their subject.

There may be a time for violence in some situations, but a protest on a public street near people who have no idea what is going on is certainly not the place.

It also makes no sense to run an economy by debt. Nearly destroy the economy because of debt and then put your youth into more debt to solve the problem whilst blaming the last government for our debts.

And if this had been a perfectly peaceful demonstration how much attention would MSM given it and how many people would have remained completely unanware of this situation?

If this has stirred only a handful of people out of their state induced lethargy and apathy and caused them to start questioning just what is going on then it will have been a worthwhile exercise.

We have THE right to destory a building because they are destorying young peoples lives and future childrens lives...

People seem to forget that the government was elected BY the people, FOR the people....they dont listen so we have to take action, its just a shame that there were only 50,000 people and only 1 building...10 Downing Street or Westminster would have been better!!!!

For those slating the violence, stop and think first. Now, obviously smashing things up is bad, and does nothing to support your cause of protest. So, who would gain from there being violence at a protest? Take this picture from the G20 in london.

Now, isn't it funny how there are quite a few media type cameras right in place to capture this "hooligan" in action to spread the word how violent protests are. Other pictures from the day illustrate this too. There were a fair few big cameras surrounding the only place in london to get smashed up. You don;t take a big bulky camera to a protest unless you're working. They even got a shot from the inside

It's called a setup.

I thought CX hit it on the head. I don't see the problem with not being forced to pay for others if you have no control of what they do with that money. I'm of the opinion welfare recipients should all be drug tested and pass before they can recieve a check. They should not be allowed to drink alcohol, smoke, eat fattening foods, have cell phones or procreate. If they want or expect others to pay for them then the people doing the paying need to have some say in how the recipients use the money given to them to live on. If they think they have a right to have all of those things then they need to work for it and buy it for themselves without the help of our (the taxpayers) money. Thats how it works in the real world folks. This isn't a CareBear Movie.

I understand why they are angry, no one likes to pay more but destruction of property does nothing but cause more harm to everyone.

I agree totally. We, the U.S., need to cut spending and in a hurry. This debt is rediculous. Now we have yet another Gov sponsored program we call Obama Care which will do nothing but increase spending.

You missed out: Have children. Watch the telly. Must look to the ground and tug a forelock when addressing their betters.

Let the rich and powerful do what they want, when they want, how they want to whoever they want with no restrictions in place.

You are the enlightened one

Edit
Oh you are from the USA that explains it. You had better hope no one in power your side of the pond reads your post. You may very well miss the taste of booze yourself if the reports of the failing dollar are true
